The shellac manicures last for 2-3 weeks with minimal chipping, The pedicures are the best I've had, I recommend the Spa pedicure if you really want to treat yourself! The chairs are comfy and its so relaxing. Lee, the owner is extremely friendly and personable. She knows many people by name (myself included) and remembers details of your life and actually asks and cares about them!! :) Plus she is the only person i will trust with taking care of my eyebrows. Stay away! These people are not only unsanitary but also creepy and confrontational. Took my niece there for her very first pedicure (she's 5) after hearing that they were kid friendly, what a mistake! They were ok with her but did NOT like that I brought along my one year old niece too. Firstly, an employee walking by bumped into her and knocked her down. No apology and didn't check to see if she was ok. As soon as she went near the nail polish (as any child will do) the owner pounced: "No, no!" And to me: "you have to keep her on your lap". Ok, that will only last for so long. When she knocked over some of those painted fake nails the owner flipped out. He was yelling and jabbing me in the chest with his finger, and when I told him to back up he started screaming across the nail salon. I was shocked. Then, after all this they wanted me to pay THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS to paint a 5 year old's toenails. What a rip. They totally ruined my niece's special day, and for that they suck. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have been to. I have been to a many different nail salons and have gotten gel manicures. I should have know when it's not packed on a Saturday afternoon. Very rude barely acknowledged when I walked in, I was seated quickly then I was again ignored, and when the manicure finally started it was the worst. My nails were barely trimmed and polished, then no top coat! The manicurist didn't even stay between coats and I was given a hard time when I wanted to see a few different colors. They didn't have the painted nails just the printout. I will not come here again. read more

My nails always come out beautiful and my manicure lasts for weeks without chipping. They do a really nice job! I'm an RN and licenced massage therapist. I have never witnessed or experienced any unsanitary practice. I've been impressed with the length of the massage I receive with my pedicure and with the skill set of the staff. I prefer this salon to others because the manicure lasts the longest. Yes, Li does not put the gel all the way to the cuticle... if you do it chips. Is it calming and tranquil? No. Does the manicure look good and last three weeks with out coming off? Yes. that's why I go there. I've gotten pedicures there too and they are solid. I just started going here after trying a few other places in the area and will be continuing going here after my experiences. While Color Nails may not have the most spa-like atmosphere, its always entertaining, and they really do the best work in the area. I am VERY picky about the shape of my nails (I am an artist so it drives me CRAZY when my nails are not completely symmetrical) but I am happy to say my nails are always shaped very well there. Also, they do their best not to do any more damage to your nails then necessary when doing acrylics (especially if you ask for Lee to do them). My polish and shellac always lasts a very long time. read more

The salon is always clean, prices are fair, the staff is very helpful, Mindy is the princess of pedicures, and Le is friendly, smart, efficient, and an excellent manicurist, she really knows her stuff! Rude, unsanitary, unprofessional and RUDE! I never write reviews unless something is amazingly good or horribly bad...this place is the latter. I have been going here on and off for years - the owner Lee knows me because she does my brows, yet every time I come she acts like she doesn't know me. She loves her "true" regulars that come every week, but I only come when I am home for a visit. Not after today though!! First I will start with how they clean their tools which I never noticed until today. They wash them with water in the sinks they ask us to wash our hands in....no steam, no soap...no true sanitary cleaning happening here - disgusting. My mother and I came in for a shellac manicure - at 930am when it wasn't busy and they had 4 technicians on. The last 3 times I have been here for a shellac manicure they tell me to pick a color from the wall - I do - then they say they don't have that color in gel....so I go back and pick another one and they don't have that one either...they don't just have a color wheel like most other normal professional places do. So when I asked "well where should I pick from then it would be helpful for you to tell me" they took that as offensive and made the rest of the time there uncomfortable to say the least! My mom said they were glaring at me the entire time and I overheard the owner, Lee - the rudest and loudest one of all talk about me to the other customer - she's real classy like that. They all talked to each other the entire time screaming over one another - they separated me and my mom so we couldn't even sit together. And out of 4 technicians only ONE was able to paint our nails - which was the owner....the rest of them just stood around - it is a nail salon why would we have to wait to get our nails painted???? I had 3 different people work on my manicure today...and it took over an hour....and wasn't even that good - my mom said hers was painful. WORST place to go....go across the street to Foxy or Tokyo Nails - they are much much nicer and much much cleaner!!! read more

