The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a very friendly staff. The bar area is on the smaller side, but they do offer individual tables there, which makes it comfortable and inviting. The food was really good I ordered the hamburger and fries, and both were delicious. The ambience is definitely one of the highlights, although the place does get busy. They also have a solid selection of IPAs at decent prices. What stood out most was how attentive and welcoming all the staff members were throughout the visit. Overall, it's a great spot for good food, drinks, and a lively vibe.

Visited on 6/20 for a post-birthday dinner with friends. What they DIDNT know was that this was also an engagement announcement lol I spoke with one of the managers, Medina, ahead of time who was so lovely and helped me pull off the surprise. The restaurant let me bring in my own cake, and our server was so sweet when he brought it out for us. The food was delicious and I enjoyed a few drinks to celebrate- all in all a great experience and I'm very thankful that I was able to make this memory at MB.

This was my first time eating here and man didn't make a great first impression!! It had a very dark, rustic or nautical, feel with the random knots and ropes around in the foyer, but also a fireplace and warm looking relaxing, cute aesthetics. The server was very helpful and we were able to order very easily. I ordered the Seabass with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and some olive trimmings. my boyfriend got the building your own meal thing and he had some sort of fish with shrimp and brussels sprouts without the candy bacon but they were way too sweet for both of our liking! I guess we're just more traditional and we like regular brussels sprouts without all the sugar. Lol. Both dishes were really well prepared and had great sauces or dips/marinades with them. At least when it came to the fish concepts. We were also able to order a bottle of white wine, which went perfectly well with our seafood and everything came out in a timely matter! I was very impressed with everything, especially since we were eating so late at night on a Thursday night. Hee I would love to come back and try a couple more items on their menu!! They also had a TV screen/monitor showing all their items that I didn't realize until after I ordered my food, but there were so many delicious looking items on that picture screen I wish I would have looked at that before I picked my items from the menu, but I just reading the details. Pictures say 1000 more words! Lol oops! I will definitely be back!

TLDR: high quality seafood with a nice clean ambience. Fair prices on their happy hour menu and daily specials I've been a big fan of this establishment for years. I enjoy their large variety of happy hour options, and they cater to people at different price points. I haven't taken advantage of their daily specials as much as I'd like, but I'll drop by again soon to check out their Atlantic Cod Fish and Chips on a Friday. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy seafood, drinks, or even surf and turf.

Continues to be a perfect business lunch for any occasion! For years the seafood salad has been my go-to but I went for the Ahi salad this week and glad I did! A noticeably much better fish portion than most other restaurants. I highly recommend a cup of chowder to start your meal!

I came here on a Friday night to have dinner with my girlfriend. There was no wait time. The customer service was great. The best service I have had at Market Broiler since they moved to this current location in Fremont from the old one. I made my own combo of double salmon, with vegetables and cheesy potatoes. It was perfect. Really good food. The fresh sourdough bread was also great. This food was also the best I've had since they moved. I was really impressed by this visit and plan to try and come back again soon.

Came here for lunch today with my friend. Given a booth which was very comfy. I thought the food had good quantity and good flavors but nothing to write home about. Seafood salad was covered with toppings. Refreshing and I liked that the salad dressing was off to the side. You can pick your dressing. My friend got the fish tacos - you can have fried and grilled. Comes with 3 and chips with salsa. A lot of food. Complimentary sourdough bread - a bit on the hard side - better was well whipped but can be a bit more savory. Our server Mike was 5 stars. He was very personable and nice. He gave good recommendations and also a complimentary creme brûlée. I would come back just to have him as my server.

This is our first time here, and it started fantastic with Yarelin, aka YaYa. We had questions, of course, and she was very patient with us. I didn't see a spicy margarita on the menu. No problem, we can make that for you! Yaya tells me. It was good. On to the food, started with coconut shrimp and sweet & spicy calamari, both very tasty. On to our meals, me and my brother in law had the blackened swordfish. It was good, the rice that came with it was delicious, the broccolini needed to be blanched first before grilling, however the grilling gave it flavor! My wife had a sushi roll and said it was good. My sister had a salad and side of fries. Can't wait to try the fisherman's stew, next time!

