Taking it to an expert auto painter, I was told there are two different paints they used. different on fender then on the hood and front of my car. Forgot the clear coat also on parts. As others said on here can't believe there still in business. They have no skills in customer service and repairs. I received wrong paperwork for the job called twice to get it straighting out. They wouldn't even help me on returning the rental half mile away. Enterprise did though. That's customer service. No personally. Do not give these incompetent buffoons your business. You will either wait forever with no updates, or get an improperly repaired vehicle. -No after-hours key drop. -Surly office manager who plays victim and is always ready with an excuse why the customer is incorrect. -Incompetent office manager & owner. -Car returned with a coating of dust on all interior surfaces. -Was never called when parts arrived. -Was not able to navigate insurance. -Was not able to navigate correct billing. -Entire repair process took 7 months to replace 2 doors. -Communication in general is non-existent. read more

Easily the worst experience I have ever had. They had my car for 4 1/2 months and didn't complete all repairs before they pushed it off to another company without my authorization. The communication was non existent. Even after I complained about the lack of communication, nothing changed. Their attitudes were terrible. Never even apologized for the nightmare this experience was. When I went back a week after getting my car to get paperwork, the office woman went on a tirade about how she was sick of getting chewed out for stuff she couldn't control. It has been 4 1/2 months and my vehicle is still not home. I did get it back and took it somewhere else. I don't understand how a collision shop can't seem to check the frame and trouble shoot the drivability after a pretty severe accident. They don't deserve to be in business. I can't recommend Colonial Collision enough. The side of my car was swiped when someone merged into my lane without looking, and the entirety of the driver's side panel was damaged. I am so glad I found this place! I had the great fortune of meeting and working with John through the process of my repair. Let me say that the damage to my vehicle was unusual and extensive - and John was right there with me along the way with detailed explanation of the work and status along the way. I didn't think I would ever see my car in the condition it was in before the accident - but John was reassuring along the way and gave me confidence that if any repair shop could restore my car, he and the Colonial team would get it done. This is a great place, I called to see what it would roughly cost to have some parts painted. They were very friendly and gave my a ballpark price. I then stopped in and they were just as friendly in person. I dropped off the parts, they were awesome, one of the parts had a plaque on it and they went as far as to remove the rivets hold the plaque to the part and painted the part perfect match to my car They took to time to ensure the plaque was intact and was reinstalled with out issue. They went the extra mile to do it right, the coat was very reasonable. I had shown them a dent I was inquiring about possible getting fixed at a later date. They did not do small dent repairs however did give me a card for a place that does. Well I went there the next day and they did a fantastic job, you would never even know the dent had been there. The only trouble we gave ever had was with a poorly designed hatch door on a 2001 Focus wagon and prone to denting through normal use. Colonial Collision made the necessary repairs without charge. If I could give less than 1 star I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! I had some repairs that needed to be done on my car and called them in January to make an appointment. They let me know that they were booked until a month later. I confirm the appointment in January and show up on the day of my appointment to only be told that they cancelled my appointment and DIDN'T NOTIFY ME! I'm not sure if that's how you want your appointments to be handled, but I definitely dont. They told me they had called my number a week prior to confirm the appointment and did not get an answer nor a voicemail and didn't try calling again. I received no missed call or voicemail so they clearly called the wrong number and didn't attempt to call back, they just cancelled the appointment without a notification! I took the day off of work to do this only to be told that my appointment was cancelled and I can make another apointment for a month later. This is 2 months after I had originally called. Extremely dissappointed in how they do business and how inconsiderate they are of other peoples time. read more

I've gotta disagree with some of the lesser reviews posted. Took my wife's car in on a Friday to get front end and leaking radiator fixed through insurance. Parts were in by Monday, and had the car back by Wednesday. Excellent turn around, excellent work, and was kept in the loop about everything being done. Would definitely recommend to others. Very pleasant experience, and was glad to give business to a local place. read more
