This location is really good because it's sandwiched between the AMC theaters and Chipotle restaurant. However, the store is very small. There are no tables or chairs, so once I got my ice cream, I would just walk out and start eating. This store gives rewards cards if you ask. We ended up here for one of the kids that really wanted Cold-stone so we had to make him happy. This is usually a favorite spot for us but some of the kids wanted to shake things up and go somewhere else but this one trooper wanted to make sure he kept his stomachs happy with the Oreo filling ice cream with M & M and sprinkles mixed into it. I ordered the Oreo cream and added some cookies on top. It was rich and creamy without knocking my fillings out. The fact that the cookies were chopped and added right before serving, makes it extra special. What's more impressive about this place is that Adam T's review wasn't blocked by the Yelp Gremlins. First time visiting a Coldstone Creamery and I had a Groupon so I thought I'd check out what all the hype was about. First appearance was it could I'd used some cleaning. Tables outside were sticky and the floor looked like it could I'd used a good mopping. I walked up and told the girl behind the counter it was my first time and I had a Groupon and had no idea what the process was. Would you guide me through it? Although not unfriendly the look on her face was like..ugh why do old people come in this store. She pointed at the signature menu behind us and on the counter glass and said pick one. Feeling a bit anxious not understanding the gimmick my husband opted for a hot cookie with ice cream off the menu for $5.99. I wanted to be a bit more adventurous as I had heard you could make your own creation. But as the line got longer the unknowing of what and how it all worked I saw the Coffee Signature and it had all the toppings I like. I asked if I could have that with a different ice cream and she said yes. I asked for her opinion and she recommended sweet cream. So that's what I got. I asked for a cone but they were out and she said she could put it in a cup with a kid cone. So I agreed. I grabbed a table outside while my husband paid. First bite I'd say it was a really good ice cream. I enjoyed the flavors of the sweet cream and all the toppings are plentiful and we'll mixed. My handbags on the other hand was sad and nowhere worth the almost $6 they charged. The cookie was hard to get out of the bottom of the cup. There was way more whipped cream than ice cream. It was difficult to eat and would never be something we'd order again. While sitting outside I watched the cashier's. I was a bit put off by the girl who originally served us with her bra straps and off the shoulder shirt and big tattoo on her back showing. I get the tattoo trend. And I know these are the people we will see working minimum wage jobs but it's still a food establishment. Its not an Instagram moment.. Look professional! I think the staff should be wearing shirts that cover adequately and are appropriate for all ages. Especially an ice cream shop! This is not Buffalo Wild Wings or Hooters... Went in last night as I had a Groupon certificate for $10 so went in to buy some ice cream. My total after tax came out to $9.77 but the guy at the register didn't know what he was doing I guess. He added an extra cone to order even though I both didn't ask for it or get it, in the end I had to pay another 50 cent after using my $10 Groupon certificate when total was under $10. DONT COME TO COLDSTONE BURBANK came in and asked for a cake batter shake large SIMPLE. Girl kept asking me what I wanted like she didn't understand so it was clear she was training or something, but how do you ask for someone who isn't training? She struggles to make it kept adding more ice cream then more milk I felt like something was missing but I couldn't remember. Finally she handed me a sloppy messy large cup missing about a quarter of the shake. I asked for a clean cup and paid, and I asked her why it wasn't filled all the way and she said something about room for whipped cream which I didn't get. I asked for a small cup and it all fit in perfectly so I paid for a large but got a small. The girl said it was because it was transferred between cups but if the other cups are empty what happened to a quarter of my shake? I guess this is how they save money. I came tonight to get two ice cream flavors with a topping for each flavor (cheesecake with graham crackers) and (cake batter with yellow cake) on a gotta have it size. The staff / Naila(refused to make it because the company doesn't allow them to serve the ice cream that way. She said that she had to mix both ice creams and both toppings together which in fact seemed absurd. I've come to cold stone for the past ten years without a problem getting the exact same order. She mentioned it was the company's new policy so I left without a purchase because she refused to serve the ice cream in that simple order. She offered to give me the toppings on a separate container which seemed like a lot of work for me, because the whole fun of coming to cold stone is the fact that they blend the toppings for you with the ice cream. She gave me attitude about it and when I asked for a manager or anyone that could serve my ice cream, she simply refused to cooperate and i mentioned to walked out without making a purchase and she could care less. I don't understand why simply serving ice cream should be such a complicated matter. It's sad because i love cold stone and this location is very convenient for me. I left without making a simple purchase because of incompetent staff. I would think that any business that refuses to make a sale on a basic request when the customer has a great attitude is simply bad business. I would continuously keep being a salt and straw customer. It's pretty obvious that the company has a different culture and they appreciate their customers unlike here tonight! They give you huge portions of ice cream, plenty of samples, genuinely nice staff and you never have to go through what I went through tonight here. We were so excited, at first, to go to the Cold Stone Creamery before we were gonna catch our movie. We tried to open the door but the one on the right was locked for some strange reason. After figuring out how to get into the store we took a look at their offerings. They had the usuals and they had a few other newer flavors that seemed interesting. I think one of them was a lemon and blueberry combination. Another flavor was the one inspired by the ugly dolls movie. I think that was supposed to be reminiscent of the old school 50/50 bars. That looked tempting to try. I think they also had a red velvet ice cream. Either way, we didn't get to try any samples. We didn't get talked to even. We were greeted by 1 person who was busy with a customer and that was it. We waited a while in the store but wasn't ever helped. We ended up walking out and that same one clerk, still helping the same one customer, said bye. It was a strange visit and I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. My experience at this location was lackluster. Hopefully it was just my one experience. Going to this location around 7:00pm during a weekday, several items were not available. One or two items being unavailable is understandable (as it happens in a food serving establishment), but it seemed like I had to change my options around four times due to the lack of things available. Additionally, I don't think it was helpful when the staff was consistently suggesting me to go to other nearby cafes or dessert options every time my choice was unavailable. Initially, I wanted to order an ice coffee drink but all three were unavailable as the staff suggested for me to go to the Starbucks across the street for coffee drinks. Then I asked for a smoothie, in which the choices were limited as well - the staff again suggested that I could go to the other ice cream shops down the street.
