    Iced Horchata Latte

Such a great spot in/near the Gaslamp district. They have the best horchatas in the area. The burrito is delicious as well. Wish we were able to come by more often!

Aloha latte is my favorite! I love visiting both locations! Service is great and always so nice. If you get a chance try the turkey jalapeño cream cheese croissant! Soooo delicious!! Place is spacious with plenty of sitting and good music!

Today, we walked in and noticed that empty tables were not bussed. I ordered an açaí bowl with the honey and granola on the side. I liked that the meal was clean and healthy. I also liked that there was free WiFi for me to work and enjoy my meal. My partner stated that his coffee was good quality so I'm giving this 4 stars.

    Iced Aloha Latte

I went today & had the ice Aloha latte. It was delicious. The only thing I wish it had a little more ice since it tasted warm than cold. I will definitely return & ask for a little more ice next time. Also, it's very clean and pretty inside & outside. All lot of places to sit as well. The service was good as well, didn't get rushed to order.

Good spot to get food and a drink for those working in the area. There is plenty of seating, and the ac is turned up. I got a chicken sandwich with red peppers, red onions (raw), hold the tomatoes, and goat cheese on toasted sour dough. The sandwich came out and it was half off the bread, so a fork was retrieved to assist. The chicken was shredded, and I think poached first. A tasty but messy lunch.

    Cucumber Avocado Toast, closeup

The rose honey latte and ambiance were good, the cucumber avocado toast was so comically bad I'm writing a review. Underripe, plasticine slices of avocado sitting between bread and cucumber slices. Inedible and horrible to the point of being funny, but also $13 that could still be in my bank account. Effervescent. Don't get this. Also to clarify: the barista was very nice and all the drinks we got were good, and she let me replace the dish with a chocolate croissant.

Coffee and muffins were great. Service was friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Overall a bit expensive but likely comparable to other shops. Parking is confusing -- be careful. I paid $24 to park for coffee and a muffin.

I been going here since I moved. I live the ice pistachio honey latte! It has bits of the pistachio sugar on the bottom, I don't even khow they make it, but the bottom of it is my favorite part. The service is really good, the staff is nice and takes the time to get to know you. One of the gals knew my order lol. The location is cute, they have outdoor seating in the front. You'll see people bringing there laptops and working. It's downtown so just be alert of the homeless.

Chorizo breakfast burrito is so greasy the grease has soaked through and made the burrito translucent. It's just a greasy sloppy mess.

The breakfast burrito was so soaked in grease it made it nearly inedible. The coffee was pretty good.

Nice place - wasn't busy at all when I went. Good selection + many options for breakfast. I was skeptical about their matcha but it tasted great!

The Worker (?) bagel--egg, cheese, and smoked turkey.

Our trip to San Diego includes trying new coffee shops. Coffee N' Talk is close to our hotel and has great reviews so we popped in for breakfast. We were not disappointed! Coffee is five-star for sure! W had an almond milk latte, and I had 2% cow since they didn't have non-fat (What?! In the land of the fit and thin beautiful people?!). They roast their beans here and do a fine job. We each had a breakfast bagel--husband had the egg, cheese, and smoked turkey on cheddar jalapeño and I had the veggie on Asiago. Both were good. W's egg looked a bit dry but he liked it, and mine could have used some seasoning. But overall, a good breakfast. Nice place for locals--very dog friendly. Has indoor and outdoor seating. And the pastry cabinet was hard to pass by! The croinuts looked amazing!

Great alternative to Bux in downtown San Diego. Espresso drinks taste fresh and strong but not bitter - just how I like it. Service was very good both times. The vibe is very basic. The only downside is the high prices.... Recommended!

Iced Tea, Latte, Iced Caramel Macchiato
    Sarah G.

i stopped by coffeentalk for a late saturday morning breakfast with some friends. we were able to order quickly and everything came out with ~10 min. the iced tea was good, and i liked that they had multiple blacked tea options. the latte and macchiato were also quite good. the food was good and hit the spot. nothing special, but we always love the classics. we had the açaí bowl and a BLT!

For the near locations you can find the Coffee N Talk close by and close by the many busses.

This is such a cool spot…read more I love a good coffee shop, even more so when they have more than just coffee. Easy does it has simple but delicious beverage options including coffee, matcha, hojicha, pastries and open face bagels. All delicious. But in addition to that, they also sell plenty of packaged goods like a copious amount of high quality take home coffee beans from some really amazing roasters, matcha and hojicha powder, snacks (like shiso sour cream popcorn), spreads, and tin fish. The shop itself is huge with plenty of seating and tables, making this a great coffee date spot or remote work location. Their branding is really cute and unique which adds to the overall vibe. We even experienced a cool pop up on the weekend when we first went! The service is also really great. Everyone is kind and helpful and the wait it never too long.

