Colossal Dogs & Burgers is just a little hot dog, burger and taco counter order place located in the food court of St. Augustine Oulets. I had a burger and though nothing exceptional, certainly decent enough for what you might expect from a little counter order food court service. As there isn't much of a staff to the place, the wait times can become excessive, as they did with me, when there are several customers. But as it is pretty much a one person operation, rather expected. Though I wouldn't deduct points, the Food Court itself doesn't amount to much. It's clean but has the cheapest of furnishings along with a seriously dated décor. I certainly don't mind the beige color but it would seem like someone went out of their way to bore me with it. And, who wants to be bored by beige. LOL! read more

On my second visit to this mall I walked into the food court area and decided to try this place. Only a couple of the restaurant choices were open and I was more interested in here than the pizza place. I had read some reviews before coming and they are all over the place. Better to judge for myself. Being from Chicago I decided to try their Chicago dog, minus the tomato as I can not have them. I took into consideration that they use Nathan's hot dogs which I have had trouble with in the past. I also ordered fries and a water. I sat and waited for them to call my number. When it was ready I took the whole thing in. While it looked good it looked nothing like a Chicago dog should. I had a choice of yellow or spicy mustard and I went with yellow. The relish was a regular one and the onions were few. They used thick pickle chips and there were 7 sport peppers on it. It did have good flavor and for the price I did enjoy and would order it again. The fries were a deeper golden brown than I usually find and tasted great too. I would definitely go back and try more from their menu as they make a good greasy spoon. The two guys working were not wearing masks or gloves but both seemed friendly. read more

First time trying this place out, wasn't sure what to expect considering the mixed reviews. There was only two people working there, one in the front and the other in the back, think they might've been running the food stand next to it as well. Service was pleasant, food came quick and it wasn't that pricey, $22 for 2 medium combos. The tenders were pretty big, it came with four and a good amount of fries. The fries were probably the best, they were perfectly seasoned. As for the tenders, they were alright. They were cooked throughly so that was nice but the sauce wasn't that good. I'm a pretty big fan of buffalo flavored things and it personally did not taste that good to me. Overall I'd recommend this place and try it out again, but i'd go for something different. read more

I must say that this has been the best food I've had yet while on vacation here. I ordered the Southwest BBQ burger and fries. The burger was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The fries were cooked to perfection as well. My kids had the chicken fingers and grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was perfectly browned and the best he's ever had he says. The chicken strips were juicy and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly. This will definitely be a place I return while I'm down here on business trips and future vacations. read more

I was very disappointed at the selection of restaurants at the outlet mall. There were no good choices. The lady at the cash register for this restaurant was very rude and passive aggressive. The food looked unappetizing and very greasy. The ice cream section looked very old and disgusting. I'm glad I didn't order anything. Wings!!!! Stopped in for a quick bite while at the Outlet Mall. It was awesome. The staff was friendly, helpful and cheerful. Got the chicken wings, lemon pepper. They were awesome. This is one of, if not the very best, burger spots in town. Their prices are fair, especially for the amount of food you're given. The taste is phenomenal; I recommend the bacon cheeseburger but to each their own. I haven't eaten anywhere else on my lunch break for the past couple days, they're just that freakin' good!!! Also, the service is always impeccable. I also want to mention that the wonderful blonde lady thats usually taking food orders (I didn't catch her name, that's my fault) is one of the kindest and sweetest souls you'll meet. Terrible attitude for no reason, slick comments and lady acts like your stupid or something. I ordered something and by the end of my friend ordering I said that I changed my mind and wanted to get something else and she told me it was too late. Great little place in the food court @ St Auggie Outlets. It's reasonably priced & the food is made to order (no heat lamp fries here). I always get the slaw dog....it makes a nice energy boost for a hard day of shopping :) They offer coke products (bonus points for that!!) & beer, so they get points from dh for that :) read more

Current visiting from Tampa and went to the mall. The food court does not have many choices at all so my oldest son and I ate from here. The food was good and service was quick. Placed order. The guy behind the counter verified it TWICE!!! Our number was called to retrieve our order. First, we asked for it TO GO. It was served to us to eat there. BOTH hamburgers were prepared incorrectly. They were covered in condiments and toppings that we didn't ask for/want. We had actually asked for them to be removed. The workers argued in the back about who was at fault and who was going to remake the order. We finally got our correct order. BURGER -was awesome, the cheeseburger was one of the tastiest burgers I have had in a long time. Fantastic flavor that alerted my taste buds and smell with char broiled taste. FRIES- Yes please they are seasoned perfectly and adapts well with the burger, they were crispy and hot and you just can't stop eating them. The fries were a good portion also. I don't know about colossal as per their name! My Cheeseburger and Fries were normal size, other than a hand full of extra fries. The food is ok. Not bad, but nothing to go out of your way to eat. My complaint is with the service. My daughter is 9 and very anti social so we encourage her to order for herself to help with her social skills. Usually we can't get her to but today she was motivated and excited. Almost immediately after she started ordering the lady at the register started rushing her because "there was a line" I turned around to look at the this incredibly long line she was talking about and there was only ONE COUPLE behind us.
