The people who work here aren't helpful at all. They don't even seem grateful for the tips they're supposed to SING for. Talk about poor customer service. The lot of them seem like they hate their job and can't wait for their shift to be over, if that's the reason, then why even bother showing up? One of the servers didn't even want to help out the little kids behind me, which seemed to me to be ironic since little kids LOVE ice cream. I recently ordered a cake here for my girlfriend's birthday. My order was for the cake that feeds up to 15 people - almost $40. Included in the ingredients was supposed to be YELLOW cake. Once we got to the venue and began to cut the cake, to my surprise, it was CHOCOLATE cake instead of the yellow cake I had paid for. Naturally, I was upset and called the store right away. Keep in mind it was almost 11 PM, the store was about to close and I was on the other side of town. The young lady who answered the phone apologized, took my number and said someone would call me the next day. After not hearing from someone I called the store again. The person who answered the phone again apologized, told me I would get a refund and gave me the number of a manager, Aisha. After speaking with the manager, Aisha, she indeed acknowledged the mistake and indicated she should have called me to clarify before making the cake, however, informed me that she wouldn't give me a full refund. She said she could only give me 20% back. So let me get this right, you give me CHOCOLATE cake after I've paid for YELLOW cake and then tell me you won't refund my money?? What kind of business ethics is that?! I would have gladly brought the cake back that night, however, the store was closing and the cake was already melting by that time. The manager should have stood by her work and given me the $40 back I paid for a cake I didn't receive. If you want a small ice cream order to go I guess this is a good place. On the other hand, if you have a special order BEWARE and be sure to double check it. If you run out of a product, why is it so much to ask that they post that they are out? I waited in a 25 minute line and then when I get to the front and try to order it, they are out! When I asked the worker, Nar, why they didn't post a sign she rolled her eyes and snapped that they "just ran out." (Doubtful considering I was in line for almost 1/2 hour.) Then they have five workers on staff but only 2-3 on the floor? The line is out the door and they are joking with the people in the back and just generally screwing around. Not cool. Crappy service. I did not get a chance to grab his name, but I am thankful for what he did! Awesome deed that will not go unseen! I wanted to go to Ben and Jerry's across the way, but they were closed for renovations... (just to give you an insight into my ice cream preferences) One por kid was working alone when I came in, with a line 8 deep. 20 minutes after I arrived, 4 of the people in line left due to the wait, but I stuck it out, knowing that my ice cream desires lay just ahead. I had a chocolate dipped waffle cone rolled in coconut as my vessel. Sweet cream ice cream with coconut, praline pecans and Heath bar. (Weird combo I know, but not the point) It cost me about $5.50 which was fine. The waffle cone was flavorless and the chocolate/coconut it was dipped in was supposed to be dark chocolate but tasted like weak milk chocolate. The sweet cream ice cream was okay, but not actually very sweet. The add-ins tasted as I expected but the flavor all in all of each as just lackluster. I would have been better off skipping ice cream and not eating at all. The lone employee was very friendly and worked really hard to get through all the customers, and earned an entire star all for himself :) read more

Funny... living here for almost 7 years and I never tried before despite some very good comments. Service was awful - for service i would give 1 star, but the flavor was a GREAT surprise - even I - not particularly fan of chocolate things on ice cream (particular taste - not an universal lead) - really enjoyed brownie and fudge on my Founder's Favorite. You know... I will try to find a better location (closer to my house there is one...) and I will continue my tasting... I enjoy coming to Cold Stone, especially when it's for their Chocolate Shakes! Their so delicious, must try. First time coming into this location this year. As for this location; when I walked into the shop, there were napkins on the floor, crumbs on the tables and the floors were dirty. The teams stations (where they mixed topping and icrecreams on top of) looked so unsanitary. I was happy that I wasn't getting an I cream scoop with toppings. Came here with my best friend because our craving for ice cream at the moment was immense! I had the mint chocolate chocolate chip in the "like it" sized which is Cold Stone's small size. Mine was made perfectly. Mint and chip ice cream (I'm sold already) with fresh soft brownie and warm fudge. It was to die for. I asked for extra fudge because who doesn't love that right? The store was clean, the ice cream was good and the employee ( I believe at the moment was working alone) was super nice and kind. The ice cream is a little more on the expensive side but it's definitely well worth it if you want some good extra ingredients mixed in with your ice cream. I would definitely come back! Cheers! I literally just had just had a horrible experience across the way at French Crepe Co. So I come here and the 2 guys working were so friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there and help the customers. Looks like many other cold stone's you might expect to see, with one slight exception I think they have corporate office in town. Soooo when they have an experimental flavor this is where they first try it out... #Funfact I was impressed with their flavor selection, they definitely have more options than the average cold stone. But through & through I am a Banana ice cream kind of guy. I tried a couple flavors I hadn't