Perfectly pulled shots in the latte, and milk was textured with nice mouthfeel as well. A little time to prepare, which is exactly what you want from a coffee place. Funky modern vibe. A little on the modern euro side. Nice out door seating and lots of seating inside. Typical line inside to order. Line went fast they know how to make it move. Food looked fresh and yummy, especially the almond croissant. Coffee has a more earthy flavor. Very good and not your typical common roasts from the chain coffee places. This is a place you have to look for it's not on Main Street in on the back side by the historic Jail. Make sure to find it as you will want to give it a try. read more

We stop here for breakfast every time we make a trip to North shore. Love the coffee, and pastries. Be sure to ask them to warm up your pastries. Our favorite is the seasonal scones. Good service and nice ambiance. Long lines so get there before 9:30am on a weekend. read more

I came to reno for a volleyball tournament this weekend and i wanted a light breakfast that would also give me a boost. This was the perfect place to fulfill my requirements. Coffeebar has great service and a beautiful atmosphere. The food is delicious and the coffee is excellent. They have a handful of breakfast items to choose from to fit many needs. They have an assortment of coffee and tea flavors. This was a quick, easy, and delicious place to have breakfast and grab a drink. I would definitely come back here again!! read more

Quaint coffee shop in Truckee on the way into Tahoe. We tried the Quattro crepe and farm crepe. The Farm crepe had Cajun turkey (spicy with a nice kick) and pesto while the Quattro crepe very good with Nutella strawberry, marscapone, banana. What a great spot. Amazing hot beverages right in the heart of DT Truckee. The Coffeebar is delightful and hipster all at the same time. With character busting at the seams and amazing drinks following right behind. I've been in a few times, but most recently over NYE weekend. Checked out this place this week and was super happy with their service and their tea! The baristas were very friendly and helpful which I always love and am somewhat surprised when I get that from coffee shop people. This place is awesome. It's not on the main drag of Truckee, it's on Jaboom St., a side street and a local recommended it to me. Right next to a small jail museum, super random. It's super hip and really cute inside. Very inviting and fun. And the outdoor seating is cute too. Their black tropical iced tea is sooo good. And they had yummy sandwiches too. read more

What a treat! I was out for my day off in Truckee and was looking for a nice place to go for some tea. I grabbed my phone, popped up Yelp and saw this place pop up with five stars so I decided to give it a go! I liked the location with all the hang out area both inside and out. The entrance was a wall of windows that let a lot of light in. Totally saw it as a place that I would hang out if I was a local. The baristas were cute and happy to help me with any questions that I had. I could see from the selection and use of recycled cups that they were a healthy green choice coffee house. I decided to go with my favorite, a Chai Tea Late, which they said they actually made their own Chai. They worked their magic and I quickly had my delicious and refreshing drink. It was a very pleasant experience that I'm looking forward to visiting again and bring friends along! :) read more

We were looking for some coffee and wifi, and got it here and more! The staff were very nice and the pastry selection was superb. I enjoyed a nutella croissant. Fabulous coffee, food and goodies. The chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies are to die for. Really, they are. I'd post a photo but I ate them too fast They now have a second location on Donner Pass Road with tons of parking. Beau is a fabulous barista--he made me a custom "Cubano" that I'm still savoring. Emily is a wonderful, fabulous young lady at the register --and I bet she knows how to make the perfect drink as well. I'll be back tomorrow. read more

Love the taste of the coffee here. "Nutty" would describe it nicely (with no reference to Austin Powers at all!). They always offer great gluten free treats and regular treats for my kids. Cool coffee shop to visit in Truckee, popular in town. I like the art all over the place, the wood used on the tables and the wall displaying the Coffee Bar name. Good service, Lavender latte and coconut latte, were to light, needed to be significantly stronger. Veggie breakfast burrito, tasted fresh and the ingredients worked well together. I just have to take away a star as I've been here now a dozen times and my drinks just aren't consistent. Sometimes the lavender latte is on point, sometimes its watery. Sometimes the cashier's are really friendly and sometimes they are super distracted, even on their phones right in front of you. I still think its one of the better places to get some coffee and a little breakfast around Truckee, but I can't give them 5 stars. read more

Yum! I ordered a mocha and a sausage breakfast burrito - both we delicious! The mocha was one of the best I've had - not overly sweet and perfectly rich.
