Went for a brief lunch and were looking for somewhere with salad options. Great food, wish there was a bit more space inside to sit.

Comoncy is located in an area populated with random cute stores and other restaurants, and even a hair salon. It's a great place to walk around and take cute pictures for Instagram for maybe an hour or so. If you have a date, this is also a great place for a coffee break or brunch. I ordered their BLT sandwich and latte...the sandwich was perfect, and I love the salad that came with it too. The latte was too strong for me, but it was an easy fix...I just asked one of the staff to make it a bit sweeter and they added a pump of vanilla. Obviously dine in wasn't an option because of Covid-19, but they had a small table with some chairs out in the front patio that happened to be empty so they allowed us to eat there. The parking was easy, there is a parking structure nearby and we were able to find a spot right away. It could be that we got there early though, or maybe because not a lot of people are out due to the pandemic. Either way, it's free for the first hour. Bonus points for this! read more

A go to stable for Beverly Hills! Pros: great selection of quick breakfast options! The egg player was exceptional. It accompanied jam and butter as well as toast. The perfect amount of breakfast without overdoing it. Fairly priced. The bread options are great. The coffee is above average. A few nice tables outside as well for sitting. A 4.5 star in my book. Cons: they can be a bit on slower side for serving. It took a bit long to get our coffee during morning rush. The sitting area is a little small but still a norm for the area. I'm a big fan of Comoncy, and that's a rare title as far as Los Angeles restaurants go. Of course like most places I have had less than perfect meals, but overall their quality of food is very consistent. And I would generally rated it 4.5, closer to 5 stars. What's sad that my part is quality of ingredients. For example one of my favorite side dishes, if you can call it that, is it toasted baguette with butter and jam. Their jam is homemade. And each time is different, sometimes it's strawberry sometimes it's raspberry but it's wonderful every time. Their salads are really great, they are my go to lunch! So good. A co-worker said I should try this place, I work right on Wilshire and my lunch is only 30 min so I needed something fast and to go! Looked this place up on Yelp and found that you can order online here! Already a major perk. I left about 10 min after and it took be less than 5 minutes to walk, and another 5 to pick up. The line was long so it must've been lunch hour for everyone. The place is small so don't expect a sit-down experience. But I got the Thai salad and it was amazing. I thought maybe the price was a little steep, but honestly after eating it, the ingredients were fresh and pay for itself. Well crafted, easy and fresh! Stopped by here for a quick bite while wedding dress shopping in the area. It's a fairly small cafe and seating is limited, but the food makes up for it! I got the egg-cellent sandwich and it was delicious! Totally lived up to it's name. The bread was incredibly tasty and the egg inside was perfect. Also it was around 2:30pm but I was able to order an item off the breakfast menu, so I think they serve breakfast all day? Others in my group loved their orders as well (BH club, chicken panini, and caprese sandwiches). All served with dark greens. A bit on the pricier end (to be expected with BH) but they use quality ingredients. Friendly service. Coffeeshop with breakfast items and matcha available. Came here around 7 am on a Thursday to get some caffeine before work. It a pretty small far too milky and space and there's some small tables and two outdoor tables. You order at the counter first and then receive your order. When I was there, there was one person sitting down with a newspaper and one other person in front of me in line. The barista was perfectly cordial and made the drink pretty quickly. However the matcha latte itself wasn't that good (~$6). It was way too milky with not enough matcha powder so it was more of a light green color rather than a deep emerald. It was slightly sweet but not particularly special. The menu is located in the wall and there's no WiFi. They do take card and there's a rewards program you could sign up for. If you sign up on the yelp cash back, you also get some back from this place. Overall it's overpriced and not worth it for the price. read more

found this place on google looking for a coffee and pastry place. there was a picture of scones that sealed the deal. unfortunately, no scones currently but i decided to try a croissant and cold brew. i was asked if i wanted milk and sugar and i asked if there was half and half. because of covid, the nice employee asked me how much i wanted as he poured it for me. i'm very particular about coffee and this one is very good. good cold brew (for me) doesn't need added sugar, maybe just a bit of dairy added. the croissant was good. not the best i've ever had but definitely still very enjoyable with a nice crunch at the ends. read more

They always have the freshest greens - not sure where they get them, but SO GOOD either in a side salad or on top of various dishes. Favorite dish by far is their avocado toast, which comes with a poached egg and greens on top. I like to get it on the baguette instead of the olive bread it comes on. Their paninis are also good but very rich; rarely able to finish more than half a sandwich, but then you have a lovely treat for home. Coffee is good, but I have other spots I like better. Things take longer, but its generally because the staff here is unhurried and puts an emphasis in doing a nice job, which I like to see. read more

OK, I think the same guy that used to give me a hard time has been given a talking to. He's accommodating now, still in too much of a rush with you on the phone, but at least he uses the proper language of playing nice. Read my previous review for the good stuff. I am thrilled that I can get an awesome tuna sandwich without mayo! You don't understand how much I appreciate that. I get it mixed with their lemon vinaigrette and on a baguette instead of their ciabatta bun, which, frankly, is not my favorite, but that's ok, because that baguette! THAT baguette! crunchy and soft! I've eaten many things off the menu and liked everything. All good quality, healthy food. Great salads, great dishes, great iced coffee! When I put all my issues aside, I'm a fan. Plus I really appreciate the powers that be reaching out to me and making an effort to make it right. Showing concern and care as a business owner to a customer is a really important thing to do right, and aside from the excellent food, they did that right. So I fully endorse this place. You shouldn't eat tuna all the time, so it's good to mix up the menu, and who raves about tuna? But seriously this is one of the best tuna sandwiches in town! A great sandwich for a much better price then when I now have to custom order something similar at Olive & Thyme in Toluca Lake. Had the pleasure of having lunch here with my friend. I ordered the egg sandwich, delicious organic eggs on a toasted whole wheat bun with the smoke apple bacon. It was very good and then I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk. My friend ordered a Panini, but it was very under toasted. She kept having to take it back several times. The outdoor seating area was very nice but compact. Was it great? Not really. It was just okay and slightly overpriced. A good four star place. Not fantastic. Don't go out of your way. read more

I found Comoncy one day when I had to run some errands in Beverly Hills and was in need of some caffeine. I thought the cafe had a nice decor, although the seating seemed little. I'm not sure this would be the best place to have an extended lunch break, but it could be a great spot to stop in for a quick bite or pick up some food to go. Visiting Comoncy would be a nice way to take a break after a day of shopping or touring Rodeo Drive. I loved my Americano, and the selection of pastries I tried were great! I also enjoyed the down-to-earth staff, which you don't always find in a cafe. This place is definitely worth a visit! With repeat visits, I could see this place netting a 5-star rating! read more

Good start for this little cafe. They utilize a lot of copper plated tables and counters which is a good look. I was greeted at the counter and the ordering was fast. The food came out quickly. I had the chicken panini and a TCHO hot chocolate and took a spot at the standing counter to eat. There were 3 small two person tables in the dining area and 1 table outside. A lot of people seemed to order the chicken panini as a taste test and everything tasted great. The chicken was sliced thinly, the provolone was melted, the ciabatta bread was crunchy toasted on the outside and held everything together nicely. The petite local salad was just ok. The espresso is good here, I enjoy the fact that it is simple: coffee, espresso, tea and no unnecessary fake-sugar crap. The best you can do is a vanilla latte, no 'sugar free' which is good because that stuff isn't good for you anyways! Come here if you're looking for a good tasting espresso or a decent lunch.
