Love this local Cold Stone. The employees are always so friendly and super accommodating to my daughters peanut allergy to avoid cross contamination. When I mention her allergy at other ice cream shops, they tell us that everything is cross contaminated and recommend not getting anything, which just breaks my little girls heart. The service isn't that good, there was an employee just standing there while we waited, she made.eyw contact so she had seen us. There was nobody ahead of us but she just stood there for awhile before helping us. The rest of this review i don't believe is specific to this location, but probably just company policy (and quality). First the quality of ice cream is abysmal. Just not very good, the amount of food coloring they use is ridiculous (the pistachio is fluorescent green which just makes it look nasty). The cookie dough ice cream had no cookie dough in it......I didn't get any because of that, so I'm guessing it's just cookie dough flavor. I asked for two scoops (one cheesecake and one blueberry muffin) in a waffle bowl. Two scoops, they kept asking what size, and I said "whatever size two scoops is" it's not rocket science. I want two scoops of ice cream, one of one flavor, and one of another. Two scoops.....what size is that? They should know what size equals how many scoops. The waffle bowl wasn't very good (I didn't know you could actually mess those up), and when she pointed and asked if I wanted the waffle bowl (she pointed at one of the chocolate dipped ones with peanuts, (or at least I thought she did) but what I got was the plain chocolate dipped one, I did comment that I thought she had pointed at the other one, but said it was ok, I was fine with that one. She said she could switch to the other one. I said sure, thinking she would just transfer the ice cream from one bowl to the other.....nope she threw the entire thing away and scooped new ice cream. If I had known she was going to waste it I would absolutely have stated again that it was fine and I didn't need the other waffle bowl)....... the ice cream is definitely subpar, and not that good tasting at all. Again, I don't think this is specific to this location but a company thing. Cold stone is definitely off my list of ice cream places. read more

I am a big fan of Vanilla Milk Shakes, but when they want to charge me $4.50 for a 12 oz shake, well I have to pass. I am not cheap, I am just not stupid. So, I decided on a 12 oz Vanilla Creme Latte blended for $2.50. Thrifty ice cream gives out double the portion for less than two dollars down the street, Dairy Queen gives a decent soft served portion down the street for much cheaper, ralphs and the grocery stores sell gallons of ice cream for the price of it less than their tiny, small, and medium scoops. I understand everyone was affected by the pandemic but prices are getting out of hand and the remodel wasn't really necessary especially in our economy right now. " The Place Was A Little Dirty " We went to the Cold Stone Creamery today to get an Ice Cream Treat, and was a little surprised. The Ice Cream we purchased was the " Love It " bowl which was $4.99 but I asked the girl behind the counter if I could change my Ice Cream and she said yes. She did not tell me that it would cost me $1.00 extra. And it was only Butter Pecan, and I even told her to take out the brownie so..... The Ice Cream was good but when we went to sit down at a table we noticed that the vent under a refrigerator that was holding ice cream cakes was so dirty with loose dust on all the vents, which had to have been there for a long time. One of the girls came out to wipe down a couple of tables, and I called her over to show her the huge dust build up on the refrigerator vents and she looked at me and said, " We just clean the tables" and walked away. Worst. Service. Ever. There is always so many little teens there and they're so slow, or just refuse to work. One time there was a girl who had a chair propped behind the counter and she was sitting there charging her phone and eating. Just enjoying her lunch for everyone to see while the other girls had to get around her and actually work. They're also really slow. If you go in there for a big order, expect the first ice cream to be melted by the time the order is ready. I think it would just be a lot faster if the girls work together on each party and that will eliminate the line. Someone new needs to manage this place and hire a new team. read more

Within the past two years Cold Stone has drastically raised their prices because of competition. (Starbucks recently just did the same on 07/08/15). Because of the price increase it makes it a bit difficult to grab the customized treats I am craving. Easier just to go to a grocery store and pick up a gallon of ice cream for $3. LOCATION: This location is great to grab some ice cream after a movie or once you have got done with shopping. WHAT I LIKE: What I will always always get and recommend is the ice cream cakes. I have never been disappointed with any of those, never. Ice cream cake is a favorite of mine too, and from trying all the other competitors Cold Stone ice cream cakes will remain supreme. MY RATING: Cold Stone has gone from a common spot to a luxury apot within the past coue years. It is great ice cream, there is no arguing there.
