I have been a customer of Coffman's for23 years. I have always had top notch repairs from the service department. Service advisors Mark, Dave and now John have gone way above and beyond making sure everything is done right with my 3 vehicles. I have never had an issue with any repair. Now I recently needed major repairs on my '99 Tahoe due to an accident. Jason, in the body shop, went out of his way to make sure everything was done right. It took him a long time to find all the parts for a Tahoe that old. I knew going in it was going to be that way from my own experience in the past and Jason let me know that ahead of time. The paint repairs to the body and mechanical parts was way better the I expected. This was my first time using the body shop. The truck looks like NEW!! Horrible service. Took my truck to the repair shop for a repair. Problem was never repaired. They kept digging and $3000 later, truck still not repaired. What a terrible first impression. After making an appointment online and receiving confirmation from Dan Eckard for a recall service. I arrived on time at the right date. The service manager was a bit rude to me when he said the appointment was not in the computer. One would think with an online system that they talk to each other. I was wrong. The email promised work done in 35-40 minutes and now I am told It might not be done at all. What a joke! I will never come back for service. If I have to call to confirm the email. Avoid this place if you want to do any inspections of your truck or limo. The old guy that does the inspections knows it all and takes his time and then will kick you out five minutes before it's break just to show you he's the boss. And he had a bad attitude when asked why not tell me your break comes up at 3pm so I can decide whether or not too wait? Instead I waited through 2 inspections and I go to pull in he said nope it is 5 minutes before break so now you have to wait even longer. His manager was not all that interested in helping. Note did not have my inspection here so there are no sour grapes due to a bad inspection report. read more

When I finally did get my truck back I noticed they had somehow scratch my drivers side window tint in several spot which was installed 2 weeks prior. Send us pictures and we'll make it right. Took my 2014 GMC Acadia here for service after the horrible experience I received over at Fox Valley GMC in Saint Charles which is where I had purchased the vehicle "CPO". I was having issues with the light bulbs flickering on and off so i took it to the Fox valley dealer they said it was the light bulbs. I denied the service since I did not want to pay $700 for two light bulbs. So I purchased and installed them my self come to find out after 4 different sets of light bulbs its not the light bulbs so I contacted the service manager at Fox Valley. He was extremely rude so I contacted GMC Corporate office they said I could take it to any dealer I chose so I took it to Coffman. Best decision ever. Dave took care of us! He was awesome extremely knowledgeable. They kept the Acadia for two weeks but we got a loaner. Turns out that it was a bad ballast and fox valley damaged my fuse box!!! My warranty covered all of it. Dave took his time to explain the issue and what the techs did. Would definitely recommend them for any GMC Vehicles problems. They even did like a mini car detail inside and out with out us asking. This was the first time I left a GMC dealer happy and with out any questions. Thank you guys! read more

Purchased a minivan from Coffman's. started to work with Dale, who was pleasant and professional. Then I had the unfortunate experience of having Alan take over. He was rude and a liar. He lied about my trade-in radio being an aftermarket (it wasn't), that it had far too high of miles ( it had the same as the car I was buying), and lied about the condition. After 2 hours of needless argument and getting up to leave 3 times, my initial offer was accepted and I bought the minivan. Alan's sales techniques also included such gems as, "be a man!", and, "what if I throw in this Xbox video game. Needless to say, I won't be going back and don't recommend this dealership. I have had an airbag recall since last year and I finally had it fixed thanks to the wonderful guys here! They were polite, answered all my questions, and were incredibly fast getting my car fixed! I highly recommend them to anyone. I had tried several dealerships and mechanics places all around when I first got the recall notice. One place was supposed to get back to me after I called and never called me back about the parts like they said. I called back and it was a disaster trying to getting it all straightened out as to why no one bothered to call. Then I find out no one bothered to even order the parts like I was told over the phone. So i tried other places and was actually treated pretty bad and most were very rude surprisingly. So I just gave up trying to get my car fixed. But I know how unsafe that is so I decided to take a chance once another notice came in. The notice this time had Coffman Truck Sales listed as a contact to bring my car into to have the repair done. I called and spoke to several very professional people and now having been there and had my car fixed I am super happy with the experience!!! I worked with a salesman at Coffman, Alan and will say it was the best experience I have ever had. I gave Alan specific details as to what I was looking for and although I had a lot of question about options for leasing, Alan was always patient with me and offered me recommendations that made me feel comfortable while making final decisions. As long as Alan is around, when my lease is up, I will have no reservations in returning as a repeat customer. I just purchased a used Equinox from Coffman's and felt the need to post my review. After visiting several other dealerships and going through the dreaded games I set out to get my own financing and happened to see the Equinox on their website. I contacted the dealership and got a response right away. Alan assisted me with going back and forth regarding the finance company that I was going to use. I showed up for the test drive, fell in love with it. There was ZERO pressure which was like a breathe of fresh air after our recent experiences.
