Brought my care in to fix my headlights, oil change, and tire rotation. 3 different issues for the 3 things I needed done: 1. They were supposed to just check the headlights and let me know what the issue was before it was done. I was only called after it was finished with the cost of it. 2. I got a quote for the oil change through yelp, but when I got there the price was suddently $25 more expensive, I was told something about oil prices going up. yeah, not since I got the quote the day before. Luckily? the manager heard this from his office and gave me the price I was promissed. 3. Tire rotation? It wasn't done. I put stickers on the tires to verify, though I didn't ask to see if I would be told the truth or not. It wasn't terrible experience, but I don't think I'll be back too soon. read more

I started to seriously panic considering the paint color and where to go. I have taken my previous car to this shop and was not disappointed so here we go again. After a 5-minute look over while I watched, this shop determined that the compressor was fine. All it needed was refrigerant. Run. Please take your business elsewhere. I consider myself a fairly reasonable person with reasonable expectations. Have integrity, do a good job, treat people fairly. Those expectations did NOT even come close to being met after my experience with Steve today. I have a Hyundai Elantra that started to have a throttle when going above 60 mph about a couple months ago. I knew it had to do with the exhaust or converter and knew I didn't have to take it into a shop right away. I ran it on high-end gas and replaced some filters myself to see if the throttle would go away on its own. Yesterday, the check engine light came on so I knew it was time to take it in. I took it to Steve's since he had really good reviews. I told him about the throttle I was hearing and told him to scan the code from the check engine light. Steve called me 1.5 hour later and said that I needed to replace my tires. RED FLAG. My tires were fine. A check engine light does NOT turn on because of tires. He tried to tell me that my tires were not "hitting the road right" and that's where the throttle was coming from. Right then, I knew he was lying. I asked him, "Can you tell me the code that comes up when you scan it?" He said, "Oh I totally forgot about the code. Let me scan it and get back to you." SECOND RED FLAG. How did you have a diagnosis on my car and say it's the tires without scanning the code? He called me back, still trying to convince me it's about the tires and said he needed to erase the code because it'll just go away eventually. HE'S STILL LYING HERE. Finally after some pushing, he gave in and provided me the code. Needless to say, the code that came up is irrelevant to the tires. Again, further proof that he's not being honest. I decided I wouldn't engage any longer. I know he's lying but I've already wasted 3 hours of my day so I'm not going to waste it any more trying to reason with a guy who just lied to me. I just show up to the shop and he's still trying to convince me about the tires. I make up some reason for taking it back, "I think I'll just keep driving it until it's fine" - I was just trying to get my car out of there. Then...here's the kicker...HE WALKS ME OVER TO MY CAR AND SHOWS 2 BIG CHUNKS TAKEN OUT OF MY 2 FRONT TIRES. Now, again, I'm a reasonable guy. I like to assume the best of people. But this just was not right. Those chunks on my tires were NOT there when I dropped it off. I can't prove this but here's my guess as to what happened... 1) He lies to me about the tires being the cause. 2) I ask him about the code and realizes I know cars 3) He feels cornered and has to save-face about his tire diagnosis 4) He slashes my tire, or has someone slash them so that I'm actually forced to change tires. Anyway, I did NOT engage Steve again. Just pointless. Instead, I'm hoping this review helps future individuals avoid this place. Now, I actually have to replace my tires because of it. I just bought new ones a year ago and they're still under warranty, so Steve's plan of getting me to buy new tires did NOT work. Still, I had to spend today getting my tires fixed and still have to take my car to a different shop tomorrow to get the actual issue fixed. Steve, if you're reading this, what you did today was extremely dishonest and unjust. Again, I know I can't prove it, but you know those tires were fine when I brought them in. I don't know what life circumstances you have that would cause you to do something like that, but I hope you don't continue it. It's not a path you want to continue walking. Better to have a business that you can have integrity and feel proud about, than make illegitimate money off of unassuming hard-working people. read more

Full front brakes on my 2015 RAV4 rotors/calipers/ pads. Brakes are pretty straight forward... Any mechanic can (should) be able to replace, so the bar wasn't set too high. I was given a quote Saturday am of $310 and they were done by noon. I will say that the 'curb appeal' isn't going to draw too many people in; It looks more like a wrecking yard were you would contract underworld business. With that said, though, I would take it over a glossy dealership with crappy free espresso and salesmen that are always trying to up-sell you..."say, while we were looking at your brakes we noticed you spark plug wires were grey...". In short, these guys were fast, efficient and inexpensive. I would recommend you give them a try. read more

We had our car repaired here several weeks ago, but then a warning light came on. We called, and Alan said we could bring it in any time, and they would check it for us. (Usually, car places say only first thing in the morning, or they can't do it now, but he made it so the time was what would work for us). When we arrived, we learned there is new ownership, and they made sure we were comfortable while they checked the problem. Within a short time, even though there were other customers also getting helped, they figured out why the light was going on, fixed the problem, reset the warning light, and sent us on our way without charge, honoring the service done by the former owners! Steve runs a great, honest shop. We took my wife's Corolla there to have the timing belt replaced, after the Toyota 'stealer' said it had about 20 miles left on it. Steve took a look and showed us her particular year doesn't even HAVE a timing belt. It has a timing CHAIN, which was perfectly fine and lasts eons! Since then, it's her go-to place for Toyota repairs. More recently I needed some body paint work on my Mercedes SL500. He gave me a super, super deal... sometimes a 'super deal' can mean 'super cheap work' is done, but I trusted him due to our prior experience with the Corolla. Let me state unequivocally that he did not disappoint! The cracked skirt under my front bumper looks like new, as well as my scratched driver's door and side mirror. I went shopping around for a fair price and good honest work for my brakes which needed replacement. My regular shop nearby after my oil change told me I needed my rear brake pads and rotors replaced for a total of $500. They told me that these come together and need to be replaced at the same time, which I knew was not true. I wanted an honest and fair price for what I really needed to have done. I am happy to pay the money if it is necessary but, don't swindle me. HA. This shop was recommend to me by a friend who goes here and what a good choice! First time using this place today. I phoned and spoke to HAIG at 1pm to ask about a muffler issue on a 2016 Charger. He said he could take a look so I took it down. The place was busy so I didn't expect it to be looked at straight away. Within an hour and half he phoned to tell me he had found the issue (hole in the pipe causing a rattle) and to come and pick it up as he had fixed it! That's not the most amazing part...I went to get it and he said "Have a beautiful day" and said it was an easy welding job so no charge! An hour and half from the initial call to me picking it up fixed! They've got a customer for life. I couldn't recommend this place more. Talk to HAIG.
