BEWARE of XFinity / Comcast! Signed up for Internet service @ $60 per month. Several months later, they DOUBLED my monthly bill from $60 to $124. Never received prior notice of this insane increase. Called multiple times regarding the matter. Each time, I was "referred" to someone else. Finally talked with a rep who said a mention of the increase was on page 3 of statement. Never received statement. Then I was told that I should look up my account online "every" month to verify my monthly bill. I was told that bc I was an existing customer, they could sign me up for SAME svc I was receiving at $60 for only $105. No, thank u.... BOTTOM LINE: If u use XFinity/Comcast, read ur paper bill thru page 3 snd/our check ur bill monthly online so u will know if ur bill will also double. Bye XFinity! read more

I closed an office in Huntsville, and was trying to return THEIR equipment at this location. It took me weeks of negotiating with Comcast over the phone to finally get them to give me an RMA so that I could return THEIR equipment. All the time, they were trying to upsell me to not only keep their service, but to upgrade it. FFS, how hard is it to understand that I am CLOSING this office and don't need their internet service or equipment? +++2 months after I finally got the account closed and equipment returned....I got a call from Comcast regarding them having a serice order to MOVE our internet service to another location. NO! It took me like an hour on the phone with them to convince them that we were no longer even a Comcast customer! There was a time, long, long ago, that Comcast used to be an exceptional company. Now, their call centers are staffed out of the U.S., and they have COMPLETELY lost their focus on any sort of customer service or satisfaction. read more

Xfinity stole from my auto pay account after I had canceled service the month before and had to open a ticket to get my money back. Worst company ever, cancelled because 3 technicians sent out and could never fix the line. Their customer service is in Asia and you can't understand them. Beware! read more

I am writing to let people know, whatever you do, DON'T SIGN UP FOR CABLE WITH COMCAST OR XFINITY OR WHATEVER THEY ARE CALLING THEMSELVES THIS YEAR!! Horrible service. After you are locked into a contract, they can change, delete, add or move whatever channels they want!! How is that a contract?!?! A pig by any other name is still a pig! Called to have internet installed, customer service was very helpful. That's were they excelled. The BIG DOWN fall was each time they cancelled on me, it was a whopping three times. After the third time I just cancelled the whole thing. I was more patient than my husband, he said after the second time just cancel. I was wanting to give them another chance. Then they had the nerve to send me a bill!! $$92. And some change. I returned the equipment and asked did I owe anything, she said "NO". So now they've reported it on my credit report. I still never received service! I'm considering getting my lawyer to take care of them. Comcast do you like the sound of a CLASS ACTION? I'm sure I'm not the only one. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST, WORST! company we are even considering moving due to the incompetence of this company and their outsourced third party customer service agents. We had set an appointment for the 12th, well the person taking the order set it for 1 month later for the 22nd. So when we called which was numerous BTW and on hold for several minutes more than 10 each we explained to the person of different nationality what happened they refused to get someone out without a 3000 service charge even though it was the company who was at fault. Not only did we have to pick up our own equipment but had to install it which did not work ( and I work in this industry) So now we wait till they decide they have time to address the issue meanwhile no CATV No Internet. I have been a Comcast customer for many years . . Besides the late fees charged the day after the bill is paid , paying for service that you have not been able to use (-7 signal , being thrown around from agent to agent , being dropped from a call because it has really too long , the biggest issue came about . I was given a wonderful rate of 44.99 for 160 channels 3 5th plus a DVR. I took it and they sent a tech out because I tried but was unable to get service . I am disabled and I have spent two weeks trying to get service . Now for the biggie. The technician came and reinstalled the cable and when he hooked up the cable boxes he said I was going to have to call customer service because my package was for Latinos . I don't speak Spanish . The rep at Comcast said she would turn on the English channels but my rate was going to be $129. Almost double the cost . I tried to talk with the agent and told her it was insulting . This is an English speaking country and to be penalized for being a citizen , working 30 years and having at least 50 relatives that have served this country was beyond insulting . I was then told it was subsidized politically . Which government subsidized ? She didn't know . We had better change things quick . read more

I have had this service for 1 month and it has been a long drawn out process to get tv. I first called and gave the rep # of rooms etc. He said I would need on HD box & a modem. He said other TV's I can hook up to the wall to get channels. So I set up my TV's myself & no signal. I call for a tech & they said I need an amplifier. They said my other rooms need to be rewired because the signal is weak. I set up another appointment for rewiring. The tech comes & says I don't need rewiring just amplifiers & that I would have to set up an appointment for that! He said I will also need boxes for the other rooms that I can't just hook them up from the wall. I call to order the additional equipment & set up an appointment. Day of the appointment I wait & no techs. I call & they inform me the rep I spoke with didn't put the appointment in completely & that I will need to make another appointment. read more

Runaway from these people! First, they don't answer the phone in Huntsville, too many complaints. Second, they don't disclose all their fees/charges. I had high speed 100MBS internet, loved it, until 2.5 weeks in when I ran out of internet. What? Yep, they forgot to tell 300Gig was my limit and how did we use 300Gig? Canceled them as soon as I could get someone else. Third, their installs and cancellations are awful. They cut your existing ISP lines, and leave it laying in the road, on the ground, hanging from the pole. My neighborhood (Jones Valley) had a run of Comcast / Xfinity over a two week span earlier this year and I had to pick up the wire from the street. It laid there for months. When I called to complain, I got a nationwide call center, not Huntsville. BEWARE, these guys are awful! read more

Got my bill and it was almost $100 higher than it should be. Called billing and found that I was being charge for a service call that should have been free. To replace the box was free but the tech charged me for a service he didn't perform. I got the charge removed. Watch out for shady technicians. Watch them read more

If I could go any lower than 1 star I would. 1) Service is HORRIBLE. I have their best and still can't pick up if I'm too far from the modem, so moving around the interior of the house is near impossible. 2) The service is SLOW, and again I say, I signed up for their BEST service provided. 3) Their Internet site sucks. It won't let me pay a bill; keeps kicking me out after hitting the submit button without taking the payment. 4) Currently on the phone waiting to talk to a customer rep and it's been MORE THAN 32 minutes, with no estimated wait time given. 5) Auto operator would not recognize my number. 6) Cancelling as soon as I switch to someone else tomorrow! read more
