We visited coffee bar twice in Reno. I got the lavender coconut milk latte which is really great for all my obnoxious dietary restrictions. My husband got iced coffees, chocolate croissant, and ham and cheese croissant. He said they were both phenomenal. They do have a time limit on the Wi-Fi so if you intend to pop a squat for a long time you may be out of luck (the time limit is two hours and 15 minutes). Their chairs are kind of uncomfortable and it wasn't just us. There was a group of people sitting behind us that also complained about the chairs, but they fit the vibe. They also had outdoor seating. Overall a good experience. Would recommend. read more

Third coffee shop I visited this weekend! This one was really good. The vanilla latte was delicious and well presented. They had food which was a huge plus. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was also delicious. I will say it's a cool place to get some work done or weekend brunch meet up with indoor and outdoor seating. The barista and staff were so nice and communicated well and obviously know how to make a great latte. I would say it could use a good floor cleaning though and the tables you bus yourself so if a customer doesn't pick up after themselves it looks messy. They did have a sign for under staff that day which may be the reason for the slight messiness. They are also very busy so the latte took a minute but I was not in a hurry and was worth the wait. Worth a visit! This is a great little cafe. I've visited the other Coffeebar locations in town and enjoyed them greatly; this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the coffee was good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Though the place was busy, I was able to find a table for four very quickly and our order was ready shortly thereafter. Of all the food and drink my group tried, I was especially impressed by the oat bowls, which were full to the brim with fresh fruits and nuts. The pastries were also delicious and went well with their coffee. Perhaps the only downside to this location is that it is relatively small, but again I had no issue getting served and seated even when they were busy, so it is a small downside at that. I definitely think this is a good option if you're looking for a cafe in the area! read more

Dropped in for a coffee right as some restrictions being lifted. All employees wearing masks but almost no customers wearing them. This place has a great patio for outdoor sipping, but we were just grabbing and going. Inside and roomy and they have seating, merchandise, and large counter for checkout and to view food offerings. We got the lavender latte which had a great lavender flavor to it. The second drink was the dirty chai. Not my favorite dirty chai I've had, not to chai "spicy" and not much sweetness to it. Consistently quality. I have had the same experience at Coffeebar for years, and it keeps me coming back. That and the fact they've evolved so well over that time, keeping it intriguing and interesting! Lately I'm crushing on the Masha from Burundi. I've never had a coffee from this region but it hits all my high notes. Deep and rich flavor, with the complexities that make me think first thing in the morning. I've been rationing it out since I bought it a few weeks ago, thinking it might not be there the next time I go get coffee. I even swung into the shop for a cup to avoid making all I had at home! Service is always friendly. Baked goods top notch. And the atmosphere super inviting. I only wish it was less popular so I could find a seat! Ah well. What a gem of a place in Reno! As a traveler, I needed somewhere that was warm and had enough seating for me to work. This is seriously one of the most aesthetic coffee shops I have ever been to. There is PLENTY of seating (although it fills up quick), baked goods to buy, and an extensive hip coffee and tea menu. They even have merchandise you can rock around town if you fell in love with this place like I did. Really enjoyed everything this coffee shop had to offer. How about if you order a beer and the main ingredient is milk, but there is a teaspoon of beer in the milk? Well, I ordered a sausage burrito, and it was egg, undercooked potato, and beans, with a tiny morsel of sausage. Clean and upscale, comfortable, music was spot-on. Different seating options, so you could go solo to read, meet a friend for coffee, or study with a group. Had 6 nights in Reno for work, and found this gem of a coffee shop. As a barista who has 7 different ways at home to make coffee and has been to some of the best artisan shops in the U.S. and abroad, my standards are high. They simply bring it ... even though I wish they had a single origin, light roast option. But in every other respect they excel. This is a long over due review. Whenever I plan a coffee date I suggest having them at the Coffeebar Reno. Three reasons, ample space indoor/outdoor, tasty Mocha Lattes, and their selection of croissants. I highly suggest coming in on an early Sunday morning and ordering a Mocha Latte with a buttered or Ham & Cheese croissant to take your caffeine in and please your tummy. One can usually find a nice group of people to open conversation with if your inclined to as well. Staff is friendly and thorough in taking orders. Arriving early helps you skip a line but in my experience even when there is a line staff moves the line forward fairly fast. read more

I haven't been here since before Covid and I'm glad I came back. They have improved on their menu and drink selection. The baked goods aren't quite as good as my other favorite coffee shop but still better than most. I'm looking forward to next time when they haven't run out of so much. I should know better than to order ice tea in a "coffee bar" and next time I'm going to try some of the different roasts. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have a couple of dark roasts. What I like about the atmosphere here is it's open and airy but not loud or like an echo chamber. They have also found the perfect level to play the music at. Low enough so as to no be intrusive but loud enough to be able to recognize the songs. I'm not going to comment on the service because I'm just not sure how I feel about it. Great day for a nice cup of Jo and a bowl of soup. I found my gem, the Coffeebar. Today I decided to go exploring for that cup and soup, and I found it. I fell in love with their mocha. I love the richness from the chocolate, the aroma from the coffee, and it was not to sweet. The coconut curry soup was divine. The serving size was perfect, and I enjoyed the heart shape design on top of my soup. Designs on foods are probably one of my favorites...when it come to restaurants being creative. While in Reno, wanted to try some local coffee. The reviews were amazing, so we decided to give this place a try. I had a caramel latte and my BF had it iced..AMAZING! We also decided to grab breakfast, and we both had the avocado toast with a poached egg. Again, AMAZING! Our daughter wanted a muffin, so we went with their berry muffin, and again equally amazing! Fresh berries in the muffin, it was delightful and it's a score when your 5 year old eats the whole thing. I will say the prices are a bit high, I believe I spent around $41 plus a tip for this visit, however it was a treat for us, and we definitely plan on returning when in Reno. read more

The wife and I needed a quick breakfast near midtown, and our wanderings took us to Coffeebar. I haven't been here since the 2010s, and the place looks so much like it did then. I feel it's a plus because it still seems modern yet comforting. I love the exposed brick and soft lighting. The staff was super fast and friendly. My wife had to get the Ube latte while they had it, and I had my go-to for checking coffee quality, a Gibraltar (aka Cortado). The late was subtly flavored and not too sweet. While I may favor another coffee shop for the Gibraltar, it was still very, very good. We also had a chorizo burrito and an egg sandwich. The burrito was what you'd expect of an American style establishment, but very good. The egg sandwich was definitely a favorite. This may be controversial, but most places overlook and, therefore, ruin their scrambled eggs. If they're super firm and rubbery, they're meant for the bin. Coffeebar's eggs are a perfect soft scramble. Add to that the caramelized onions, and you have a superstar sandwich. Come for the coffee, stag for the sandwich. read more
