I'm so glad we found this gem outside the craziness of the water front! Enjoyed a couple of breakfast sandwiches at the window bar inside and watched the bakers in back preparing sheets and sheets of baked goods for the oven. The vegetarian sandwich was to die for. They had both medium and dark roast drip coffee available and local dairy cream, which we appreciated. The dark was bold and delicious. The owner stopped by and graciously offered us a little tour of their operation. On the way out we grabbed a cinnamon morning bun to go. You won't be disappointed. I have had croissants in Paris and let me tell you they don't compare to the croissants this bakery is putting out. They are layered perfectly absolutely buttery and to my surprise crispy and crunchy on the outside. The tiles are the best breakfast you can have, they bake a egg yolk on top and when you bite into it, you have this crispy egg top that is still runny. The apricot stars are on this crispy soft pastry dough and the apricot is just cooked to perfection perfect sweet and tangy. The almond paste in the almond croissant are TO DIE FOR. So good! I had the goat cheese roasted tomato jam & lemon zest sandwich. It was perfectly grilled and the flavor combination was exactly what I was hoping for. I also purchased several baked goods to "share". Vanilla/ chocolate sandwich cookies, peanut butter sea salt, and a chocolate almond croissant. On a tip from a friend, I also tried the flourless chocolate cake bites. Ironic that those alone will bring me back in! Goat cheese fig tile was really good as was the cherry chocolate danish. This is a clean bakery with a gorgeous display of baked goods. Apparently they sell out of various breads and you can order and pay for a loaf of sourdough and they will reserve it for you. read more

Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. A thin crispy bread, creamy scrambled egg, good cheese. We tried ham and the spicy chorizo and both were excellent. Left with a loaf of bread and a vanilla grapefruit cookie. No room for any of the lovely pastries. Went there twice in one day to enjoy their breakfast sandwich and coffee and lunch to go with a cold beer at right brain brewing . Second time we ordered online went from right brain picked up the sandwiches and back in minutes. Un-commonly good. If you like bread with a great deep firm crust this is your bakery. Their cheese cake is amazing. It is light and rich. (Yes light fluffy cheese cake, how do you do that?) We just decided to stop by a random bakery since we want to take some pastries to eat while we were on the beach. Turned out it's not a random bakery. We got a fruit Danish(something with pear), Almond Croissant, and Ham & Cheese Croissant. Their Croissants are just amazing. I've never had a Danish before, but this is good, not too sweet and very fruity. We wanted to go back and get more but they close at 3. So two weeks ago I needed a baguette to complement a meal and saw this bakery on the way home. Pre-ordered by phone a baguette and drove up to find they only offered curb service. The exchange went without a hitch. Got home and sampled the bread and was very impressed with the flavor and texture. Will put this bakery on my list of must visit. Best croissants ever! My favorite was the mushroom ricotta but egg and bacon were delicious. We also tried the blueberry lemon, apricot, and pear pastries, all delicious! Coffee and farm fresh creamer went perfect with croissants. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice in refrigerator. I can not wait to go back, it was that amazing! Owners were super friendly and helped point us on the direction of some loca fun attractions. We arrived at 6:00am when they were opening and everything was fresh and right out the oven. This promoted me to stop by on the way out of town and get sandwiches for our trip home and a couple other treats. Everything is so fresh and tasty. And you can tell that the team there loves what they are doing. The crunchy garlic bread strips we took home were out of the world.
