For $23 they'll promise you a timeline of seven to ten days, and then 21 days later after promising communication multiple times without ever following up on it, will finally have your clothes done with poor quality stitching. For the quality of their service $23 is a massive overpay, they act like a $5 cleaner, find literally anybody else in the area to take your clothes if you don't want to be constantly frustrated. read more

All my sport blazers they have dry cleaned or who knows what ! they have shrunk and destroyed the original fabric faded and handled poorly they have a 3rd party cleaners they send em to and treat them like socks put em in a bag smash the chit of them ! oh but they won't pay you for damages this place is for jeans casual shirts never formal clothes they have no pride in there work !! read more

I have been coming here for a couple months. They are friendly and very helpful!! It's great that I can bring something that morning and pick it up later in the afternoon. Recently, we were in a wedding and my daughter needed her dress pressed. Her flight was delayed and I wasn't able to get it there before they closed. I called the next morning and asked if they could possibly do it before noon and they said bring it on in! It was done in an hour! They have awesome customer service, I highly recommend! read more

I had high hopes as the front desk person was very friendly, but I should not have been so carefree. I needed a costume cleaned before a trip, and dropped the item off 4 days before I needed it. They let me know it would take 3 days. I let them know I would like inner stains removed from a handmade costume jacket and that the collar was made of buckram and was not meant to be folded down. When I checked the garment, only one stain was removed and I had to spend the day hand washing the other stain in . That wasn't even the least of my issues to come. I discovered that they had not only folded the collar down like I warned against, but they had completely mangled it, tearing it apart and removed half of my ornamental pieces. It was held together with E6000 on this particular section so it would have taken a lot of force to remove this particular section of buckram-enforced lining from the collar, so it shows someone manually ripped it open. Crazy. They did not inform me of any of this, and I was foolish to expect quality service simply because the workers were friendly. And this is the thing- this wasn't some $200 jacket I got at Burlington. It was a handmade character-specific piece needed for an event on a deadline and they ruined it along with the trip itinerary multiple people were counting on. I'm giving 2 stars because the press job was nice and I'm glad they removed at least 1 stain (which was the larger of the two). They were also on time. read more

Watch out! This place constantly gets things wrong. Ask for a dry cleaning of shirt and they launder it, resulting in damage to a high quality shirt. Take in a high quality suit jacket to remove a simple make-up stain, comes out with faded material at the location. Even worse, every time I go to them for discussion, they deny they did anything wrong and refuse to provide any remedy. Bad work product and terrible follow up customer service. I have many similar examples. Have taken my business elsewhere. I do LOTS of dry cleaning, I know what I'm saying. Stay away from this place! read more

This place is awful for everything other than basic shirts. I've been here 3 times and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because they are close to my office but I'm done. Never again. First time was for a small ditch repair on pants and alteration in dress. They fixed the pants and did nothing to the dress for 2 weeks. When I complained, they said sorry and only have a lady come once a week so if you miss the cut off, it is what it is. The pant repair was done terribly, I had to send it back because the fabric was uneven and caused an awkward fold. Second time I went back they used too high of heat on my suit that left white marks but everything else was fine so I figured maybe it was a one off. Third time and LAST time, I specifically asked them not to leave white lines on my suit and this is what they gave me (see picture. It's like they purposely don't even care or try. I spoke with manager and fortunately he refunded my money for this. I won't be back and warn others from using them. read more

I had an experience last week that was just ridiculous - horrible customer service - just downright rude by a young girl who worked there. If there was an option for 0 stars, they would get it. Dropped off cleaning and alterations 10 days ago. They sent out the alterations but said they didn't understand the measurements. No call to say there was a problem. I show up and they don't have the jacket in store and the pants aren't done. Need it for Tuesday (72 hours from now) No communication when there was a problem. Incompetence when taking measurements. Lost articles in the process. When I called to speak to the manager, they won't give me a number for the alterations place. And the person claiming to be the manager wasn't them because when I came I. Store they said he left for the day. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I have been going to colony cleaners over 10 years have seen a lot of employees turn around, everyone is friendly the sad part is when they lose your item good luck getting it back, and the inconvenience is on you your time your money you will not be reimbursed or an apology discount nothing sad to see a cleaners like this does not have customer service at that time the employees really did not care nor the owner. I would not recommend this cleaners if you have anything expensive that needs to be dry cleaned. read more

Pricing has gone up substantially over the last 2 years. Service is also very spotty and I have had several shirts ruined in the pocket area. $5.39 for each dry cleaned item I always request "no crease" on my slacks and sure enough they come back with a crease. read more

