Great poke spot with easy online ordering! I've placed two online orders and it was easy to pick-up. I had a craving for poke while pregnant but can't have raw fish so this spot was great as they have a lot of cooked options such as salmon, shrimp, eel, crab meat, etc. The topping options are good as well. I usually always get multiple sauces and ask for tsunami, which is a lot of sauce but my bowl is usually a little bland for my liking so I always add some soy sauce and sriracha. I've also ordered the spam musubi which isn't worth it as there's a lot of rice. Their pricing and portions are fair. Good spot for some decent poke in the area. This is the kind of poke place where you should get your meal to go, the space is small but the food quality is absolutely amazing. I ordered a regular bowl which came with three proteins, two bases (I got a mix of salad and white rice) along with the masago, crab salad, and various dry toppings. All items are fresh including the crab salad, which is a hard find since many crab salads that are offered in Poke places are either intimidation or small in portion, but with Sunfish Poke you get a bang for your buck. There was even a deal for onigiri for 0.99! It was a bit salty and I honestly wanted more tuna filling but it's still a great bite for the price you get. We also got the spinach wrap and it was huge. It was okay in terms of flavor, however I'd rather choose their poke bowl. If you were to get a poke bowl, you must get these sauces: creamy cilantro and sriracha aioli. Spicy, creamy, and packed with wonderful flavors. They simply mix so well together. I took it to go and packed it with more sriracha. The service was great, however, depending on the employee that serves you, you might either get a lack of protein, the right amount, or an overload lol. This is my go to place for Poke. read more

This is one of the best poke places I've been to. I really like how the place is set up inside since it matches the theme of poke. Though that it's quite dark inside, you can see how clean the place is inside. Poke bowls come in regular (3 meats) and large (4 meats). Not only that it serves grilled meats but also desserts too. I like how they serve it in a plastic container rather than a brown cardboard lookalike one. The food is really delicious and fresh. I can taste all the flavors from all ingredients. This is probably the best poke bowl I have ever had. Every part of this bowl was so well seasoned and no matter the combination you select it all worked really well. I had a regular bowl with half sushi rice and salad. 3 protein options were the cooked salmon and 2 portions of shrimp. The creamy cilantro sauce was sooo good, I didn't know creamy cilantro would go well in a poke bowl but it was perfect. The location is really clean and clean he service was quick. I got a poke bowl that was a healthier choice instead of rice I had a salad bowl, With lots of greens, Cucumber, edamame, Ginger, tuna , and other veggies, it was missing avocado but still tasted fresh and so healthy. I order the three rice paper rolls . Miso, shrimp cilantro and salmon. They were good, next time I would like to ask for extra dipping sauce as they were very small containers and not much sauce to use for three big rolls. The noodles in the rolls were very wet, almost soggy but tasted ok. I might want to order a hand roll next time just as preference . Flavor and presentation were lovely and delicious ! Sunfish Poke is located in a small and hidden plaza with plenty of parking, away from the busy Pacific Commons area. Service was almost non-existent on my last visit, the employees were not friendly or welcoming, it felt like they were just trying to move you along the line and rush you. For a large poke bowl, I paid almost $20 for it when it literally just have some more protein, which they give small portions to begin with. I usually get all salmon for my protein; for mixed toppings - I get carrots and cucumbers; for sauce - I get the sesame miso sauce (easy on the sauce); and for toppings - I get the crab salad, edamame, masago, and seaweed salad (extra charge). They also charge extra for mango and tamago, which other places do not and also have more affordable bowls. The salmon did not look appealing and it tasted even worse - it tasted fishy and slimy, which ruined the whole bowl to be honest. I really liked them when they first opened before they merged with MilkCow, then it has been average or mediocre experiences, but I wanted to try them one more time to give them another chance - wrong move, I ended up feeling and getting sick, probably because the salmon did not look or taste fresh. read more

As a poke lover I can say this place is pretty solid! The scoops of toppings are a little smaller than other places but they have pretty unique sauces such as miso sesame which I enjoyed!
