As usual, they have all the Filipinos ingredients and foods you need. It's great for locals here to conveniently come here. They also have a Grill City too where they serve Filipino food and you can see all of that ready up. Honestly never been there before but maybe someday I will.

Everything was organized and very clean!! I was currently impressed with the Food court which I believe had six different restaurants as well as the bakery and their deli items. Since it was melting outside, my boyfriend and I decided to walk up and down every single aisle and check out everything at this particular ranch 99. We were surprised to see somebody many different items that were not at the local Cupertino or Newark Ranch 99. When we went to pay, we were able to get our things checked out and back quickly. Then again we probably spent a good hour in here going up and down every single aisle since it was a Sunday and everybody grocery shops on Sundays! They also had a huge display along the back wall of different moon, cakes, and samples. We will definitely be back!! Hee

I told her they were all from the same pile. She said 'do they look the same to you?' I said I would just take the ones that were 1.29/ lb and she started putting all of the tomatoes in one bag. I clarified I just wanted the ones for the labeled rate. Either the produce department is incompetent and is making 1 tomato pile of Roma and non roma tomatoes or the cashiers are too good at catching differences between tomatoes ‍ or Ranch is deceiving ppl by mixing different produce and labeling them as 1 kind

The meal came with a 4 oz NY steak, grilled shrimp skewer, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. The shrimp were nicely seasoned and cooked well, and the steak was still tender and flavorful. I ordered it medium rare and it came out a little more done than I expected--closer to medium--but it was still enjoyable and not dry. One of the biggest surprises here continues to be the complimentary sourdough bread. It's actually served fresh and hot from the oven. This time I had to wait a little because it was still baking, and my server let me know that upfront. It was worth waiting for: just the right amount of sourness, soft inside, with a thin, crisp crust instead of the overly thick, hard crust you get at a lot of restaurants. They also score the loaf before serving it, so it's very easy to pull apart. Honestly, one of the better complimentary breads I've had at a restaurant. I also tried the $9 Caramelized Pineapple Margarita. It was definitely on the sweet side, including the cinnamon rim, but it had a noticeable fresh pineapple aroma and was a fun drink for the price. What really pushed this visit to five stars, though, was the service recovery. My server had checked on me a couple of times earlier in the meal, and when I later mentioned that the steak was a little overcooked, she immediately went to get the manager. I wasn't asking for anything--I was just giving feedback. The manager came over personally, apologized, and asked if there was anything he could get me. When I couldn't think of anything, he suggested ice cream and brought me some. The steak being slightly overcooked was a small issue, but the way both the server and manager handled it was excellent. Good service isn't about everything being perfect; it's about how a restaurant responds when something isn't quite right, and they handled it exactly the way I would hope. Between the excellent value of the daily specials, genuinely good fresh-baked bread, good seafood, and attentive service, I'm very happy with this place. I'll definitely be back--next time I'm especially interested in trying their Sunday cioppino or coming during Social Hour.

I genuinely liked shopping here, which is what makes this situation so disappointing. During a recent visit, I had an extremely disturbing interaction with security where I was pepper sprayed multiple times, cornered in a bathroom stall, accused of stealing (when I didn't), and even had a KNIFE pointed at me when I was just trying to leave which has ultimately completely changed how I view this place. What should have been a normal shopping trip escalated into something that left me feeling unsafe and honestly shocked by how things were handled. I never expected to walk into a grocery store and leave feeling the way I did. I'm not writing this because of one bad day -- I'm writing it because trust matters. When you've been a regular somewhere and something serious happens, the response and accountability matter just as much as the incident itself. Unfortunately, this experience changed my perception of the store entirely. The company does not want to fire him so be aware when you go that he'll be waiting for you, and nothing will determine when he attacks!

You can find better locations throughout the state, but it's still very convenient in this neighborhood and it's been around for decades. The store isn't always the best stop, but they have the deli options and bakery inside. I'm surprised that they only had one cashier inside on a weekday morning before 12noon. Cashier doesn't smile or talk much either. Ambiance is ok, but not as exciting as other locations. Aisles are spacious though. It felt more organized and very clean inside today. I came specifically for healthy 1 Liter coconut beverages and the place had a good variety to choose from. I purchased the $4.49 each Chunguang Coconut Water which isn't always available or easy to find. Each carton contains 3 servings at 60 calories each. Best part is that it includes nutrients. 6% calcium, 10% iron, and 15% potassium in each serving. Nice! Tasted pretty decent and hydrating for the price. Again, this isn't my favorite 99 Ranch location, and most locations are listing items at highest prices, but it's still worth the convenient stop as needed.

A bit spicier than I want it to be but it's not burning hot which is liveable. The karaage was ok. Tartar sauce as a dip is a choice. The poke bowl felt like it could be better. The fish pieces were a bit haphazardly chopped. The seaweed was a bit slimy. But if you're needing to find snacks or frozen food or drinks, it's nice to have the option. nearby-ish. Also one of my bffs came here for a bunch of snacks and the associate there checking out her items noticed she was buying something that had a smaller amount where the larger amount item was on sale for the same price. I appreciate them looking out for you to get you a good deal! That's good service there. Everything is nicely laid out and clean so it's a lovely shopping experience but there is a slight smell of perhaps cleaning product which I guess is better than dirty smelling. Again not rushing back, but maybe I'd come back for the chips and such.
