Love, love, love this place! If you are looking for a place to have a casual meeting, study, or just enjoy delicious coffee/food, definitely stop in Coffeehouse Five! Right off the bat, I was greeted with such friendly staff awaiting to fill my order! Admitting that I was a "first-timer", the worker enthusiastically explained the possibilities of their menu. They can make pretty much any of their products hot, cold, or frozen; the only exception to the frozen drinks are those that involve peanut butter (understandable, I feel!). I chose to order a Frozen Caramel Macchiato and would do it again in a heartbeat! It was, honestly, one of the best coffee drinks I have ever had! Not to mention, it just looked amazing! I also ordered the Broken Yolk Grilled Cheese sandwich and LOVED it! It was made fresh and served hot with a side of popcorn. Being pleased with both the things I ordered, I highly recommend them and will likely have them again in the near future! The drinks are great, the food is yummy, and the atmosphere is so inviting. I caution that there is music played throughout the entire place, so if you are not productive in that kind of environment, it may be best to hold off to try it when you can purely enjoy the experience! Upon arrival, I was initially turned off by the exterior. It was not what i expected and it didn't really look like a cozy study environment. Turns out I was wrong! It was so cozy and the coffee was fantastic. Coffeehouse Five had a variety of really interesting coffees. They even had coffee with chocolate and peanutbutter. I did not try that but I have heard it's fantastic! I had a caramel macchiato and LOVED it. I also had their banana bread and was blown away. They even warmed it up for me! It had a delicious subtle cinnamon and honey flavors. They also had a decently full menu. They had a lot of sandwich choices for lunch as well. This Coffeehouse is also really interesting because they are "for benefit." their net profits are donated to the community. They focus a lot of their energies toward marriage and marriage counseling. I would have to learn more but it seems this coffehouse is very much rooted in religion. They have actual church services in the coffeehouses. Despite this, they seemed to do a good job of not forcing it on people who want to come and simply enjoy coffee. I will definitely be returning here often! read more

Customers can purchase a cup of coffee for someone in the community--a neighbor, civil servant, dog walker, or anyone who might need a little boost. Once you buy it, a Post-it note is added to a community board, and anyone who comes in can take a note and redeem it for that prepaid cup of coffee. It's a simple but great way to brighten someone's day anonymously, because you never know how much one cup of coffee might mean to someone. During my visit, I tried their Latte of the Month, which featured caramel, mocha, chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and sprinkles. It was a fun drink.

Same owner as 1823 Bakehouse in Franklin, so you know the coffee and matcha is going to be good. I had a matcha latte with honey and lavender and it was perfectly balanced. Not too sweet and the matcha was the star. While I got mine to go, this would be a great place to meet someone for breakfast or lunch as they also serve some bakery items like açaí bowls, juices and sandwiches. The decor is fun, with literary vibes and there are some cool artwork on the walls too, including a mural. Loved chatting with the owner and the barista working the front counter who advised me on what flavor matcha to get. I will definitely go back to try some other things!

With the new branding, I figured I'd visit again & stick to juices. They quickly became my post-yoga stop on weekends. I would have went before work on weekdays but they aren't open early enough for that. Today after I ordered I was warned there were a few orders ahead of me. That knowledge before ordering would have been more helpful. Normally a 5 minute wait or so, I was guessing a 15 minute wait would be reasonable. I went outside listened to 3 songs, back in, still no drink, went back out- 2 more songs, back in, still nothing. Ordered at 11:15, drink was done at 11:51. I think good business would have been upping my size for free, or a coupon, or even a thanks for your patience. A simple, "Thanks," while kind enough, caught me off guard. Any gesture to recognize that wait was unreasonably long would have sufficed. The juice was still delicious, I can't lie. I don't know if it's staffing (2 employees on Sat. morning- no Now Hiring sign tho) or what, but if you are in any kind of time crunch, I'd probably avoid the wait. If you are on vacation time- by all means- go enjoy their offerings. I realize it's what comes with a small business, but also something to recognize an unusually long wait would also be a small business quality. I'm disheartened by this. Greenwood is very slack on fresh juice options, although I saw an Ever-Well going in on 31.

They also have a wide variety of ice cream, coffees, pastries and a small market area with local goodies that you normally have to go to Indianapolis to get. I also had a brown sugar shaken espresso, which hit the spot after my meal. They have a holiday drink menu which is not advertised online, so I'll have to stop back in to try something else. Coffee is from Tinker, a local Indy roaster. This would be a great spot to meet friends for brunch, dinner or an afternoon coffee.
