I recently purchased a 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA 35 from Napleton's Aston Martin Downers Grove, and I can confidently say this was one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. My salesperson, Margaret Puzanowska, was absolutely phenomenal. From the very beginning, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making the process smooth and enjoyable. Buying a vehicle out of state initially had me a bit concerned, but Margaret completely put me at ease and made the entire experience fun, fast, and incredibly comfortable. By the end of the process, she truly felt like family, and I will absolutely be looking to purchase future vehicles with her. The finance department also exceeded all expectations. They secured me an exceptional interest rate that blew every other dealership out of the water -- hands down the best financing option I was offered. The worst experience I had!! Me and my friends are looking at the Supra with intention to buy. The initial impression is already bad since we are young and they treated us like dirt even though we are fully disclose that we are on the market looking for a car. We tested drive and everything but at the end we could not agree on the price, which happens. As we are leaving, the GM made hideous remarks at us and asked us to pay him $50 for the test drive and threatening us to not return. He also made remarks about his employee, the salesman that helped us, that he wasted time on us. I have never seen a level of unprofessional and disrespectful from a person before. The way he treated a potential customer and his own employees say a lot about this dealership. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will advise anyone to stay away from this. read more

The initial engagement started okay and went downhill fast. I was in the process of buying their Ferrari California 2011 last week. My sales person was Kevin F. and the GM was Perry G. We all verbally agreed to terms of sale and I wired the deposit to Kevin. Perry Galecki agreed to split the shipping fees from their Downers Grove location to Southern California. Perry said "we have a deal"! Oddly enough and extremely rare, I posted the picture of my newly (almost) purchased car in a Ferrari forum as I was excited about the color combo. The previous owner HAPPENED TO be in the forum and saw the picture and disclosed that it had some damaged undisclosed in the dealers report (hit a deer, broken into, Transmission light on frequently and CarFax. I brought the detailed information to the sales team assuming it was a surprise to us both and asked for a PPI (more in depth inspection report). All I needed was until yesterday (1/27). The GM agreed via text and I schedule the PPI inspection for Monday am. Later on that same day (Sat at COB), Kevin said the car was sold to another party who brought in a cashiers check and took it out from under me. The GM Perry, went back on his word, never called me back and left Kevin to deliver the news to me (via text). Now the new owner is driving around with damages to the car that they were unaware of but the dealership knew because I brought the damage to their attention. Given the circumstances, the only ethical path was to allow me to complete the inspection and instead, sold it behind my back. I had no intentions of backing out, I just want us to all know the facts. I gave this situation 2 days before I wrote the review because i would rather have a live conversation and explanation. I left 3 messages/emails for the President of Napleton Dealer Group, Eduardo but never heard back to have a live conversation and resolve this but now its too late. This was a very poor judgement call from the entire sales leadership at Napleton's Aston Martin. read more

Hell NO! I would not recommend to my worse enemy. This place is a rip off. They sold me a 2023 Grecale and less than 30 days it needed an oil change. Its been almost 90 days and the plate is not registered to the car. They are unorganized. They are rude. I drove 5 hours from Michigan and when i call to get this straightened out, they keep transferring me to voicemail. BUYER BEWARE! They are incompetent, rude, and unprofessional people. Sold us a $230K DBX and BRAGGED about their service department. Well, yesterday after just 6,000 miles and a year old, they TRIED to charge me $1,700 for an oil change and fluids. In November 2019, I returned to Napleton's Aston Martin/Maserati to look at a 2017 Porsche Cayenne S with 25k miles and 2 years left on the Porsche warranty. I met with Norbert Sobotko, the same salesman that my dad worked with. He was very knowledgeable about the car. I ended up agreeing to purchase it. As a repeat customer, they took great care of me and we were able to craft a deal with extended warranty and excellent financing that I am very comfortable with. The car did have two bad fuel pumps that were recently replaced under warranty. That was a slight let down, but by no means their fault. Otherwise, this car has been amazing and my experience with Norbert and Napleton's Aston Martin/Maserati has been second to none. I don't hesitate to recommend them. read more