It is a TRAVESTY... that I haven't yet written about the…read morecoffee shop I've dedicated my life to over the past year, because... well, like I said, you will always find me here! OVERVIEW Come for the equally balanced, delicious coffee AND matcha drinks; the spacious work setting; the side entertainment (like a free bookshelf + camp chairs outside), and incredible ownership. Be prepared for hard parking during peak hours (lunchtime) and possible lack of seats (especially during schooltime). DRINKS It is RARE to find a shop whose matcha is on par with its coffee; normally, one is better than the other. Easy Does It, or EDI as we affectionately call it, is pro at BOTH. With coffee served from Provecho, matcha from Nami and hojicha from Paru??? You just hit a trifecta of GOOD good. Our Typical Order: 1) Iced Earl Grey Latte - omg, I LOVE the earthiness that the earl grey syrup brings to the matcha. Matcha, to me, is either too grassy or too sweet; the earl grey syrup makes it a perfectly earthy balance. 2) Honey Cinnamon Latte - how good could a standard coffee shop latte be, you ask? They have the HCL at almost every shop, and it's not usually standout. EDI, again, blew expectations wide open. Their HCL is balanced: sweet without being saccharine; and you can actually taste the cinnamon. 3) Hojicha Latte, Hot - omg, there was a time when I ordered almost one of these A DAY. Again, another sleeper - if you like the taste of coffee but can't take the caffeine (for a late night drink, perhaps), a hojicha is a good choice. It has that grounded taste that coffee gives, and the hot version of it is like a HUG for your mouth and stomach. They also have cool inventive flavors like the Matcha Cloud, the Coconut Cream Cloud (which is a coffee cloud on top of coconut water, I hear it's refreshing), so you'll never get tired of the drinks they have here. I also want to mention that they do serve wine and beer, too... so there's something for everyone! FOOD Spend any time in a coffee shop and know... you're gonna get hungry! Thankfully, EDI has open-faced bagel sandwiches AND pastries here, all of which look mighty tasty; all of which I cannot partake in, since I am gluten free. But ohhh, gluten warriors unite! Thanks to the partnership that is Jacob of Made for Mei Mei Mochi (aka the protein mochi) and Easy Does It, you'll have your PICK of 5 different flavors of homemade, chewy, ooey, DELICIOUS MOCHI -- SANS added sugars and preservatives you normally find in the store. I'm telling you, I don't normally like mochi (it tends to be so sweet) but I love the texture. And Made for Mei Mei hits it all! Flavors include: 1) chocolate hazelnut -- which tastes like Ferrer Rocher, yum 2) ube 3) green tea / red bean 4) black sesame 5) pb&j (yes, he's stocked peanut butter & jelly, a fan-demanded flavor) My favorites are #1 and #4; sometimes I go for #2 and #5 to mix it up. Either way, I spend WAY too much on these tiny li'l treats I might as well become an early investor. AMBIENCE This place is perfect for computer work as light doesn't directly fill the whole space. I like a li'l shade when I'm staring at a bright computer screen. There are two rooms: front and back; the back is a li'l darker and more chill vibes than the front. I also appreciate that they have a free bookshelf (just replenish it with your own!), plus a few magazines scattered around (for decoration, but I still browse). I miss when coffee shops had analog media, especially for when we don't want to be glued to our screens. EXTRA CREDIT Easy Does It also offers their shop as space for community events. From mahjong with No Ambition Tile Club to wine and jazz nights IN SUM THANK YOU Easy Does It ~ Grace, Nancy, the sister I haven't met, Eugenia, and the entire team ~ for creating a lovely third space where I can work, enjoy my snacks / drinks, meet friends and co-work, and have a great conversation. You make it so easy to feel welcomed, and I'll forever be grateful for you :)

I love the habanero bagel, it's one of my favorites, but just be warned it is very hot. Definitely don't eat it without something cold to drink. They also have a breakfast sandwich called the San Diego which is a favorite of several people I know. You chose the bagel you want it with and they add fried eggs, bacon, cheese and aioli. I highly reccomend it. I've not had a lot of their deinis, but i did order the cinna-bee which has honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk. I thought it was good and would order it again. When I arrived, they had a long waitlist for inside seating but we got lucky because there was a table available outside. I didn't see any heaters outside but it also wasn't cold when I went. I will say up front, that it was a bit on the pricey side. One onigiri was $8, but it was a huge onigiri. We also got the Neapolitan noodles, and wow, it was so delicious! This thing that impressed me the most was their gluten free noodle options! It did not taste or feel gluten free, I had to double check with the waiter. Plus they didn't not charge extra to substitute to the gluten free noodles and I am grateful for that. Lastly we got the hot tea pot to share and it was so much tea! It was delicious. They served it with a tea candle so the tea stayed warm the whole meal. I really enjoyed this place, definitely check them out.

We got the karage chicken, it was very flavorful and the breading was light which I liked and it didn't taste too oily. The curry was super good, the meat was tender and the curry sauce itself had a little spicy kick in it but still super flavorful. Also we got that huge tuna mayo onigiri which was like super sized but it was $8 so yea. It had a lot of tuna and it was packed really well. I was so full but the dessert looked amazing.
