When I took the rim to get the tire mounted I discovered small pin hole air bubbles coming from the rim during the water test. I took the Lexus rim back and Christian worked on it again. After the welding we discovered that the entire wheel was completely compromised from the high speed impact from the road hazard. I had a tire rim that became warped. Gave this place a try. I was surprised how clean the place was and with level of service. The repair cost less than expected and they did the work over night (less than 24 hour turn around time). They did very good job restoring the rim. I returned with a second bent wheel problem early April. I mentioned to Wade how I still had the vibration, but it seemed like the right rear, and the wheel I was bringing them was a spare (5th wheel, as it were). The left rear was the previous repair, and I didnt fee anything in the steering wheel, it just seemed to be in the rear. Wade said they would repair it, and for me to bring the car in and they would swap the wheel for the suspected bent one on the right rear. When the wheel was repaired, I came in during the day and they checked the right rear and found a slight out-of-roundness so they swapped it for the freshly repaired wheel and balanced it perfectly. I now have no vibration in the rear. I probably have a slight bit in the front, but that might be due to poor balancing at the tire shop. No doubt in my mind these guys will get the problem fixed, whatever it takes. And they are easy to work with. I highly recommend them. Six Stars if that were possible. read more

Arrived the day before around 430 pm to drop off the bent wheel. Bent during the recent abundance of rain, oddly so, in Plano. A pothole was to blame but the damage was done. They checked it and informed that it can be fixed... pay attention here- this is the time to determine if the wheel is bent beyond repair or if it can be conditioned. I was asked to come back after 1130 am the next day. My front passenger tire kept slowly losing air. Thought it was a nail so I took it to Discount Tire. They said my rim was slightly bent and put some sealant on it which lasted about 2 weeks before the leak started again. Found this place on Yelp. They do their rim repair at night so you have to leave your vehicle there overnight. Called the next morning and it was ready for pickup. For $100, my tire has not lost anymore air (repair was done 12/14) so it looks like they fixed it correctly. Ive been going here for over 10 years. I estimate my spending to be at least over 10k at this place. It's been a great run. There has been some broken tps stems on my rims when I get them back. Didn't say anything. Some chips. Didn't say anything. A cap missing. Didn't say anything. I just rolled with it. Now I know I shouldn't have. 2 weeks ago. Had my Mercedes rim fixed from me scraping a curb. Took the rim off and delivered it to the shop. A few days later I picked rim up. Paid the 100 plus bucks like I've always had and went home like usual. When I took my rim out of my truck and rolled it to my car. I noticed a 8 inch slash in it exposing the steel belt. I didn't put the tire on. I called the next day and was asked to bring the rim back. I drove 20 miles to this spot. He took the wheel and tire and proceeded to tell me about the wear and tear and told me how he hated pirellis and so forth. I don't like them either is what I told him. But it is what it is. He was saying he didn't know if he could find that tire and prorations and crap. And asked me to leave the tire. Then he said go to where I got the tire from and see if I can get it prorated there or whatnot. After that I was like hell naw. I went back inside and told him that the equipment slashed the tire and it shouldn't be like that. He totally agreed. But then proceeded with the wear and tear the tire had. And I told him again. That the tire didnt come in like that. It shouldn't return to me like that. He kept on with that blah blah blah. I left because I know how stuff like this can come to. So I left. brought my Porsche wheels in and they "fixed" them. I test drive the car and it still has problem so I park it and it got blocked in by other cars. I'm like dam I'll take it to a repair shop. well I do that about a month later when I get it out and the shop says your wheels bent. I take it back in and this place is like quit hitting curbs. OK, so after I got new tires and an alignment, my car was STILL vibrating at high speeds. We took it back to Discount Tire and YES, one of my wheels got dinged! We started researching the cost of Lexus IS350 wheels...$300 to $600!!! CRAP!! So, we started also researching wheel repair places. Hubby talked to a place in South Dallas that said it would be $150 to repair, $20 to take the wheel off, another $20 to rebalance...BLAH BLAH! So, we called this place (which was way closer) and they were very professional and up-front and said $125 to $185, depending on the damage. My husband got off the phone and said, "OK, I like them...we'll go there" So, I head out there...it's in an industrial park, very clean and easy to find. One of the guys there took my car back, took my wheel off for me, put my spare on and said "No problem, it'll be $100 and you can come and pick it up tomorrow between 10 am and 5pm" HELL YEAH! I was sooo excited. He even complimented me on my baby car seat (it's a Britax) and said, "Good car seat, I have the same exact one!" I hydroplaned and totally jacked up two rims--both longgggg ago discontinued specialty rims from Japan. The replacement cost was almost 500 each...and only one rim exists for sale on this planet we call Earth. I took the rim to WRS and they had the wheel ready in 24 hours. The shop is very very nice, in an industrial park in Carrollton. Very easy to find, well signed. Johnny and Justin took great care of me, and had the rim looking good as new! I was given a quote over the phone to remove paint and high polish my aluminum corvette wheels for $130 per wheel. I was excited about getting the new shine. I may the long trip to the WHEEL REPAIR SOLUTIONS facility to be told that they don't do this. They can paint polished wheels but not polish painted wheels. I was very careful to be sure and double check that they would remove the paint and polish the wheels to a high luster. Very dissapointed and cannot recommend. read more
