Mark and his wife are always professional and nice. No one can beat his price on gun transfers.

Called to check if it was in stock and was told the advertised price was wrong (they discovered it 2 hours prior to me calling) and it would be closer to $1999 or ""maybe" $1950..I wrote on their comment form about the experience and the answer I received was that they "discovered" the price had changed, blamed the tariffs, wouldn't honor the advertised price and even right now (9 hours after initial contact) it is still advertised on their website as $1799. Really does feel like I'm being played for a fool and they're hoping I'll pay anything for it. Too bad; I have bought Cameras, lens, and supplies from them over the years. Won't be doing business here ever again. Local Portland resident, not CA as it says under my name

Dear Cameraq Solutions Team,…read more I am writing to express my disappointment with the way I was treated during a recent phone call with your store. I was attempting to place an order for a camera and was told it had to be completed through your website. I followed the instructions given by your employee, but the order would not go through. Instead of offering helpful guidance, the young man I spoke with became impatient, used inappropriate language, and spoke to me in a way that was both disrespectful and insulting--implying that I was incapable and suggesting I find someone else to help me. To make matters worse, I later discovered that the issue was not user error at all, but rather a limitation in your system--it appears you cannot bill an order to one state while shipping it to another. That is something your staff should be aware of and able to communicate clearly and professionally. Experiences like this are exactly why customers hesitate to support local, small businesses. Courtesy, patience, and basic respect go a long way, and unfortunately, none of those were demonstrated in this interaction. I hope you take this feedback seriously and ensure better training and customer service in the future. Sincerely,

Fortunately, I decided to venture down a search into the more local small businesses and came upon this cool old school & quirky shop. I think the gentleman's name was Jim. Older dude that could pass as your nerdy techy friend who's probably collected every tech gadget since the original Tron came out. Told him what I was looking for but I gradually got discouraged as all he was showing me were the bigger style bigger sound units that are common for home systems. But, alas! With a little patience we revealed a new treasure: smaller desk top speakers! Minor speaker mesh stains on the front but super decent with a little TLC. He was super friendly and chill, even making an effort to find parts that could potentially be missing from this set (like compatible power cord). It also came with an amp box that I've got sitting below my desk table, which was a nice surprise (I keep it plugged in for the deeper sounds or just unplugged for more "regular(?)" crispy audio). All that for a really awesome deal; I think it was something like $15-30 or something crazy like that. Good shit, dude! Thank you. If you're looking for small speakers, I probably snagged the last set but I definitely recommend this place for any help with acheiving 2 things at once: reusing/upcycling any sort of old working electronics and supporting a damn good local friendly small business.
