I waited over ten minutes and was not even acknowledged by the Gen Z crew that was running the place. I walked in and was third in line. The first couple in front of me knew what they wanted and placed their order and was in and out, no problem. The next couple had to have been high af... I say this not just because of the mj pajama pants, sweatshirts, hats, earrings, etc. adorning every body part that could be adorned, but because they proceeded to ask for samples of what seemed like every.single.flavor this cold rock had to offer. They'd get their tiny spoons, take a nibble, oooh and aaaah to each other, then wait half a season to pick their next sample. After this went on for about five minutes, another employee shows up and proceeds to just stand there and watch the first employee pass out tiny taste tests to Nugsy McDankBrain and Mrs. PuffMuffin. Just stands there and watches the woman do all the work, while he could have started helping one of the five other parties in line behind the Reefer Twins. I just left. I wasn't gonna pay $8 and 45 minutes for a scoop. To the couple who held the rest of us hostage - hear me out - maybe, *maaaaybe* next time you wanna puff some plumes and go sample every flavor, do it at a time that's not so busy, huh? Maybe??? Think you could do that? Maybe, oh hell, I dunno, look at the menu on the phone you have surgically implanted into your forearm and make a list of everything you want to sample so the rest of us don't have to wait 29 years to pay a ridiculous amount of money for some ice cream that's been sneezed on by the guy who didn't wash his hands after using the bathroom? You don't get to fry your brain and then make the rest of us pay the price. Hope you didn't drive home high after that stunt... heaven knows looking out for other folks isn't on the top of your priority list. I'm scared for when I'm old and this generation is running the nursing home I'm in. I'll be lying in my own excrement while they ooooh and ahhhh over the elevator because they smoked their brains away on their break and can't figure out how to get back to the nurse's station to clock in from the hotbox they just did in the employee parking lot. But I digress... This low review is more about the fact that instead of corralling the stoned ones to the side and helping me out, the other young man just sat there and watched the young woman work, while the line just kept getting longer... and longer... I watched the Capital Tacos on 34 go out of business because it employed mostly Gen Zer's who did everything *except* work while on the clock. My spouse and I stopped at Cold Stone a few days ago, on Saturday. We'd been out and about and wanted a cold treat to cool us down. Service was prompt and friendly. Every time I ever order DoorDash from here the "add-in" it is always forgotten. I have never had an "add-in" added, which I paid extra for. Also, a DoorDash I noticed that the items are not mixed in there just simply plopped together. I am not sure if it's because it's not made in front of you or because the workers just do not care. I always get the cream mix and add peanut butter peanut butter is never there.... I have brought this issue to DoorDash but it's not a DoorDash issue with the delivery driver, it's a Cold Stone Creamery issue with the product request and paid for. Hopefully a manager sees this and makes sure the staff is reading the orders properly. It wouldn't be that big of an issue if it was one time however, it's literally all the time. read more

Among the lazy, negative, just all around terrible employees behind the counter there was one that was busting her butt and actually doing a good job. I was lucky enough to have her make my order, which she did beautifully, and she fixed my husbands order after the 'red-haired' chick with the storm cloud over her head messed it up. And by messed in up I mean she put a half a scoop in a cup, forgot his waffle bowl, and then instead of putting the ice cream in the waffle bowl she just put the paper cup in the bowl. Wtf? I never seen someone work so hard to be so shitty. Regrettably, I did not get the name of the only good employee but she was the only one with blond hair and a smile, so thank you! and I'm sorry you have such sucky coworkers. Cold Stone is definitely my favorite ice cream in the area by far. They have so many flavors and mix ins to choose from, so there's something for everyone! Their waffle cones have a hint of cinnamon (I think?) flavor to them and are delicious. My only complaint is that we don't live close enough to one, but it's always worth the drive! read more

The second time the bowl was missing ingredients, the one ingredient they did add was barely even in there, wasn't even mixed. We were under the impression that this place was open until 10, however, we were informed by the less than cooperative or nice staff that they stop mixing in toppings because they cleaned their stone. Well for the amount of money they charge for their ice cream apparently not only did I just get a pile of toppings on my ice cream but I also got attitude when inquiring about the mass of toppings falling off my ice cream and was informed in fact they are closing earlier soon. I'm sure you hear the saying all the time about terrible service that if 'I could give a lower review I would' and honestly if it was possible I absolutely would. This place is a joke, I am extremely appalled by the 3 young women who were working Tuesday night (May 8). These were the most disrespectful young women I have ever encountered. My fiancé and I walked in 10 minutes BEFORE close and these girls were in such bad attitudes that they were literally rolling their eyes at us for our orders(which were basic orders of icecream they already had) and actually slammed our icecream down on the counter at us and slammed the cash till for dramatic affect. After this was all said and done I decided to sit in the store to watch how they would treat the rest of the customers, not to my surprise they continued to treat their customers with disrespect and would throw side smirks to each other because they found it amusing. I can not believe the level of disrespect these young girls have for others. If they don't want to work then they shouldn't work in customer service or the food industry. I've worked in both customer service and restaurants as a manager and I would never EVER allow my employees to treat customers with this kind of behavior. When I have worked, If our sign says we are open till 10pm then we are open till 10pm and that means if someone walks in at 10pm you still serve them. And let's be real here, it's a lot easier to scoop someone some icecream rather than cook a full meal in the back. Absolutely disgusting. read more