Purchased a pre owned Jeep Grand Cherokee from Vittorio and received top notch service during the purchase and in the business department as well. I originally left a 5-star review of this dealership when I purchased a 2015 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid. As it turns out I was completely lied to by both sales and finance. I have never purchased a warranty/insurance policy on a used vehicle. As it turns out I have also never been as gullible as I was when I was talked into purchasing the warranty during this purchase. I was completely lied to. I was told everything was covered including dents or specifically rim damage if I ever had any. I was told the rims alone were $2,000 ea, so it "would be crazy not to purchase" the warranty. I was first lied to by sales then told the same exact lies by the finance person. Two weeks after purchasing the vehicle one headlight started flashing then went out. It was filled with water, which I am told was a recall issue on some of these models. As it turns out the insurance company refused to cover it because it was "water damage." No kidding it was water damage. It was a faulty manufacturing and a seal that allowed the water to get in. It wasn't in a flood or damaged at all. Faulty manufacturing should be covered. I suspect the cost of replacing the light mechanism was more than they were willing to pay. Is there a way to argue the ruling? NO! They are judge and juror. After several calls to the dealer and no return calls I gave up on the situation. Cost $6,000. Less than a year after the purchase the radiator blew out and left me stranded on the side of the highway. This time they also refused to cover the repair because something must have flown up and damaged the radiator. I can understand this decision except for the fact that sales and finance both told me things like this would be covered. Remember "dents" and even "rim damage." At this time, I wrote an email to the dealer and the sales manager immediately called me to discuss the situation. He told me that he understood my concerns, he would investigate the matter and call me back. That call never happened and I was left paying for the entire repair. Is there a way to argue ruling? NO! Again, they are judge and juror. Cost $4,000. Now a little over a year after the purchase, the air suspension compressor seized up and it is also getting an high voltage electrical changing control system fault. To fix the electrical fault a $8,000 control module needs to be replaced. I was told that the insurance company would pay this $8,000 "if replacing it fixes the problem." In other words, if I am "lucky" that is the only part that is causing the issue. If that and an additional part is bad, then I need to pay for this part and they "might" pay for the other part(s). As for the suspension compressor, they are refusing to pay for that repair which I assume cost $6,000 because the total repair quote, I was given was $14,000. Their reasoning for not covering that is because there is some corrosion on the OUTSIDE of the compressor therefore, moisture must have caused the compressor to seize. Never mind the fact that the service center says they are not able to take the compressor apart to see inside and the insurance inspector obviously was not able to see inside either. As the service manager stated to me, most parts of vehicles get corrosion on them, but that doesn't mean that causes parts to fail. AGAIN, is there a way to argue their ruling? NO! Yet again, they are judge and juror. My only recourse was to call Napleton Maserati and ask for assistance. Just as before I continue to call Napleton Maserati over and over and over, as suggested by the warranty company and Porsche dealer. Unfortunately, the callbacks have been few and far between. Even dealer managers are not barely available or do not return my calls. At this point they have nothing to provide as a solution. Potential cost of repairs $14,000 The lies sales and finance told me have cost me a potential $24,000. Nothing like throwing good money after bad. I have learned my lesson. The customer support and follow up have been nonexistent. NEVER believe or deal with Napleton Maserati and Aston Martin. I certainly am sorry I did. read more

When I called him after and said 'wtf', the GM said "no car is sold until I have the money". There was not one question that she did not know the answer to. She is also very straightforward and tells you the good and bad. Assertive and smart but not too sales; I loved her approach. Perry Galecki and this automotive group are crooks, plain and simple. Perry and I had been working on a deal on an Audi A7 starting Monday the 22nd and was just ended today by Perry calling me telling me he had sold the car out from underneath me even though we had an agreement that Thursday and Friday that Bank Of America was overnighting him a check (since I live in Dallas Texas). Phill signed for that check Saturday but Perry claims to have sold the car that morning before the check had arrived. I asked Perry 3-4 times if he would remove the advertisement of the car so that something like this wouldn't happen since he'd already given me a bill of sale and Bank of America had already approved the loan but Perry said he couldn't but he "PROMISED" (what a joke) that he wouldn't sell it out from underneath me. I'm really hoping the proper people see this and can fix this situation. I have paid for this car, the dealership signed saying they received payment, I have the bill of sale. BUYER BEWARE!!! I started negotiations with Napleton's Aston Martin of Downers Grove the beginning of May of 2023. After unwanted and uneeded back and forth, on May 18th we finally came to an agreement on the vehicle that I was in search of and was turned over to a different sales representative (that's another story). I drove 2hrs and did the deal, putting down over half of the purchase price in cash and financing the remaining balance. I was then informed that the dealership would be handling title work and registering my new vehicle since I was from out of state and due to financing. I patiently waited till June to call back to the dealership inquiring on my registration transfer and was turned over to the title clerk Marguerite. She stated that she was going to next day me a VIN check form which had to be completed before she could submit my paperwork to the state. This I found odd, because this should've been given to me and explained during my purchase, not after I've waited a month wondering what was going on. I did in fact receive the paperwork the next day as promised and immediately took it to my local DMV for VIN check. I then returned it to the title clerk in the provided self addressed next day air envelope. Called the next business day to verify she had received and was told yes "I am submitting it as we speak". LIES!!! After waiting patiently again for another month, called back and was told that the state was running behind on processing title work. A couple weeks later, called again and left message, received phone call from GM stating that they appologize but I had given the wrong pay-off for my trade by $600!!! NOT TRUE!!! I still have the texts between him and we also called the credit union to get a 10 day pay-off in the F&I office as I was signing paperwork! (After speaking with credit union, looks like they transposed pay-off and amount owed). Here we are 3 months and 3 payments later and as of next week I will have a car that cannot be driven due to not being registered. Today I sat on hold awaiting Marguerite to answer her phone for over 45 minutes. NOTHING! I then called back and spoke with a sales manager (did not catch his name) but he stated that he would call me back within 15 minutes. 4 hours later...NOTHING . Left a message with the receptionist and explained my frustration, she stated that she would pass my info along to "Connor". I did receive a call back from Connor who stated he knew nothing about this ordeal and would look into it. I then explained that I've heard this line before and that if something isn't done, I'm left with no choice other than to obtain legal counsel to get to the bottom of this mess. Connor's response was " if you are threatening legal action, theirs nothin I can do. We will get you the paperwork as soon as we can". VERBATIM. And he HUNG UP!! Very unprofessional establishment, especially for the caliber of vehicles that they represent! I understand that all businesses have their bad days, however.....when you receive text messages from a former employee letting you know that they are no longer with the place due to (and I quote from the text as i write this review) "very unprofessional and not organized", this speaks volumes!!! **Service Department Update** I'm not sure if this place has undergone several ownership changes or has P. Diddy syndrome*, but at least one thing remains consistent - the stellar service department. I got a recall notice about an issue with the passenger side seat belt harness that Saab would fix free of charge. Normally, I take an issue like this to the dealer by my house since I know it won't cost me anything, but my car had also been experiencing this weird rattle every time I hit a sewer cap or pot hole (so every 10 seconds); concerned that a tire might fall off or something worse I made an appointment at True. Since they couldn't guarantee me a loaner this time, I made arrangements to hang out with my mom for the afternoon. When I dropped off the car, they listened to my explanation about the rattle and where I thought it was coming from and gave me an initial diagnosis. They never called to check in about the status of the repairs and an estimate, which seemed odd but when I called they told me I could get my car at 3. When I came back for the car, I was told they were washing my car; it seemed to take forever, which made me antsy and a bit concerned about how much this might cost me. I forgot all of my worries once I found out ALL of the work was warrantied (aka free), which I was not expecting and saw how clean my car was. They washed, vacuumed the inside and tossed all of the meter receipts that littered the floor! The downside of owning a Saab is that there are only a handful of Chicagoland dealerships; I can't speak for the sales side of this business, but to me it is totally worth the drive to have a place I trust work on my car. Bonus points for not treating me in a patronizing manner or like I'm an idiot because I'm female. * In the 6 years I've been bringing my car here it has gone from Gartner to Downers Grove to True! read more

