The turkey club used to be amazing. Now it was just OK. Still real sliced turkey breast but old and dry instead of rich and savory. There's a long list of draft beers on line. When asked the waitress said the only draft beer available was Harp. Literally one draft beer out of over a dozen on the menu. We'll sorely miss the old Aidan's, and hope a new owner might come along.

Not only did he not tell me it would be $2.75 (or something like that) more, but the fries are listed as the same price online. When I told him that, he said that their online menu is really old (this is to say, don't look at it! and also, not sure why they wouldn't update it if they know it's incorrect). Sure enough, the printed menu also said nothing about an upcharge for a different fry, so ultimately I was able to remove the charge, but it was a little awkward and frustrating. My only other complaint is not particularly the fault of the restaurant, but I suppose just a side effect of the laidback vibes. A group of 7 or 8 people came in like 20 minutes after us and was so loud that I almost suggested we leave. My guess is they were drunk, but it was a Wednesday night around 6:00, so I wouldn't have expected that. They were so loud that I was yelling to my friend who was within arm's length. Totally changed the vibe and enjoyment for me.

Ever.) My side salad was lettuce only doused in the same aforementioned Asian salad grocery store mix dressing, with lots of wilted/old lettuce that I had to pick out. My entree was good but tasted generic, like something I've had at other chain restaurants a million times before with no unique twist put on it. It had a sauce but it had little to no flavor - couldn't figure out what it even was and didn't remember it being on the menu - so it added nothing to the dish. There are lots of rave reviews here, but we just don't get it. We've ordered takeout from here before and that time, too, we were not overwhelmed with joy, just kind of 'whelmed.' Very 'meh,' and with so many other incredible food establishments within a 25 minute drive in Providence or in between, or even great local spots in town, this place just doesn't hold a candle. Not worth going back. It felt like a very novice chef was at the helm and dishes lacked inspiration and new, exciting flavors that we haven't seen before.

Both were outstanding - I could easily have tried a few more of the dessert cocktails, but alas we had a 40 minute drive home so that will have to wait for another visit. Awful again! Classless owner see's me at a "great establishment in Bristol today", Aidens, as she is walking out with her family member, and says " there's the a-hole." I gave C-Pub a bad review in the past after her trailer trash worker made a scene when I visited this 2nd-class establishment, since I do not wear a mask) etc. Then, this classless owner of C-Pub continues to flip me off through the window as she walk to her car leaving Aiden's. Classlessness and has no common decency. Save your money, or spend it at a road side truck stop in Arkansas. Much better. Waaaay more classy and I would guarantee friendly. I think the owner has major human interaction issues. Aiden's in Bristol? A+++ in food, customer service, environment, and great bartenders. read more

Searched for seafood in Bristol RI and was surprised to see the Common Pub &Grille appear as a choice. We have been coming to Bristol for years and never knew about this local pub. It's a few streets away from Main St. We decided to give it a try around 6 o'clock on Friday night. The place was very busy but the hostess took care of us. We ordered the Frickles (fried pickles) to start. Our waitress was friendly and got our order placed quickly. I got a chicken parm special which came with tons of penne. Two people got the fish and chips which arrived with a huge piece of fish. My wife got baked haddock which was good too. The atmosphere of the pub was good for a local spot. Good band playing and fun road house atmosphere wi attentive bartenders even when busy...but thats where the good stops. This is a cocaine pit. The local biker club who is very present runs coke out of the men's room. The blonde heavyset biker with the "prospect" tag on his jacket was selling coke openly. Usage was obvious all around. A leader of the club or at least one wi authority kept coming to the men's room to supervise the sales. Management MUST know about this. This is a dark little place for the local coke heads to do their thing. I would just spend your money elsewhere and stay away from the trouble. read more

My friend and i went the other night, i can't remember what night...some kid at school told me he didn't get carded so we went for drinks ...it was kinda dead and we wanted to talk to some chics but all we saw were some randow locals at the bar and some big kid going on about respect so we left. Drinks were cheap though. Oh yeah whatever smell came from the kitchen was not food...smelled like someone was burning a fake leg. Don't go here unless you want to get harassed by a red haired bouncer for having a legal ID, as well as another proper form of ID. Common Pub and Grille: find less horrible bouncers to work at your establishment who do not harass women about their weight. So not cool. Not coming here again. read more

We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.

The only downside to our experience is that once it did start getting pretty busy in the restaurant, the service was much much slower (which is a given with how busy it was) and we had to ask a different waiter to help us get our check and head out.
