Meh. I've experienced a lot better. Something unique about Parker, CO is that the pizza places too often like to serve pink crust with cheese on it and call it pizza. I like sauce on my pizza. Colonna's is stingy with their sauce, putting just enough to make the crust pink--no red at all--AT ALL. I've eaten a heck of a lot of pizza in my life, and Parker usually disappoints. You're better off going a few miles to another town. Besides being stingy with the sauce, the quality of the pizza is similar to what you might find in a shopping mall. Certainly not amazing or great, but okay. If you're used to frozen pizza, then this is a couple of steps above that. Well, except that I've never had a frozen pizza with too little sauce. We just ate at Colonna's tonight and it was absolutely wonderful! We have been searching for the perfect New York style pizza and we found it. We loved the pizza crust and the kids couldn't get enough of the spaghetti and meatballs. One of our friends ordered the calzone and it was fantastic. The meatballs here are to die for! The best I have EVER eaten! They are moist, soft and perfectly seasoned. Most meatballs I have tried are tough, rubbery or dried out so badly that you can't eat them. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and I am very impressed! I figured this restaurant was only good for their pizza but I was wrong. I will try their meatball sandwich next time. It is great to find such a good Italian eatery in Parker. read more

Enjoyed this pizza and service for years. They would deliver in the snow and was always kind. Now they think they are the only pizza restaurant in Parker. Attitudes, chaos and bad service. Waited over an hour for my pizza, when I called was told it was on it's way, then they call me wondering why I hadn't come picked it up. The manager gave me an attitude on the phone and acted like I had all night to hear him say the same thing four times. Will never go again and didn't get a refund for a pizza I didn't get. Very bad. Well see i live on my own and i dont weigh 400 pounds and i cant eat 25 dollars worth of food on my own!... i guess apparently they have a 25 dollar minimum for delivery!.. so i told them thats up to them if they want to spend their own tip money that i was going to give them on food for me awesome!... so its either let me buy a pizza thats ridiculously over priced and give them a fat tip that they dont deserve or i can spend 25 dollars on food and not tip them!... mind blowing bad policy and bad for business read more

Good pizza. Like the marinara sauce on the pasta. The garlic knots were tough not soft and chewy.

So I'm a rotund (ie., fat) guy in my 50's, who under doctor's orders is desperately trying to lose some weight. I go to my favorite pizzeria for my ONE cheese slice and a DIET Coke. I stare at the menu and stare at the food display and wish how I could order more and not get fat. I brought my newspaper with me and planned to slowly cherish eating my one cheese slice. Next to me, a thin guy in his mid 20's sits down and gets his food. I saw what he ordered and said to myself, he'll be getting a box soon. How wrong I was!!! I can't believe he ate the whole thing! (think Alka Seltzer commercial- early 1970's): 6 garlic knots, an order of french fries, an order of Italiano fries (fries with melted mozzarella and marinara), and a whole Meat Supreme pizza pie. I was going to ask him how he can be so skinny and yet eat so much, but I have been trying to be a bit less George Costanza lately and I kept my mouth shut! read more

If you are thinking of ordering here, please read this! I'm going to update this just because my girlfriend and I were in recently, and aside from the beautiful aesthetic upgrades, nothing has changed. I am so glad to say that. The owner is just as nice as the first day I met him and he couldn't be running a better establishment. The cooks and cashiers are visibly happy to be working there, and I can say as a white collar manager myself, that's because he genuinely cares about them and gives them a reason to work there. The food is wonderful and pizza is made to order by the pie. By the slice pizza is cooked frequently and heated up in the pizza ovens as needed. Sides are great and, note to the owner, don't ever stop coating them in sauce. I've ordered wings in too many restaurants that seem to spray on the wing sauce with a spritzer. Wings must be tossed is sauce. It is the Buffalo way. The food is the quality it should be. Don't list to the fools that say it's not "authentic Italian". They never claimed to be. The pizza is NY style Neapolitan and the best in the state. Anyone who rates less than 4 stars is too arrogant and picky to publish a well though out review. Go here. For being NY-style, the crust it too thick. The customer service is poor--I had to wait in line a long time just to pick up a to-go pizza, and the two cashiers weren't in any rush. Overall, that's fine--they should give good service to the people they are helping, but an acknowledgement that I was standing for such a long time while they were helping the other customers would have been nice. While I was there I grabbed a piece of tiramisu from the refrigerator box. An hour later when I went to eat it it was frozen! Either they buy it frozen or the refrigerator box it set too cold. I fully realize that they probably buy it from a food distributor, but they need to make sure it's thawed out. This is the third time I've been there because people keep telling me how good it is and to try them again. As far as I'm concerned, they're 0-3 with me. I won't be back. read more

Worst service ever! More than once have we ordered from here and someone there drops the ball. There must be a lack of communication or maybe everyone there has amnesia. We ordered once and half our takeout order was forgotten, and the other time they called us an hour after we ordered to ask US if we asked for delivery (which we DID)! The girl on the phone actually verified with someone in the background that the pizza could be delivered at that time since we knew delivery was not always available. I don't know what's going on there, but we won't be returning. It's a shame too because my nephew is gluten sensitive and they carry gluten free pizza. Too bad, Colonna's. read more

I really do like their pizza and the pizza by the slice lunch specials and would give them 5 stars had in not been for my experience today. I wanted a pizza with chicken, pineapple and jalepinos. The cashier said they could put the extra toppings on a slice of cheese pizza. No problem, paid extra for the extra toppings. My receipt said I ordered at 1:18pm. At 1:45 I took my receipt up front to ask when my food would be ready and the gentleman happened to be walking out with our pizza. I said oh goody we've been waiting 30 minutes and he said "no you haven't". I was going brush the comment off but when he came by our table and asked how everything was I felt the need to give him the honest feedback. I was not looking for a refund. He seemed very combative and I felt he was basically telling me it was my problem not his. I'll be honest at this point I was getting pretty upset. He then said what else do you want me to do? I was not sure what to say.. He grabbed my receipt said if it's a refund you want I'll give it to you, if that will make you feel better. He came back with $14 cash and put it on the table. And this pint I'm pissed off and the money didn't matter. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he had a bad day and they were busy and understaffed. read more

Not only is this pizza delicious, but their meatballs, garlic knots, and salads are also amazing. There is not one thing on the menu I have not tried and LOVED. Everyone in town says that this place has the best pizza. We had 3 personal pizzas, it was a typical thin crust pizza. As far as taste, Id say its above pizza hut, papa johns. The sauce had no zest and the crust was a little dry. The cheese was a typical low quality mozzarella. I do not believe its worth what they charge. However if you want something better than a chain pizza. This is the place. The place is clean and the staff are very nice.
