Food is good and like the updated furnishings. Have been there on a couple of occasions. Very nice staff.

Shooters Bar & Grill opened in March 2024 in the former Generals Sports Bar & Grill near the Route…read more114 and Route 77 intersection (southern junction), across the road from Country 3 Corners (Sunoco).  The place is open for dinner 7 nights a week, lunch on Tue-Sun, and breakfast on Sundays. The place has the atmosphere of a roadside country bar with mainly wooden trim and wood furnishings and antler overhead lighting. There are a few flatscreen TVs and a digital jukebox with sound system. A variety of music including old school punk rock and classic rock was blasting. There's seating up at the full service bar, table seating and high top tables. The bar offers 15 draft beers, bottle beers, mixed drinks, cocktails and margaritas. The food menu offers a good selection of pub fare including several kinds of nachos, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, quesadillas, wings, salads, entrees (fish & chips, meatloaf, steak tips, chicken tenders, kabob, pasta), soup and chili. They also offer happy hour specials and nightly specials. After hearing good things about Shooters from my boss who lives in Weare, I decided to stop by Shooters for Taco Tuesday and happy hour. I "stumbled in" here (no reference to a popular Londonderry bar) around 4:50pm after a long day at work and took a seat up at the bar. The bartender Kaile gave me a menu to look at and went over the Taco Tuesday and happy hour deals including $2 Tacos, $10 Prime Rib Burritos and $7 Personal Pizza with 16 oz Beer. I started out with an ice water and ordered 5 Soft Shell Tacos (2 fish, 1 beef, 1 steak, 1 grilled chicken, 1 shrimp) with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, salsa and sour cream. The tacos came out looking nice and stuffed well with plenty of fillings in grilled warm soft tortilla shells. I also ordered the $7 Personal Pizza and Beer special too. I got a Sam Adams Summer Ale which was cold and refreshing and got the Shooters Supreme personal pizza (8" square), which was loaded with pepperoni, ground sausage, onions, green peppers, preserved mushrooms, thick red sauce, melted mozzarella cheese on top of a thin soft firm crust. I managed to finish all of my food along with the beer pint and ice water. The total check was $18.44 with tax and before tip.   Overall, I was very satisfied with the food and cold beer at the special discounted prices. The service was prompt and efficient. The place started to get busy as I finished up. Shooters Bar & Grill is a ways out for me, but it was definitely worth the drive here.

A nice place, and we were not rushed along, which was a nice change from a lot of NH restaurants…read more The pretzel sticks (3) were not bad, but the mustard and cheese sauce was not to our liking. We ordered scallops, which came with fries, baby carrots, and a side salad, which was quite good. Some of the better fries we have had in a while, the carrots had a nice flavor and were not mushy and had a nice snap to them. The scallops were very good. A nice variety of music was playing and it just made it feel quite comfortable. Our server was very good. They do charge a NH Hospitality Program fee, which is mandatory. We were advised it can be waived if requested.

WARNING: Unaccompanied women are unwelcome at Country Spirit. I never would've guessed that…read moremisogynist businesses like this still exist, certainly not in the northeast. The mostly female staff are not only highly unprofessional, but (most of them) also clearly struggle with "internalized sexism". Following is only a sampling of actual events that made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I typically only post exemplary reviews, but feel a strong moral obligation to warn other women. According to my bank records, during the past 5 years living in the area, I've been to Country Spirit every couple months or so. I've taken friends and dates there, who all complained about the food and service; but I kept going because it was a handy local spot for quick lunch or takeout. When visiting solo, I'd usually sit at the bar and grew accustomed to long waits for service. Many visits, the longtime patrons (mostly men) helped me get the bartenders' attention. Several voluntarily reassured me that "this is just how female bartenders treat female customers." So, I decided to not take it personally, and always gave the same 25%++ generous tips that I do everywhere I go. Aside from service, at least 2 takeout orders contained wheat bread, even though I'd explicitly ordered gluten-free (due to my tumor from celiac disease). Each time, I patiently waited 20 more minutes for them to recook my meals. Another visit last year, I asked a cook why the prime rib was overdone (even though I'd ordered it before the serving time); and he assured me it was a one-time anomaly that would never happen again. But sadly, it did happen again. Oct'2025, I'd stopped going there for 8 months, because I'd simply had enough of the horrible service and food. A few weeks ago, I gave it one more chance and had a brief pleasant visit. Today, I stopped in for a late afternoon cocktail; and after a sip of my drink, one of those same longtime patrons began complaining about a couple bartenders by names. I nodded empathetically, but added nothing. So, I was SHOCKED that within seconds, one of the 5 female staff targeted only me and asked me to step outside. She didn't even know MY Name, but asked me to leave (and not return), because I'd allegedly been "repeatedly badmouthing" the establishment. I asked how that was possible if I barely spoke to anyone today and only stopped in twice over the past 9 months!? She insisted that she was relaying this from the Owner (Sara?) who I'd never even met before. Obviously, banning any customer on baseless paranoia (in lieu of any civil resolution) demonstrates only emotional volatility, NOT professionalism. I'm nearly 50yrs old and a semi-retired business professional and my wardrobe reflects that. I live a quiet peaceful life and have never heard of anything like this. Even-so, I kept calm, debunked her false accusations and wild exaggerations, then peacefully left. Ultimately, I'm grateful to have finally been exposed to the utter lack of "spirit" at Country Spirit. I hope no other women endure this pointless targeted harassment, and shall trust my instincts if I'm ever treated with such disrespect and disregard ever again.
