Kyle has an amazing energy and he provides an exceptional VIP reception service that you hope that every dealership would provide you. Just what as expected for an appointment visit, great job! Wait time was below the estimated time to complete and Service Advisor, Ernie, took care of my appointment and any related issues were corrected. Customer wait area is sufficient and cool with restrooms nearby, comfortable seats, coffee and water available for free and a tv playing the news channel. Additional seating outside as well, which is shady in the morning and mostly sunny the rest of the day. Additionally, I was greeted by a staff member who greeted me and asked me to wait for my advisor. It's a nice gesture to be greeted and part of what made my visit feel welcoming. All in all this visit was easy and better than expected due to the nice customer service received by all staff members, even Gary, the Service Manager, came out to talk to me a little. As for the quality of the work, I will update my review after 30 days mainly due to the fact that I just picked up my truck Tuesday 10/28/25 so I am currently monitoring the transmission as I go about my daily routines. In terms of the level of customer service? Top notch, I have been going to this dealership for my trucks service intervals for 2+ years now and Ernie and the rest of the staff have this way of making you feel like family, super attentive to your needs and very thorough and very communicative in terms of my follow ups with my warranty and the status of my rig. As for the shuttle rides and vehicle pick up program? phenomenal and super convenient, we can all agree that being without your vehicle "Sux" for the lack of better terms, but the Colley Ford staff makes the process seamless in terms of picking up your vehicle and getting you a ride to and from the dealership, and they do it with a smile and personality :) Gary, the service tech Supervisor was amazing in thoroughly explaining the issues on the transmission replacement and the coverage that came with the replacement, he was also able to consult me on a possible Ford extended protect plan as my truck gets higher in mileage (85K) in order to keep me on the road. Very dishonest service advisor. From the beginning, I repeatedly emphasized that I only wanted the necessary maintenance items, and I did not need any additional services. However, he kept pushing for unnecessary services. A basic 70,000-mile service ended up costing me $900. I told him to remove the non-essential items, and he claimed that he could take off the so-called transmission flush but insisted that the fuel injection service was necessary. Since I lack professional knowledge, I reluctantly agreed to add it. After checking later, I discovered that he had forcefully added a fuel induction cleaning and a fuel treatment on top of the basic maintenance. Everyone I consulted said these are completely unnecessary and highly overpriced services. In the end, this simple 70,000-mile service cost me $450, which is absolutely unbelievable. Why can't the staff here just be honest? As customers, why do we have to repeatedly emphasize what we want and still end up being misled? I don't want to name this particular service advisor because it's clear this is a systemic issue with the entire shop. It's truly disgusting. read more

Tried to set an appointment for vehicle repairs at 2pm Friday (9/5/25). Set everything up online, mind you they have appointments available as late as 5pm. At around 11am that same day, I get a call from the dealership. I was then told that a 2:00pm appointment on FRIDAY means NO ONE will work on my car. I will only be dropping off my car and the appointment is just to meet with the service advisor. I then agreed to the terms and then I'm told, "oh your service advisor is on vacation. He won't be in till Monday". I don't know how the mechanics get paid at this location. But if they're on hourly wages, it must be nice to get paid to do nothing on a Friday . The first time I came to this business/dealership, it was kind of still in the middle of the pandemic and it was a little odd. Very few folks working and just an overall somber mood. This review is for the service department. I was recommended to go to Colley Ford because they had availability for me to bring in my vehicle which had a service light turned on. I dropped off my vehicle very early in the morning, like told to, and was greeted by my service advisor who told me that I would receive some form of update by the end of the day. When I had not heard back by 4 PM, I began to call because I knew the service department closed at 5 PM. No one answered their phone at the service department of course when I called multiple times at 4 PM until finally someone answered at 5 PM just to tell me that their service department had closed -_- of course... when I asked "what am I supposed to do to get to work because I need my vehicle?" this lovely person who answered the phone replied to me sarcastically "you can just pick up your vehicle then". For reals??? Because of this, I had to take uber rides to and from work the following day since I did not have a vehicle (very expensive 150$ round trip) The following day I received a call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up and that the problem was fixed. I was told to come before their dealership closed at 7 PM to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived at 6:30 in the evening, I was greeted by two service workers who told me that they closed at 6 PM and can no longer help me. They recommended that I go inside and speak to the sales department for further help. When I asked the front desk to assist me they had told me "who told you before 7 PM they close at 6 PM who gave you that false information?". Finally, after further discussion they were able to call my service advisor, Who blatantly lied to the gentleman helping me and said "who relayed that information to the customer?" when it was clearly my service advisor who told me to come before 7 PM. after finally getting my vehicle I really just wanted to go home and when I turned on my car, the service light reappeared so after all of this headache and time wasting my problem was indeed not fixed Long story short, these guys will give you false information about not only fixing your vehicle, but also about logistical information such as when they will update you and when are they open and closed for you to to go and pick up your vehicle when it's ready to be picked up. They will lie to not acknowledge mistakes made and gaslight you that it's your fault I have lost trust in this dealership and most definitely will not be returning to get my vehicle serviced at this location. Please make sure that if you bring your vehicle here that you get everybody's name and numbers that are helping you because they will try to cover up further mistakes. And, yes, I did send him screenshots of my call log showing no missed calls from anyone at Colley. Of particular note is Lee's condescending tone in his email to me. One has to wonder how he rose to the rank of Service Director with the attitude he has. I can't believe Colley Ford has this guy in any position of authority. And, I'm not the only one who has noted Lee's unprofessional attitude. At least one other review here makes mention of the same thing in his review. So, at the very least be aware of what you will probably have to deal with should you choose to have your car serviced at this dealership. I have been thinking, of late, about trading in my 2017 Lincoln Continental. That I had bought for my Mom for Mother's Day. My Mom was only able to drive the car for two years before becoming ill. I've held onto the car for over three years since her passing. Though I have been a loyal customer, for over 30 years, of a Ford/Lincoln dealership in Duarte. I wish to purchase my next vehicle closer to home. I recently stopped by at Colley Ford to look at the 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum and ST trim. As I once owned a 2015 Ford Explorer ST. They only had the Platinum on the lot. As the ST was no longer on the lot. As I was leaving I ran into Rocky Lakhani. I told him a little of my story. It turned out that Rocky once worked at the dealership where I had purchased the Lincon. Rocky was never pushy. Even after he knew that I would be visiting another dealership. A little further from Colley Ford. I have yet to visit the other dealership, as I may decide to wait to look at another model that will be coming out in 2026. That is not a Ford. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I am a little concerned about some of the other reviews about the service at Colley Ford. Service is a key item for me. Ed from ford took really good care of me when I went to pick up my new hard top Bronco Outerbanks. It took 2 years for them to deliver, but I will say they kept sending me gifts and updates on the status of my truck. Once I picked it up, they had it dust off, and a full tank. Now I'm Letting go of my youth, because for 20+ years I have been very faithful to the jeep Chrysler family... I went through 3 jeeps, all manual and that's all I loved!!! Unfortunately, there are just so many out there and can't believe they are all pretty much automatic! For a real experienced Jeep girl, a automatic Jeep isn't acceptable.
