The chicken panini was perfectly warm with a creamy avocado that kept falling out of the toasted Chibatta. Good sandwich for a quick lunch - and affordable for this area. Will try something else like the Thai salad next time I return

We got the avocado salad and the kale salad. Dressings were unique and delicious. Everything was fresh. Coffee was delicious. They even have Diet Coke- thank goodness! Can't wait to come back.

My Mom had a recurring appointment for the last couple of years (every few months or so) across the street, so at anytime I chauffeur her, I make it a point to try a new spot on this block while waiting for her to get done. That said, I believe this spot is the last on my "to try" list. And to be honest, as many times as I've walked through this block, I never even really noticed this place until recently - but they were closing or closed at the time, so I vowed to try them out on Mom's next appointment run. It's kinda hidden, tucked away in a little corner, but don't let that fool you: they're pretty popular. There's seating for 4 on their patio area and maybe seating for 10 inside (more if you don't mind squishing in.) Most customers take their stuff to-go, though, so it really isn't an issue. Came through on a mid-week mid-afternoon and I haven't had anything all day. Since we were a bit early, Mom had time to get a snack. She wanted nothing more than a soup, so she went for the coconut red lentil (which came with a piece of bread) and and iced matcha latte. I was gonna go for the egg-cellent sandwich but soon as I saw the Lox Toast on their off-the-menu specials, it was a done deal. Had that with the iced chaga matcha. LOX TOAST: First bite and I was dunzo! I've had my share of lox toasts, but this might have just made my top 2. The bread was toasted soft. The avocado was fresh and creamy. They were generous with the amount of salmon and the topped onion served as a palate cleanser of sort while adding texture and flavor. If there was a reason to come back here, it's for this! ICED CHAGA MATCHA: I'm a fan of an iced matcha latte - doesn't matter where from, it's my go-to. However, this is the first time I've seen it as a "supercharged mushroom" version. I was far too curious, so I went for it. It still had that familiar matcha taste, but with added depth in flavor. (I have to apologize, it's a bit difficult to explain.) I'll just leave it at this: if you like matcha, try this. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 3.5. PARKING: There is a parking structure at the opposite end of the block - 2 hours free. Otherwise, metered street parking. OVERALL: 4.25. I think it's only a two (maybe three) person crew which explains why the tables don't get wiped down and the trash can getting neglected (it got so full, things were starting to spill out.) I told them about it and they were quick to resolve the problem. Other than that, woulda been a perfect 5. I'm a fan. I see why they're so popular. Will definitely come back to try their other eats!

Had hot chocolate and a lox toast for breakfast. Lox toast was fresh and delicious! Perfect portion for breakfast. I requested for hot chocolate with coconut milk. It was perfect with the right amount of sweetness and quality was great!

A lovely authentic cafe - marble counters, espresso machine - fresh flowers and the rare LA find: VEGAN CROISSANT! The gracious barista made for a pleasant encounter - His Bob Hoskins charm was sealed with a wink! The drip coffee though had all the screen command of Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston combined.

I ordered the Arugula salad and it came with missing ingredients. So odd. They didn't include the cherry tomatoes or the shallots. I just got a bed of arugula with cheese.

Had some time to kill and wanted a chill spot to hang out for a few hours. Stopped by Thursday noon for lunch. There was only one person sitting inside. Food + drink 5/5 Chicken Panini was delicious!! It was just the right portion for a quick yet filling lunch! Arnold Palmer was really yummy! Added one pack of brown sugar and it was just the right flavor! Refills are $1! Service 5/5 The gentleman helping me was patient and nice. The food came out within 5-10 minutes from when I ordered. Ambiance 4/5 Very calm and chill and away from the crowded streets or Beverly Hills. A little hole in the wall that can easily be missed! There's a very strong food smell inside so I chose to sit outside. Price 5/5 $19 for a yummy, healthy, and organic lunch! Overall 5/5 This is the perfect spot for those who work in the area or are just in a time crunch! I was in and out of there within 30 minutes even though I really took my time to eat!