Unfortunately I have to at least rate this business with one star. If I could, I would give it zero stars. I was going to this cleaner for about two years until I brought in my work uniform and they stained my green uniform pants with bleach like spots. When I brought it back to them to ask them to fix their mistake they took my pants and I came back the next day and they did absolutely nothing to them. Went to pick up my clothes after 4:00 pm the girl told me they were not done ,the clothes have not been touch ,and me to come back tomorrow to pick them up,but I told the girl I needed the clothes today,she could not do anything for me to talk to the owner .came in to pick my clothes and speak with him and discuss the problem, and refused to help me or give me any discount. I took my daughters dress in two weeks prior to Homecoming to have altered and when I picked it up the following week it was altered incorrectly and poorly. The owner said he would take care of it and it would be ready for Homecoming. I went it two days prior to Homecoming to find out they did not do the alteration. They unaltered the job they did poorly and Incorrect. Unfortunately due to the fact that they alter the dress than an altered it made the truss nonreturnable and I had to go buy a brand new dress two days before homecoming. I've never had an issue with them doing basic cleaning but they definitely do not do alterations very well. read more

it is amazing that they still have customers. I took some dress shirts in and when I got them back,buttons were missing and I still was charged for the "Service" This wasn't the first time. Not even an offer to replace the button. It seemed like it was extra work that I was putting on the employee by asking about the button and that was really putting him out. The staff is really not into service, but it seems like a place for them to do their homework. I would strongly suggest you find another cleaners.... you would think that such a simple service could be simple, not these guys! Now the one good thing is that I did get a free laundry bag.... and my new cleaner gets a kick out of seeing the other cleaners name on it when I go into his cleaners!!!! read more

I came here the other day and dropped off four items: pants, two dress shirts, and one polo shirt. My total came to just over $10 and everything was ready in less than 24 hours. Not bad! However, upon close inspection when I got home, I noticed that a lot of the stains I'd pointed out were still there, and they didn't manage to clean all the lint and hairs off my other shirts. Considering that other cleaners charge up to $3.50 per item, Colonies Cleaners isn't too bad, but I don't think they did that great of a job on my items. read more

I have a sleeping bag that is in good shape and simply needed washed as it was dusty from being stored and was a little dirty on the inside. I was pleased with the $15 price quote. When I brought it home a few days later and opened it up, it is apparent it was not washed. It doesn't have a clean smell to it at all and in fact, smells the same way that it did when I brought it in and the dirt is still there. I'm very disappointed with them as I feel they just took my $15 and didn't do the work. Don't waste your money. read more

When m husband returned to pick up the Flag; the gentleman at the front counter asked my husband if he was a Vet. My husband told him yes, the gentleman said, "No charge, thank you for your service". I have been using them for a few years now. They are always super fast! I have even called ahead and employees have waited past closing for me to show up and grab items I needed that night (THANK YOU). I have had 1 issue with them only pressing and not laundering an item, however they completed the service free of charge. I have noticed that a button or two has new threading. I assume this is from the buttons falling off and then them reattaching them. I have not had a missed button yet. read more

This is the best cleaners ever! My daughters wedding was at a ranch location and it rained on her wedding day. Her dress was dragged through the dirt and rain all day for pictures, dancing and celebrating. We didn't think anyone could get the stains out and package it up for future generations to wear. The owner treated it on his table for about two weeks and got out the stains and packaged it up for us! I would highly recommend them. Used these guys for three years. They lost me when they couldn't follow simple directions. I had a dress shirt with a missing button. I asked that they replace the button. I didn't ask once or twice, but five times. Me and the one gal in the front (she was nice) even stapled a tag on the place where the button was missing. Still, it was not fixed. After that I complained to the owner and all he did was look at the girls in the back and say sorry. You're the owner, grow some balls and act like one. Taking my business elsewhere. Went looking for a new dry cleaner as the one I've been going to for years has closed. Walked in Asked how much to launder a dress shirt. The rude gal says $1.99. Thought that was expensive as I've paid $1.25 (plus 40% off all dry cleaning) at my old place. Asked her again to make sure I didn't hear wrong. She said Yes , $1.99. Thought I still give them a try. She rang me up and gave me a ticket for $2.59 each (8 shirts) I questioned her. Classic bait and switch. I walked out with my shirts. Oh yeah, and it's $5.99 to dry clean a dress shirt! We have gone to this cleaners for 3 1/2 years, but won't be back any more. They have ruined two pair of my pants with bleach-like stains, they have 2 of our items that supposed to be white into a dingy off-white. So frustrating as 3 of these 4 items were brand new. Was heading over to Albertsons and thought I'd drop of dress shirt that had a stain on it. I went in and showed them the stain and they said maybe they could get it out and maybe not. I told them what caused the stain but they still wouldn't commit to getting it out and grew impatient with me and my questions. I amazed this place stays in business! Its a bunch of young kids staffing the store whose interest seems to be loud music over customer satisfaction. I used the store because of its shirt laundry service (acceptable) but to go through this check-in/check-out process for medicore service is not worth it! I left a white cotton blazer there, with 2 other pieces of clothing. The blazer was important because I was wearing it two days later at a wedding. When I called the Colonies Cleaners, they told me if I turned my jacket in by 11 am, it would be ready by 4 pm the next day. When I showed up at 4 pm the next day, I was told it was not ready, and the employees that cleaned were gone for the day. I was upset because I was told it would be ready. I returned on 2 occasions to speak to the manager. No manager was available. I called on another occasion, no manager. Today, I stopped in, and the manager was there. I told her I was happy to pay for my drycleaning, but they should not tell their customers, it will be ready if it will not be. She told me I should allow more time for my dry cleaning. She told me they do not guarantee the time element for their dry cleaning. Things happen, she said. I will NEVER return to this business! If you care about your clothes, Do NOT go there. I have been using the dry cleaner for years. I am perfectly fine with their customer service and how quickly they get things done. My white work shirts never come back clean around the collar. I have asked them to spray the collar before washing them. They assure me that they will but they never come back clean. It's finally time to find another cleaner. read more