Nice seafood restaurant. They have a huge menu with tons of seafood and also beef options. Their menu selection is great. My party of 6 and I started with the sourdough which came out hot. We then got the sampler appetizer which came with coconut shrimp, California roll, flautas, calamari, etc. The sampler was pretty good but I thought the calamari was underwhelming. I think I might skip next time as calamari is usually my fav appetizer. The portion was good though for a shareable and it was nice trying different items. I ordered the jambalaya and it had a lot of seafood, chicken, and sausage. It was a little too salty for my liking but still nicely seasoned. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food and thought everything was good. Service was very attentive. Our waitress, Destiny, was great. It was my mom's birthday and we brought a cake and Destiny made sure we had extra silverware and all. Super nice and great service throughout. All the staff were friendly. Overall, will definitely be back. Good food options and great staff!

Market Broiler has been a regular seafood spot for many years especially when I lived in the Bay Area and do still go whenever I get a chance. It is spacious inside with plenty of dining booths, and there is outside patio seating as well. It is well maintained with nice decor. Lots of parking located at a big shopping plaza. Greeted quickly once inside and seated at a booth with a menu. Bread and creamy butter served once seated. Ordered a bowl of 50/50 Boston and Manhattan clam chowder. Also got their lunch special shrimp scampi which was served with buttery garlic bread. Food was delicious as always! Service was very good and the server checked in quite often on any additional requests. Will be back again for sure whenever I get a chance visiting the Bay!

I came with a party of 8 on a Sunday night and got seated immediately. Bread and butter came a few minutes after ordering. It was a warm sourdough that was pretty good. The appetizers came shortly after 5 minutes. We had a dozen oysters, coconut shrimp, and sweet & spicy calamari. The oysters were good. The tasted pretty fresh and had are good with horseradish. The shrimp were tender and have a good crunch. The calamari was subpar. The sauce saves it a bit but the calamari itself was pretty pedestrian. Additionally the pickled carrot garnish felt out of place. The entrees came ten minute after the appetizers. I got a parmesan crusted halibut. It came with an edible flower, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and spinach. The entree was good. The fish is good and the spinach and asparagus were perfect. The only criticism I would have is that I would've liked a bigger piece of fish and more capers. Overall I had a good dinner here. Service was efficient and excellent.

We were seated right away for a group of nine people. Ambience was great, servers were friendly and accommodating. Food presentation was very nice. Food was good. Calamari appetizer was overcooked a tad. Desserts were pretty amazing. Entrees was decent.

It's been a while since I ate at Market Broiler and my wife was itching to try this place out since we pass it by so often when we go to Costco Fremont. [[ Pro's ]] 1.) Food I genuinely think the food is quite good for the price. For the amount you pay, the portions are good (healthy amount of seafood, fish, meat) on whatever you order and their sourdough is really that amazing. We got two helpings of it even with the food we ordered because we wanted to eat it again. We ordered: a.) Manhattan & New England Clam Chowder (50/50 version) b.) Parmesan Crusted Fresh Halibut c.) Creole Jambalaya 2.) Restaurant I thought the restaurant looked pretty good and I loved the open kitchen concept. We sat next to the open kitchen so we got to watch the chefs cook and also the servers getting the food when it was delivered with the finishing touches. Good vibes. [[ Con's ]] 1.) Service It could just be an off-day but the service was not very good. Our server was very nice but super busy so we didn't get too much attention and waited a while to order. I never got my water refilled (or even asked for a refill) and she even charged me for a drink that I did not order. If I didn't look closely at the bill, I would have overpaid for an item that I never ordered. That definitely leaves a sour taste in my mouth. 2.) Tip Payment is made at the table with the device being shown to your face. Not only that, the restaurant "reverses" the normal tipping pattern and has the highest amount on the left instead of the smallest amount (I think it was 24%, 20%, 17%). Usually it's (18%, 20%, 22%) so my muscle memory was already off on the reverse direction. On top of that, it felt awkward paying the tip and then having the server look at the total amount before thanking me. That was very weird. 3.) Sticky Table The table was clean but it just felt sticky everywhere. We actually changed tables to another one and it was still sticky. I'm not sure if it's the wood tables that retain the sticky-ness but it's a gross feeling every time your skin makes contact with the table.

    Drinks were tasty as well.

We usually fax in our order and give a time that we will be arriving so they are able to target that time to have the food ready. While this may not seem like a large feat, we always encounter major problems when requesting to have to food cook prior to our arrival, so that we can eat in a timely manner. I usually order the Steak and Bleu Cheese Salad ($12) which is very good and very filling. I always pre-split this order and eat the rest during the afternoon slump. The steak is tender and flavorful and the dressing doesnt overpower the salad. This last time though I was not very hungry and ordered the Beef Kebobs ($9) instead. The beef is actually the same kind of steak they use for the salad, just uncut, and it comes with a side of flat bread. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it is just an appetizer... at an entree price.
