The Admiral's a decent local spot for a burger and a beer, popular with families. Nice big booths, wood-y, dim lighting. Table service s l o w as molasses... They add the "New" into English pub with fab clamcakes the size of a small fist. Not a whole lot going on draft-wise; the usual suspects plus a couple of English ales, which I didn't really dig (flat) but that may just be a personal preference. Comfortable spot; will definitely give it another go.

This is still a solid 3 stars. It can be hard to find as the sign is small and the Pub is located a bit off the road. It shares a building and parking lot with Tav-Vino. Because of that, the parking lot is often full and you will need to find street parking. It's small inside with a lot of darker wood. It can fill up fast and there were only a few open seats on a recent Tuesday night. They have a decent draft beer selection along with seasonal specialty cocktails and wine. The menu offers a lot of the standard pub options along with a few entrees. On our latest visit we had the buffalo tenders. There were four very large tenders in the order and they were good. The blue cheese dressing was a bit odd. It tasted like ranch dressing that they added blue cheese chunks to. It was a bit different that it had been on previous visits. They have a large burger menu and in the past I have substituted a turkey burger to make it slightly healthier. You can also order vegetables at a side instead of fries for a small charge. Unfortunately they were out of turkey burgers the night we went. They also ran out of the wine I was drinking after the first round. I ended up ordering the littleneck pizza, which was really tasty. My husband ordered the salmon and got an enormous piece. Service can be slow and spotty at times while at other times service is great. Once in a while the smoke and smells from the kitchen will overwhelm the dining area. It's a decent option for the area. While we aren't regulars, we do visit occasionally for a change of pace.

Tuna - which was ordered rare. Does this look rare to you?And look at the messy presentation!

Cozy English pub with food that is far better than the typical English pub. They also have a wide selection of bottled beers.

I also loved that it had a giant ice cube with "SA" melted onto it. My friend ordered their old fashioned and it was probably the best one I ever had - it wasn't overly bitter, but instead had a sweet citrus finish. The staff is really kind and attentive. There are TVs at the bar and also tables all around for larger groups, or for more space.

I was expecting it to be a dive (I do love a good dive bar!), but Stingy Alley is beautiful and classy, with an amazing cocktail menu and small bites as well. I loved the dark wood decor, the low lighting throughout the establishment, and the accent lights at the bar are so pretty. There are many different types of seating - bar, high top tables, benches, regular tables, and a cute and comfy corner booth with throw pillows, which is where we opted to sit. Service was excellent. I was expecting to have to order at the bar, but Stingy Alley has table service. My husband ordered the espresso martini and I went with the Dubai chocolate martini. Both were outstanding - I could easily have tried a few more of the dessert cocktails, but alas we had a 40 minute drive home so that will have to wait for another visit. Will definitely come back to Stingy Alley - thanks for a lovely end to our night!

We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.

Prizes for this event were very odd and cheap. For the cost of the tickets, they could do better! Like give away a free drink or a gift card as a prize! They also need more bartenders as it was packed. Like i said, place has good potential, but the follow through is missing.
