Professional customer service, good quality on final revealed. Recommended for all your auto body needs.

Further damage was done to my vehicle while in the care of this shop as repairs were being made. Whichever technician had the responsibility of completing the repairs for my car was negligent in prepping the vehicle before sanding/buffering commenced and caused damage to my rear windshield, left passenger door/window panel, and other areas. Upon my arrival, I was told that my car would not start and they needed to jump start the battery before I came, so I was to wait 15 minutes before shutting it off. This prompted me to immediately inspect my vehicle for other issues since it was clear that the vehicle had been neglected while being stored in their facility for approx. 28 days, and that is when I noticed the subpar paint with multiple sand/buffer streaks and other body damage. The owner Fred Gil was not pleasant to talk with and he was very rude when he realized I wanted them to correct the issues that were damaged and done sloppily. He told me that my car looked better than the way it came in as to justify their wrong doing. While speaking with Allstate rep, they wanted me to return the key to the shop and have them fix the issues, while on the phone with them, Fred would not except my key and told me to leave and insulted me on my way out (Allstate rep heard all of this too). And to add another insult to injury, I had to call AAA because my car would not start while parked outside of their shop, I paid approx. $250 for a new battery. Worst experience ever and very stressful event. Stay away from this shop if you want things done correctly.

Coming home from vacation to find my street-parked car plowed into and royally banged up was horrible, but at least the process for getting it repaired with Collision Experts was a painless breeze. Thanks to their partnership with Allstate, everything was easy and streamlined -- no extra steps of having to get an adjuster! Excellent customer service and quality repair work. Will definitely use again.

Thank you !! The boss was nice, informative and helped me. For me over all great the only they didn't show me the car usually they walk you to your car and show you the results. but it was still great. Overall satisfied and would recommend. I had a dent removed and scratches buffed out. Reasonable price. I won't miss the cracking sound my door made before. Don't have a before picture but I do have an after and it looks great. I will be back here if I need anything else.

They responded quickly, were courteous, and didn't try to tack on a diagnostic fee just to take a look. When I dropped off the car, the technician walked me through their process, starting with the bulbs before moving into any potential electrical issues (which I really appreciated.) It ended up being the simplest fix: both bulbs were burned out. They had everything replaced within a few hours. Fair pricing, clear communication, and no upselling. I'll definitely be back for future repairs. Side note- they have the cutest shop kitten. ‍

I had been here once before and had a great experience, so when my car's AT light went on…read moreunexpectedly one night I called them first thing the next morning to see if they could get it in. They said they could and gave me a timeline for working on the vehicle that matched my needs. While I appreciate them getting me in on short notice, they consistently over-promised and under-delivered on when they would be able to work on my vehicle. They were able to diagnose a couple of leaks that they thought were the problem and sent me photos to show me what they were looking at. In the past when I've left my car at this shop for work they sent over a detailed estimate before starting the work, but this time I only received the verbal estimate over the phone. I drive an old car, which isn't worth much, and I did let the person know that I wasn't interested in investing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth. As it was, the two leaks were just over $1K to fix, and I OK'd the work to begin. After fixing the first two leaks, they then came back and told me there was a third leak, which would require a more major repair to the transmission and they would have to have their transmission person (who wasn't there that weekend) send me an estimate the next day. While I understand that it's plausible that the third leak wasn't something they could have originally diagnosed, it felt a bit weird that the photo they used to show me the leak was one of the original photos they had sent before starting any work. If the leak was visible in that photo, I'm unclear why they couldn't have diagnosed it earlier. The added cost of this additional repair definitely tips the scales of worth-it/not-worth-it to repair vs replace this car, so I wish I had had all the information before deciding to make the initial repairs. Unfortunately, despite stabilizing the ATF level, fixing the leaks did not resolve the transmission issue. On a smaller scale, they didn't check or top up the tire pressure, which most mechanics I've gone to have done as a courtesy when working on my vehicle. The day after I picked up my car the tire pressure light went on, and when I checked my tires all four of them had low pressure. It's a small thing, but especially when dealing with expensive mechanical items like cars, the small things matter a lot in creating a sense of security and trust with your mechanic. They did mention that they were under new management since the last time I had been in, which may account for the different experiences.

I usually take my car since it's a Mays Miata roadster to Browning Mazda Cerritos but instead I tried them and I'm glad I did. I'm poor and I watched the budget and Browning Mazda was to charge me several hundred dollars and then some for a break job. I will be back. They just texted me and said that my car is done.!!! Not once didn't anyone mention "hey your car might have some bigger issues". So basically I took it in to get fixed and it came back worst then I gave it to them. Everyone was "nice" but definitely felt like they were hiding behind a smile. No one explained to me that engine failure was a possibility... it definitely seems like some shady things go on here. I took my KIA to them after giving them a second chance because last time I went there for repairs on my Nissan THEY CRASHED MY CAR. (They paid for repairs but still). In short try anywhere else!!

Downey Car Care Center was going to charge an additional $289.47 for a brake caliper that was not needed and an additional $152.10 for a brake fluid service had we replaced the caliper. While Downey Car Care Center highly recommended the caliper, Alex's Auto Repair stated they did not want us to waste a lot of money if the calipers were not the problem. Truly grateful for Alex's Auto Repair prompt responses and amazing customer service. They verified the caliper did not need to be replaced. They simply lubricated our caliper.
