This is an updated review. My initial visit wasn't great but it's gotten better over time. I met Peyton today. She was sweet and kind. Her customer service was on point. Give Coldstone Creamery another chance, I'm glad I did read more

The Ice cream is delicious. I tried it for the first time. Now I know I can get good ice-cream closer to home.

Disappointing experience -- not what I expected from Cold Stone Creamery I came in really excited to try the seasonal Halloween Choco Taco -- it looked so fun and festive online. But when I asked for it, the employee just pointed me toward the refrigerator and told me to grab one that had already been made. I was honestly surprised because I expected it to be made fresh, like everything else at Cold Stone. When I opened it, the waffle was soggy, the color wasn't even orange like advertised, and it tasted old. I kindly asked if they could make me a fresh one, but she said it was already "fresh." It definitely didn't taste or feel that way. I ended up spending about $40 overall and left feeling really disappointed. I was looking forward to a fun Halloween treat, but instead, I felt brushed off and let down. read more

This is not the Cold Stone I'm accustomed too. There's no greeting coming in the door. The atmosphere was cold, pun intended. The ice cream is super soft and the customer service is not the greatest. The 1st gotta have it he made was topped with whipped cream that was old because when he applied it to the ice cream it came out like water, runny. I told him that's no good, it's old. He proceeded to go in back and retrieve a new container of whipped cream. Once he returned he proceeded to put on top of the runny whipped cream. I told him I'm not eating that nor am I paying for it. He tossed it out and made a new one. I'm praying I don't get an upset stomach because the whipped cream he used looks like it's beginning to curdle. I'm going to save myself a night of misery and toss this ice cream in the trash. By the way, the cake batter doesn't taste like cake batter. I will not be retuning to this Cold Stone. Be Careful! read more

As promised, I told my kids after Easter we would go check out the new ice cream shop. We aren't new to cold stone but cold stone is new to us here. They have a large selection of ice creams as well as one made with almond milk and a couple flavors of sherbet. There appears to be a couple new and learning employees but the man who may have been the supervisor or manager was helpful and was guiding them. He actually came out after we left because we left one of the frozen Peanut butter cups on the counter. There's not any tables to sit at in the store but there are tables outside around the corner. The inside is clean and new. The prices are high, but a once a while treat is nice. We bought one large shake, one love it and a peanut butter cup from the freezer, it was just about $25 with a tip. The online ordering through google is more expensive, in case you are wondering. There is also a frozen yogurt place across the walk way and they have other options. read more

Service is subpar and on last visit they did not have proper container which I feel shorted me the correct amount of ice cream and the mixins they should have put in was half the amount. I fought for years to have a cold stone back to Apple Valley but so far the business has not impressed me. read more

They need to wash hands and then put on gloves . Not sanitary for serving food items .

I had a great experience here tonight. Good service, very polite. I think the gentleman prepared the wrong size initially for one of my ice cream orders and he immediately took care of it and corrected it. This place is the worst Cold Stone I've ever been to. Horrible customer service! They don't acknowledge the customers, I had an argument with one of the men there because of how rude they are! I don't care if this is the only cold stone in the high desert, this place won't last if they continue with their lack of customer service skills! Their waffle maker section was also very dirty. This place was so messy yesterday. The guy making waffle bowls was using his hands to squeeze the shape. Then I saw one of the works sneeze into his hands, walk away for one second through the back area door and come back wiping his hands with a towel but the sink was out by the ice cream so he either used sanitizer or didn't wash his hands. there were all kinds of waffle cone shreds piled up on the counter. And honestly it was just super gross and sad to finally have one up here and have it be so bad. read more

Very messy location, it's a new location, but everything was filthy. Our ice cream was more like soup. Last time I had Cold Stone (not in the high desert), it was ice cold. It was so soupy, I had to wipe our cups after the staff handed it to us, got it all over my hands and shoes, so thanks for that. Just seemed like the staff was rushed.