Then he began getting mad at the salesman that introduced me to him saying he needs to screen these people because he doesn't have time for and i quote "fucking bullshit" then he said i have to make an appointment to see him I asked him how to I do that and he rudely says through my secretary as he throws he hands up. Then he begins swearing again and I asked him not to use that language and he said he can say whatever he wants because it's his dealership and tells me to get out and never come back. Buying a car and finding the right dealership is never easy. Are they being sketchy? Am I going to get ripped off? You can read a million reviews online and some will literally scare you to pieces. I outright refused to go visit a couple dealerships that had bad reviews even though they had the car that I wanted. Here was my situation: I was car-less in a very car-centric town and basically needed a car right away. I had my mind made up that I wanted a specific limited edition car and searched until I found the one via True Car's website. I read the reviews about True Car and was quite disappointed about their service, however, the VIN of the car was listed, so I did a quick Google search and it came up that my perfect car was at Napleton's Aston Martin in Chicago. My first thought was, it's a luxury car dealership, so they must have good customer service, right? But their customer base is probably wealthy and and I'm by no means rich and I'm also not buying an Aston Martin. I'm buying a Fiat, which probably ends up being change for the dealer after the sell... I decided to reach out anyways via their chat online service. Steve Miller, their brand ambassador called me a couple minutes later and took a video of the car for me. Take note: I do not live in Chicago, so this is an out-of-state purchase. I was then surprised to find out that they do not negotiate the price or work off of commission, which frankly gave me more confidence that everything is transparent. The entire process was incredibly simple and Steve was so attentive to all my questions (pretty sure he was sick of all my texts). Many people warned me against buying a vehicle without testing it first, but he assured me that their service dept. had inspected the car and that it drives. Great! Wait, I can put my deposit down on a credit card? Yup. My interest rate for financing is only 6%? Yup. You have a shipper that you already work with that can pick up and bring the car to wherever I am? Yup. There was a miscommunication regarding the arrival date of the car and I asked for a discount - not expecting anything but they came back with a discount and my overall payments were actually lowered. 5 stars all around: amazing customer service, friendly attitude, easy to work with. One day, if I can afford an Aston Martin, I know where I will be purchasing it from. read more

Bad experience here! Not honest, try to twist your story when explaining the issue!! Brought a used Audi and was TOLD and showed a 21 point inspection sheet (or what ever they call it) and it clearly showed that the oil was checked and good! It also pointed out that all tires were rated a 7 "on there scale" and the rear right was warn more than the other three. So after leaving the dealer Im 10-15mins away from my home, the oil light came on. I immediately took it to the first jiffy lube to get the oil checked and changed. I relayed this to the sales person then she got the sales manager involved and the first thing he said was, "well since you got the oil changed I'm not taking the car back!" Then went on to say the car's oil was never checked or changed (AFTER I SEEN THE 21 POINT INSPECTION RESULT SHEET). Furthermore, I didn't ask you to take the car back! I was just pointing out your BS! As mentioned multiple times, once my mechanic look over this car on Monday, and if there's major issues I will execute the lemon law rights. Oh and by the way, this has nothing to do with an oil change (check with counsel if you are confused)! read more
