Went up to the cashier and placed my order, the mile high burger. My order was called out so I went to pick it up at the kitchen counter area. The appearance alone proved this burger would not be a let down. So I took my first bite, nice juicy beef patties with layers of toppers stacked above it. Completely tasted like a gourmet burger should taste. A side of thick cut steak fries accompanied my burger which also did not disappoint. Walked up to the counter and was approached by a staff member, doesn't greet me with a friendly smile or so much as a hello. Very cold, unwelcoming individual. I let that slide, we all have bad days. I even left gratuity still. I'm rushed through my order, get home and my son's meal was not as I asked. The I don't want to work today attitude equals a horrible experience and an order made wrong for a very picky child. I have only been here once before and it was a very pleasant experience. I'm not totally sure about this place. It was a nice atmosphere during pre-covid phase and customer service is nice. I like that they have sweet potato fries and they gave a fairly large quantity in the combo order, more than I could finish (which.. says a lot). Burger wise, it was good, on the less saucy side as far as burgers go. They also asked what kind of cheese I wanted .. and I had no idea lol. Apparently they offer the whole gamut of cheese... swiss, American, cheddar, provolone...! So the variety is there which is nice. But as someone else mentioned, I also found the burger to be kind of dense. Like have to use my mouth to chew and I'm conscious that I'm doing it, dense. I didn't know if I liked that. Food is amazing. really, super fresh and hot if you order for here they walk it to your table the only thing is that the two women that work there are so rude and have a lot of attitude but I don't mind the food is great ! It's usually empty here but it's nice and cool with air conditioning they have bathrooms and all it's a nice setting. Ordered the grilled spicy chicken sandwich with no mayo, pepper jack cheese and extra jalapeños. Spicier the better! The order took a little while to get. Picked it up and took it home. I was alone. It was a great clean place to eat at or take peeps to. By the time I left there was a line going out the door. Heated the spicy chicken sandwich up and tried it. It was a little greasy, but super good! The chicken was cooked perfectly and spicy! Delicious! The jalapeños added more spice making it even better! Loved! Colorado Grill is fast becoming my favored burger joint. It's locally owned and run and they seem to treat their employees well. Always a nice atmosphere. I usually go to the other location at Herndon and Blackstone, but this past weekend I had business on this side of town and wanted to avoid the shopping crowds. It's really cool inside, with lots of car-related and 50s diner memorabilia to go with the red booths. The menu is clearly displayed here, on a TV high up just to the side of the counter so it's easy to look over while you wait in line. The staff were friendly and helpful as always. I like that the soda machine has vanilla coke on its own tap. They have probably 10 soda options. There's a bit of a wait here, because they make everything to order. I got my usual order - a bigburger combo with skinny fries and vanilla coke. The "bigburger" isn't actually that large, but you can double up. If you like a bigger burger, the boulder burger is huge. I prefer a smaller burger, personally, so these suit me. The bun is soft and a little sweet, the patties are always well seasoned, and I've always found the veggies to be fresh. I like that they shred the lettuce and dice the onions. The skinny fries are very good, always hot and crispy with a fluffy inside. They also do either skinny or steak fries and either option as chilli cheese fries. If you're not in the mood for a burger they also do a bunch of sandwiches and salads. They make a mean grilled cheese. Recommended! read more

Hands down one of the best Burgers in town! The beef taste amazing and fresh and the sweet brioche hamburger buns go perfect with it! We come here at least once a week or every other week for our Cheeseburger Craving! We always get the same thing, a 2 Double Big cheeseburgers and chili cheese curly fries (must try). Not thrilled with our take-out order. Even though I ordered it over the phone, it took 15 minutes. That wasn't the issue. The food was cold and the bread was hard. My chicken sandwich was WAY overcooked to the point I won't eat it because it's super tough. That's what I get from ordering chicken from a burger joint. Service is always kind and on top of things. We have stopped by a few times during this summer and I do have to say it's a go to place. Why a 2 star? I ordered a BLT. The heart of a BLTs flavor is in the bacon. Unfortunately they served Turkey bacon! The waitress said it's because the owner does not want to serve pork. I'm OK with this because it's their restaurant. But as a customer they should notify me they are serving turkey bacon not pork as it gives a BLT a completely different flavor. Colorado Grill is a decent place to get a burger and some chili fries. I have also had their chili dogs, and they are not bad either. My biggest thing about these places is folks should understand you are coming to a restaurant, that allows you to order, then sit. You are not going to a fast food place. There is a reason for this though! They take their time to make sure each item is prepared as it is ordered. This is special in my opinion, and I appreciate it! So be prepared to wait for your order, and you will be amazed! I've been here a few times recently, so I can't say I remember details about the food, but I encourage you to try something out here. They do the huge steak fries, so of course those with or without chili are very yummy. Place is clean, decorated nicely in the theme, and staff is usually friendly. Called in for take out on a busy Saturday night. I did have to hold for an extended period of time but they eventually got my order in and let me know it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived I was really happy to see all the staff wearing masks and social distancing markers on the floor. They are set up for to-go only and moved all tables so there is proper space to distance yourself from others waiting. All other customers were also wearing masks. We had a big burger, fries, chicken strips and a Vanilla Coke in our order. While the burger and fries are good the chicken strips are absolutely delicious! I also think it's unique they still offer Vanilla Coke and find it to be a fun treat when I visit Colorado Grill. read more

Man... the food is good but this was some terrible service. I came in at 5:28pm ordered 2 burgers and fries. Asked at 6pm what the status was (they were slightly busier than normal) a girl said they're still making it. Asked at 6:30 what the status is and they... had lost my order slip. They did offer to refund me, but I literally had to work at 7pm at the hospital and just wanted my food before work. Took 10 minutes after that to get my food. :( read more
