Called in for take out on a busy Saturday night. I did have to hold for an extended period of time but they eventually got my order in and let me know it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived I was really happy to see all the staff wearing masks and social distancing markers on the floor. They are set up for to-go only and moved all tables so there is proper space to distance yourself from others waiting. All other customers were also wearing masks. We had a big burger, fries, chicken strips and a Vanilla Coke in our order. While the burger and fries are good the chicken strips are absolutely delicious! I also think it's unique they still offer Vanilla Coke and find it to be a fun treat when I visit Colorado Grill. read more

Man... the food is good but this was some terrible service. I came in at 5:28pm ordered 2 burgers and fries. Asked at 6pm what the status was (they were slightly busier than normal) a girl said they're still making it. Asked at 6:30 what the status is and they... had lost my order slip. They did offer to refund me, but I literally had to work at 7pm at the hospital and just wanted my food before work. Took 10 minutes after that to get my food. :( read more

After 3 years this place still looks good. It has been kept up and I am glad. We like to eat lunch here with Daddy during our vacation days. The food is still good! The girl at the counter took our order and was super polite. Our lady cook made those burgers, hotdogs, and curly fries delicious. I love the girl power at Colorado Grill. People love this place. It is well regarded as one of the best local burger places. I have to disagree. It's fine. Nothing is atrocious about the burger, but nothing is terribly great about it either. They compose a fine burger from a truck. Fries are good and orders are ridiculously large. The only things I can specifically point to as problematic are the off-putting bun that is oddly dense (and once a little stale), and the relatively small size of the burger. I'd eat it again, but not seek it out. read more

This place is a CLASS ACT. Our order was cold and missing onion rings when we picked it up, and after speaking to management we realized maybe our time was a bit off when we grabbed the food. Without any questions asked they graciously re made our entire order and apologized numerous times for the inconvenience. I have never seen better customer service before in my life. I understand if they allow us one and if we want extra they charge but they don't do that at all. Burger was okay too much lettuce. Couldn't taste the cheese I paid for to be on my burger. We went in here last Friday and the experience was awful. The price of the burgers has gone up tremendously. I understand food prices are up but their prices are way overboard. Two burgers and fries with a drink is going to run you approx $31 after tax. I get that this is a premium burger but man, $31 for 2 patty's is crazy. I know it's not the same as in n out but it's like 6x more expensive. After getting over the sticker shock I wanted some of their signature spicy ketchup. They now charge $0.50 per little cup of it. In the past they just put it on the tables, which was the reason I go to Colorado grill because you need to load up your burger with spicy ketchup, nope now it's $0.50 per little cup. I asked why is it not on the tables anymore and they said for Covid they don't want to spread germs. Get out of here, they put salt and pepper and regular ketchup on the tables but apparently those condiments are resistant to spreading Covid huh? Just admit you want to nickel and dime people. I mean I just dropped $31 on two burgers but you want to charge me $0.50 per cup of spicy ketchup? Management needs to realize how dumb this comes off. Speaking of poor management decisions, what the hell is up with closing at 8pm. You heard that right, in the prime of dinner time they're closed by 8:00. I guess management doesn't want to stay open during dinner time, why would they need to when they charge $0.50 for an ounce of ketchup. We made it in at 7:45 and they served us. At 7:50pm an elderly couple came in to order right behind us and the workers said sorry you can't order we close at 8:00pm. The elderly man begged that he would order and take the meal to go. Nope, they wouldn't serve them. They walked out pissed and you know how the workers responded? Proud that they told off a couple that had the gaul to come in at 7:50 expecting to eat dinner. They talked so loudly and proudly about it the entire restaurant could hear them gleefully talking about how "stupid" these people were and that they get paid to leave at 8:00pm. No way they're serving people at 7:50pm. Management - fix your employee culture, it's one thing to whisper to your colleagues, it's another to spend the next 30 mins loudly telling everyone in the restaurant how stupid their customers are. if you aren't serving people at 7:50pm then put it on the sign outside. Just had the most expensive grilled cheese ever!! We were charged $10.50 for just the grilled cheese and it was mediocre at best. Menu says $2.99 but he charges an extra $1.25 per slice of cheese and puts on however much he wants (which I didn't ask for, or not want) all at my expense. When we asked him about the extra charges he said "we wanted extra cheese." I simply asked for a grilled cheese and he said what three cheeses would you like... I always drive by this place but since today was National Cheeseburger Day a couple of co-workers and I decided to have a burger at one of the most recognized spots in town. The vibe was great. It gives off that retro burger joint feel with the neon lights and pictures of old school cars and artwork. The staff was curteous and professional. I ordered the Bolder (1/2 pound) with cheese and asked for grilled onions, bacon and a fried egg. It was huge and delicious. You have several options for your side including: steak fries, skinny fries, potato fries, curly fries and onion rings. They also have other food options like chicken sandwiches and whatnot. For dessert, I hear they make a killer shake (I was stuffed so couldn't handle dessert). I will definitely go back when I'm craving an old fashioned burger. read more

The burgers here is not gourmet (gourmet burger means highest quality ingredients and flavor, prepared well and presented in an artful manner - you know like at Eureka!), but it is very tasty and has that classic american burger place feel with its 60's style decor and casual service- no table service, so you get to save on tips. This is not a chain, its actually a Fresno business, despite its name interestingly been called after colorado. Probably one of the best american style burgers in Fresno, it's a better option than a fast food burger and also an alternative if your not willing to spend too much for fancy burger which would cost you $8 and more for burgers; plus portion of the burgers here is huge but not in an unhealthy way, its perfect for a well balance meal especially after gym, due to its high protein content- you can order 1/2 lb of beef burger, while its chicken sandwich comes with a full grilled chicken breast, plus if you like more protein you could also add more. Colorado also boast itself for using non frozen meats, so you could expect their ingredients to be fresh everyday. My personal favorite is the boulder $5.29, its a 1/2 lb beef patty cooked to your liking served in between a nice fluffy bun, with tomatoes, slices of pickles and shredded lettuce. The beef patty is very well seasoned which attributes to its great taste, plus the bun's is very nice and fluffy, soft yet firm, which keeps the burger from being squashed as you grip it in your hand. The vegetable, meat and buns has a perfect balance and packs a healthy punch. The beef patty is also not fatty- maybe in the 80% lean 20% fat, which makes this place relatively healthy for lunch without fries. I also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich for $4.99. The full thick chicken breast was marinated in chipotle pepper, which gave it a very nice flavor and cooked to perfection, the chicken is very juicy as you bite into it. The chicken is then sandwiched in between the same buns as the burger and served with fresh tomatoes and shredded lettuce. The sandwich is really delicious and high in protein. Overall the burgers here is really good and I would return again. I must also mention that they do offer other options such as steak fries and also shoe strings fries, plus also salads and grilled salmon burger. This place is definitely wholesome, very reasonably priced and serves up a delicious good old classic american burgers in the good old fashion way. read more