Honestly worst salon I ever went to, when I walked in I was greeted rudely. Then my nail technician didn't even ask how I wanted my nail shape to be or how long. And I wanted coffin shape nails and he kept filing them to square nails which I was extremely unhappy with. Then I asked if he could fix them and he looked annoyed and did a half ass job on them. Worst nail salon ever please save your time and your money and do not come here. They charge more than all the other salons I've been too and they suck. There's only 2 people there who do acrylic nails and they take forever doing nails. I got my nails done here and 5 days later half of them had broken off so I went back in to get them fixed and they fixed the broken ones and the same day the rest broke off. The guy told me it was because my full sets were old (my full set were only one month old and I never had that problem with any other salon I've been to). Color nails use to be my GO TO place, but after this last experience I will be going to a different nail shop! First, the selection of nail polishes are limited. Seems like they have all the "summery" colors only for sale. The ones on the wall were all dark...there was a smalllll selection for bright colors :/ anyways, let's get to my experience...first of all, it's summer! I went on a day where it was about 90 degrees. I go for a pedicure and LAWD Kevin had the water piping hot! Secondly, I have never had an issue with Kevin, but he was off his game. He didn't scrub the dead skin off good enough. When I got home it looked as though he didn't even scrub my feet (and no I don't have Flinstone feet) lol Thirdly, he did my design, which I didn't like and he obviously didn't like it either b/c he called someone over to fix it (which happened to be the owner) and she did a nice job, but didn't clean up under the nail. I asked someone to come clean it up and they did, but not completely. At that point I was annoyed and just left. What a way to waste $40. Not to mention 2 weeks later I developed toenail fungus...thanks a lot Color nails! read more

Color Nail in Seekonk would never be recommended by me. I had the Pink and White Gel Nails, done by Lee(The Owner). Yes, when you go in they act nice, so doesn't every other nail salon. If your saying, THIS is the best nail salon in Seekonk, then I would hate to see the work the other salons are doing, cause LEE (THE OWNER), talks like she knows what she is doing, but really doesn't. I had my nails done last Wednesday(2/16/11) AND I was back on Saturday(2/19/11). The gel looked like it was lifting and I needed a fill already. LEE (The Owner) said she couldn't help it if my nails grew out already, when in reality she didn't do them correctly, but what else could she say. "Oh I'm sorry I don't know what I'm doing!!!". She wouldn't fill my nails in, all she did was file them and put another coat of the shiny gel on and put me back under the UV light. I told her they looked "TACKY!", for only having them done 3 days ago. THEY SAY THEY GUARANTEE THEIR WORK, but they did not correct the problem, they just made them look worse. NEVER AGAIN!, LADIES, if a nail technician keeps saying "don't they look good", "they're nice right" and "do you like them?", BEWARE check them out CLOSELYy, especially under the UV light. Now the shiny gel they put on, is now peeling off! AND Lee said "no one can do pink & white gel nails like me", guess what I hope not! My daughter also had her's done the day before mine and her's are doing the same thing. They looked good for ONE day!. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!! read more

I was referred to this place by a good friend who has been going there for years. Needless to say I will not be going back based on the way I was treated with my children. Did not feel safe there as one of the workers became overly aggressive towards us. Prices are ridiculous. AWFUL place to get your nails done. Workers were very unfriendly and utterly not kid friendly. Would not recommend to anyone who would want to get their nails done. This place isn't what it used to be. My first time going to this salon was fantastic. I had fantastic service, Lee was very talkative and very friendly. It's all gone down hill each time I go in there. They're always in a rush to get things done, and they're starting to get very rude. The pedicure water is dirty and you can feel other peoples skin floating around in there (or something of that nature), they really need to clean those things after every use. They speak in their language and all start laughing, and all that comes to mind is they're talking about me and/or my friend I'm with. So, staff if you're reading this, you need to clean that place, and especially clean your tools... It's gross. Oh and pay attention to what you're doing for me, watching the television every five seconds is unacceptable. I'm a paying customer, but that's right you all don't even care anymore. You think you've got "lifer's" there... well think again people get do get tired of poor service and loyalty won't pull rank anymore. Nail salons are a dime a dozen, remember that. read more

Let me start off by saying I will never go to this nail salon again I have been there a few times and each time I was not happy with my experience yet I gave them numerous chances to see if it was just a bad day that I went in there. I had a Male nail tech Who was pretty nice and wasn't bad at all except he kept cutting all of my cuticles and I left there with my cuticles burning on both hands. My nails are un even and a few are longer than the others which looks really funny. The head lady there "Le" Kept gossiping about other customers and their reviews online and I didn't understand why and then her gossiping made me want to come do my own review for the first time ever seeing as though she thought she was so perfect and all the reviews that were bad that she got were false now I see why she got the bad reviews because when my nail tech was done she came and sat down to paint my nails. When she saw the color I picked she immediately expressed her dislike for the color and when I told her I want the color anyway she all of a sudden said something in her language to her coworker whom she said nothing to the whole time yet coincidently when I told her it was my choice what color I wanted not hers since I'm paying for it and their my nails she all of a sudden said something quickly in her language. read more
