    Cold stone ice cream
    Hendrik R.

Really ?! I got a small and a medium for my wife & me and payed almost 24$ without tip for some melting strawberry ice which was like milk shake consistence with cookie crumbles and maybe some caramel. It looked horrible and has nothing to do with "cold stone creamery" ! I ordered this upper one and got that from the second picture ! Come on guys - for something like that ? Never ever again, sorry !

Half melted ice cream. This is what they serve you for $10

Buyers beware I do not know why they call this cold stone ice cream when they should call it warm stone ice cream. This scoop of ice cream costed me $10 and it is half melted as soon as I walked out of the store. Think the idiots at the counter should actually use the stone to actually make the ice cream colder than some crap half melted scoops they throw together and put it in a cup for you. This thing has melting all over my clothes. Don't even bother going there.

It's summer and time to go back to Cold Stone and have great ice cream. Cold Stone in Venice is my favorite one. It is right on Washington Blvd. near the beach. Just park and walk. The whole area is fun to walk and on the corner is Cold Stone to reward you for walking a block. They are open most nights until 10 pm which is great for after dinner. They are also open 7 days a week, so you won't miss out. They make your cone for you by taking your ice cream and, well, smashing it and adding whatever toppings you may want. I always have my grandson get his in a cup so I don't end up wearing part of the cone. They have so many toppings that it is hard to get it all in one cone. They have so many flavors of ice cream and you will just love it. The service is always friendly and fast. It is a great start or end to a day at the beach.

I've been here few times already. Ice cream is delicious. Highly recommend it! P.s. even if you order small size, it's huge!

    Brownie fudge something.

The ice cream is alright. The service was pretty good. The thing that made me give this a 3 star rating is the writing on the front window I could not tell if it was graffiti or not. Other then that is was alright.

My friend and I came here after having sushi down the road. I'm big on having something a little sweet after salty. I try to keep it healthy when I can but luckily they had some sorbet flavors and a berry yogurt flavor, which I got. I asked for the kids size and added berries and dark chocolate. It was the perfect size because - just a nice little taste of something sweet. The girl helping me was super nice and friendly.

Who doesn't love a cone or two from Cold Stone? Whether you like it, love it or gotta have it, you will definitely be satisfied here. My go to special is the Apple Pie a la Cold Stone with the apple pie filling replaced with Oreos. Mmmmmmm. You gotta keep the graham crackers though. Try it. Thank me later.

The Ice Cream was really good, and it was a good desert after a dinner I just had at Pier House across the street. There are only a few things that are not: 1) You can only sample two flavors, so you have to be wise like Yoda from Star Wars and pick the right ones. 2) They use plastic sample spoons, and we all know that I do not like plastic sample spoons. 3) They are not allowing their employees to wear sweatshirts, only short sleeves, and its freaking freezing inside !

$84 for an ice cream cake. No way ! For common chain like cold stone that is very very expensive. And offputting as well.

Honey lavender: Steeped lavender petals in local honey, bringing out more complex and herbaceous flavors. Has a distinct light purple color and did not taste like soap like some places that attempt lavender flavors. Hazelnut cookies and cream: Okay, if you think you've had Cookies & Cream, you haven't tried Salt & Straw's Oregon version. Apparently, Oregon grows like 99% of the country's hazelnuts, and they actually use nuts from their own farm for this. It's a coconut cream base with bourbon vanilla, packed with crushed sandwich cookies and this insane hazelnut butter fudge ripple.

The store itself is very small, so there's not much space to sit inside. We just took our ice cream outside and enjoyed it there. I ordered the signature 3-flavor waffle bowl with brambleberry crisp, toasted s'mores, and wild berry lavender. The flavors were interesting and unique, and each tasted fresh and well-made. Portion sizes were reasonable for the price, though it is a bit on the expensive side -- which isn't surprising given the location in Venice. Service was fine, just two employees handling a busy day, but they managed to keep up without any issues. Nothing particularly stood out, but it all ran smoothly. Overall, a decent stop for ice cream if you're in the area. Worth trying for the creative flavors, but probably not a place you'd hang out in for long.

We ordered a crepe assuming it would be around $7-$8 like most places, but were surprised when it came out to $17. The gentleman helping us was friendly at first and explained it was a "very big crepe," so we went along with it. With tip, it ended up being over $20. Less than 30 seconds after ordering, we noticed they had an option with ice cream and asked if we could switch. At that point, his attitude noticeably changed and he seemed bothered, saying it would cost more. I told him that was fine, I'd pay the difference -- at that point we were already over $20 anyway. When we finally received the crepe, it was actually a regular, small size -- nothing like what was described -- and he still insisted on charging an extra $2. We didn't have cash, only card, and as a business owner myself, I know it's not practical to run a card for such a small amount, so he let it go after we explained. The main issues: * Prices are not clearly listed -- customers shouldn't have to guess. * Charging $20+ for a basic crepe is already high, then asking for even more is frustrating. * If a customer wants to make a quick change right after ordering, it shouldn't be treated like a problem -- especially when they're willing to pay. * Being in a tourist area doesn't justify taking advantage of people who may not ask prices upfront. Overall, not a great experience due to pricing and customer service.

First, the ice cream. Every time I visit with my brother and order my usual (shout-out to the Butterscotch Oreos and Fudge!), I am ALWAYS provided the most generous of scoops, often more than enough to have leftovers for days following. The rich, smooth, and creamy texture paired with the familiar yet refined flavor profiles never fails to leave me satisfied and smiling :) However, my affinity for the sweet treats served at this establishment means NOTHING without the team-members that make Ginger's what it is. The team here is consistently warm and welcoming, never failing to ensure every visit is equal parts helpful and hospitable.