seen before, Oreo creme filling & Marshmellow. I switched it up and got Banana with cake batter and brownie with caramel. The Brownie can be hit and miss depending on location.... this one was AMAZING so moist and mixed in perfectly. The guy who made my ice cream mixed it up, I asked him to do more mixing, I like it well mixed. He was very amenable and said sure no attitude. Rings me up, I left a $1 tip. IMMEDIATELY after both of the guys got hyped and both sang energetically (I've left tips at other locations and employees seem to not give a damn or sing under the breath/mumble sing). Basically if you are in the mood for good ice cream that you can pick your mix-ins and you want a good experience this is definitely your go to place! I showed them the email confirmation they went to the back and couldn't find it. Then they told me to just get one from the front fridge since they had no order for me. The guy working behind the counter clearly didn't want to do the "tip tip hooray" when receiving my tip. I said "that seemed forced haha" as a way to make human connection, you know- a joke. Like the kind humans make to each other to lighten a clearly tense situation. Then he looked at my friend and I and said "we close in 10 minutes and there's a line," like we had wasted so much of his time while he had his coworkers making everyone's ice cream and ringing up customers. I live down the street, and tonight my little brother and I walked over to Cold Stone and arrived at 10:25 and were told they weren't taking any customers for the night and asked us to leave, even though they didn't close for another 35 minutes. I'd understand if we came in 10 minutes before close, but with 35 minutes left and only a few people in line that's just turning away good money. Give me a break, but this type of establishment is not for the healthy people that is for sure, and i am not the healthy type of course. Not even yogurtland or pinkberry are healthy when you add everything but red meat. I enjoy going to Cold Stone but is because the ice cream is good and mixed in a easy way or custom mix. I have been to this place about three times and every time i have been there, there is something about the staff, not sure because they are young and they seem to not care about customer service, and yes, they are only mixing and giving out the ice cream, but geez, you are getting paid for it, at least smile a bit, a tiny smile. The only thing i really dislike about Cold Stone is that they cheer when ever they get a tip, really, save it and just say thanks... Ahhhh I'm torn, I love cold stones! This location is so frustrating though. They never sing when we tip. The last time I was there literally put the icing on the cake. I ordered vanilla ice cream, bananas and chocolate fudge, but instead i got cake batter ice cream . It was disgusting!!! Literally the worst experience ever. Went in today or my daughters birthday to buy her some ice cream, we were waiting in line and some couple comes in a cuts in front of us, so I politely asked her if she was with the group in front of us and right away she starts getting super loud and crazy with me. I remember how when this place first opened, the line was always out the door. This place took a lot of business away from Ben & Jerry's. Then Pinkberry opened recently and took away business from Coldstone. Oh, the irony. I prefer this place to Pinkberry because they serve good ice cream and it is less expensive than both Pinkberry and Ben & Jerry's. My favorite is the cheesecake ice cream with Heath bar mixed in, and Heath bar mixed into ice cream is so good! Ben & Jerry's may have better ice cream, but they are expensive compared to Cold Stone Creamery. If you are looking for good ice cream and love having mix-ins, then check this place out. I prefer ice cream over frozen yogurt any day! read more

Really gross inside!! There were a ton of gnats near the back end of the store, right before you order. The counter top was at least clean however the floor behind had items on the floor that fell and were not picked up. I've luckily never had problems with service, and this time around I had a lot more fun with it than normal. My server noticed my Master of Puppets shirt that I've had for years, so obviously it'd be worn down a lot. We ended up talking about Old School Metal and having a few laughs while I got my order done. I normally never tip but I did anyways when I got my recipet back. ------- UPDATE- 9.24-12 So I know now why people don't like this place... The night shift people there ARE IDIOTS!!! There was a ditsy girl making her own ice cream while still making some for customers, but overall she was the most attentive. Which isn't saying much. And the Shift Manager.. Why is it the Manager is the most useless piece of flesh I've ever encountered??? Now to give back story, I have a sweet tooth like many other people, and I've NEVER returned or gave up ice cream, but this jackass was so not giving a shit making my ice cream that I told him off after I paid because looking at my ice cream, then looking at him just made me lose it and I refused to eat anything made by this asshole. On top of all of this, THIS is how I was ending my anniversary weekend with my girlfriend, that guy is lucky I didn't jump over the counter and show him how much I HATED his attitude. Got the worst costumer service by MILLIE a young girl with a really bad attitude. Her costumer service is poor. My family and I visit this location often and never had a problem or complaint until today. She was rude & disrespectful. If you visit this location just make sure someone else helps you beside her. You go there to enjoy a yummy (ice cream) and have a good time with family and friends, not to receive a bad attitude or watch the person behind the counter making faces and laughing at you as you place your order. Another guy who was there saved the day...thanks to him we finished making the order and took the ice cream. She made us go through a bad time and ruined our night.
