Walked into store with the doors wide open. They were serving people but told us sorry closed and would not let us buy. They had two adults waiting to give orders and why couldn't they serve 4 little boys. If they were closed then the doors should have been shut and locked. Then unlocked to let the people out. But instead they allow it to be open to draw in people only to tell them no. Won't get my service ever. I work in retail and people should no that if it's closed then you don't allow anyone to enter. I recently came to pick up an ice cream cake for my brother and he loved it! I'm pretty simple when it comes to ice cream. I'll be happy with some vanilla ice cream with crushed Oreos. This location is a corner spot inside of a shopping center right off the freeway. There are many other choices for eateries and stores. I can't comment on the ice cream since I didn't consume anything here (I was buying a treat for someone else). What I can comment on is the incredibly high prices and the terrible calorie content of the items offered here. This is not a place to visit when you are on a diet or on a budget. They did have some interesting flavors and offered free samples of different flavors. There were a number of different items to add into your creation. They also offered waffle cones and chocolate dipped waffle cones. Every addition of course came with a cost. On February 27 I special ordered a cake and when I went to pick it up it wasn't even made. The manager did feel bad and returned our money back and gave us a cake from the freezer. The problem is that the manager should have credited my mother's credit card account, not given use cash back. Now we have to pay for a special order cake we didn't get. The cake that was given to us was less expensive than the custom order cake we paid for. I complained to customer service, but it's been a month and I haven't received a response. Mmmmm ice cream. Just typing out this review is making me crave it even more. I've never had horrible service here and I've been here many times, but that's just my experience. My boyfriend and I would always order the same thing but we'll mix it up here and there. They never skimped out on the toppings and so I'll always get lots of brownies and sprinkles mixed into the ice cream. I've even had the chance of trying their horchata drink made with cake and ice cream which tasted so close to the real thing. I believe it was a creation from one of the workers there but I'm not sure if they still serve that. What they now have, though, is a limited amount of frozen yogurt! I've sampled a few and they were alright but I normally don't order frozen yogurt if ice cream is available. Their cakes were pretty good from what I remember. If you like their ice cream, you'll probably like their cake. It wasn't too dry at all, but I think that will eventually vary from time to time. Their shakes were REALLY sweet when the person made the drinks for us, so unless you're really craving pure sugar, I suppose you could try that. read more

We couldn't even eat the ice cream right with out cleaning up the side of the cups , also he barely put any toppings in there I'm guessing since it was almost closing time they didn't want to have to refill . This is my go to location for Cold Stone, absolutely love coming here! The staff is always pleasant and whether I've gotten ice cream or cakes, they have always been delicious and satisfying. I'm a sucker for cookies and cream, and am in love with their cookies and cream based shakes, ice cream creations, and cakes. I also always have to get one of their fresh made waffle cones to go with my ice cream. Most recently, I ordered a cookies and cream cake to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family and it was a big hit. It was gone in a matter of minutes. A great way to end my birthday dinner. The cake decorators pay close attention to detail, not to mention the cakes are delicious. Presentation was excellent and it tasted even better. I always feel comfortable and welcomed when I come here. Everyone is super nice and attentive when taking and preparing my orders. You can tell that they take great pride in their product and service in this location. Parking is plentiful and super easy. Don't come to this place! Basically... Came here for an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday and found out later on that one of the strawberries used as topping was previously bitten and reused... In the trash and we were left disappointed. I contacted cold stone and spoke to the one who served me and told them about the situation and she had told me that she wasn't sure what had happened. Possibly a child had opened the cake, bite it and placed it back in. The strawberry was frozen when I got it home and I left it in the freezer. No one touched the cake as you can see in the picture that the icing is still on the strawberry when I pulled it out. She had asked for my information so that her manager would contact me back to respond to the issue, but I've been waiting since last week for a response and still nothing. My daughter's birthday was on June 29th. You know I'm not the type to leave bad reviews because I see how yelp can effect businesses, but after waiting for a response from management and seeing they couldn't even bother to call to resolve the situation made things much worse. Regardless what you say about how that strawberry was bitten, it doesn't explain why the person writing the message on the cake didn't see it and either switched it out or replaced it with another cake... It seems that either they don't care or they didn't pay attention to the product they are selling to consumers. To me, that's just bad business. I would never come back to this place. They ruined my daughter's birthday and couldn't even call to say sorry. You can keep the $40 for the cake. I haven't ordered the ice cream here yet, but I always come here to get the ice cream cakes for birthdays. Service is always good and friendly. The cakes are a little pricey, but I think it's worth it if you're making a kid happy lol. I remember there was a guy who offered to put a name on it, and I said yes.. He was in the back for a while, when he came out he had the frosting/piping all over his hands and face.. it seemed like he was struggling back there lol.. but the gesture was nice even though he wasn't a pro so I didnt mind that the name was all sloppy. I really hate writing negative reviews, but whatever. So a few days ago, I came to this Coldstone location because I happened to have a Community Discount Card. I gave an employee the card and she thought the card was fake. So she went into the back and gave the card back. She proceeded to scoop out the melted part of the ice cream, and while making it the employee gave me a rude face. I almost overpaid because she purposely charged $7, but it was $5. I told her that, and she said "sorry" in a rude tone. What is your problem? I'd rather go to Rite Aid and get ice cream there. At least you don't have to deal with rude employees there. read more