It's a small but popular coffee shop in Beverly Hills. Two small outdoor tables are located outside, a few small tables inside and a wall counter with a few stools. They usually get busy during the morning and lunch time rush and rightfully so. Their Iced chai latte taste like horchata with the perfect amount of sweet. The chicken panini with bacon is my go to for lunch, perfect crisp with a generous amount of avocado spread between each bite served with a small side salad. Their prosciutto sandwich is also great on the run, you can ask them to warm it up and it's the perfect bite to go. I've probably had most of their desserts and although it changes every few months, they are all tasty. The best part is of course the staff. All of them are kind, always with a smile, and helpful even on the busiest of days. Taurino, Luis, Fernando, Felix & Tatiana do an incredible job running the coffee shop. Even if they have a long line, stop by. It's worth it. And be sure to sign up for their rewards.

Cute little cafe in Beverly Hills, one of many. Street parking, or you could park on Bedford in the flats and walk down into downtown LA. It's an orange themed cafe, the service was really good and the owner / cashier was super sweet and patient and attentive and I think that's what drove the ratings up. I had a to go order of a yogurt parfait and it was good, I wish there was more yogurt and less granola though. But I'd definitely try Comoncy in BH again... it's better than the other location. Would recommend!

Coffee is good. Service is consistently nice. The thai salad is a disaster -- old and greasy fried bits, tangy, and too salty. Besides the flavor, I'm dissatisfied that the leaves I got were "bottom of the container". I came 10 AM on Friday, and there was enough of a turnover to take out a new container of greens - couldn't I get salad from that new container? :( If I wanted slimy, soggy salad, I'd get mixed greens from Costco and leave it in my fridge for two weeks. I don't think I'll be buying food here again.

We randomly came here, because the place we originally was going to, had no cook atm & this place was right next to the car garage we parked at, so it was convenient, because we had a FREE 2 hour parking. Came in, the sign for food, was literally in the back, in a very narrow area. Not so convenient. I took a photo of the Breakfast menu, because standing there looking at it, I felt like I was going to be in the way of people, because this place is quite small. It's more for a "order, pick up and go" kind of place. The prices are quite high, but that's what you get for being in kind of like I guess the District area? Or is it just because it's Beverly Hills? We were visiting from the Bay Area so I'm not quite sure. Customer service was pretty nice and straightforward. Nothing bad about it. Food was good. I got the, "Egg-cellent Sandwich." It was actually really good, with a side of salad. I also got a mocha, with a, "fancy" design." My husband seemed to like his food too. So, basically the visit wasn't terrible or anything, so I would be back again, If I'm ever in Beverly Hills the next time I come visit Southern California. Hope they put the menu somewhere else though, or add another one behind the registers.

Love this tiny spot on Bedford! They make yummy soups, salads, and sandwiches. Plus I love their chai tea latte! My favorite salad was the kale with quinoa and parmesan. It was light, refreshing and healthy. They chop up the kale quite finely so it's easy to eat. I love the thin shavings of parmesan that they have. There is not a ton of seating so depending on the lunch rush, it might be better to get your food to go. Nice quiet place to meet for a coffee in the afternoon! read more

Love their soups, salads, sandwiches! It's all great. The coffee is fantastic. Service is a little slow but I spoke to the manager and it sounds like they are still working out some kinks. Great for some people watching on Bedford which is always entertaining during lunch hour. Highly Recommend this place! read more

We just wanted some quick sandwiches before a Saturday hair appointment but nothing was open before 11AM! We tried this place because it was open and it was a mistake to get anything more than coffee and a pastry. We got the chicken panini and it was full of fatty pressed/deli chicken/ partially inedible. We thought it would be fresh chicken. We wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Being that I work a few steps away from Comoncy, I have found this to be a weekly lunch retreat. The menu is simple and clean. The food is satisfying and lite on the tummy so I don't have that full and wanting to lay down feeling (Itis,lol) afterwards and seems that they use pretty good ingredients. The staff are personable and polite. They are very quick to have your order ready which I love! And the food does not look or taste like it was quickly thrown together which makes me feel it's money well spent and a feeling of be valued. I have yet to try their coffee drinks. But so far my favorite items are the Egg-cellent Sandwich, the Turkey sandwich, love the Chicken Panini and the Beverly Hills Club. Also like the fact that being in the heart of Beverly Hills, the prices are reasonable for the working class in the area. Dining in is pleasant, modern and simple. Love the Square payment method they use with the iPads. Definitely on my recommendation list. read more

THE BEST Caprese sandwich I have ever had! The ingredients are extremely fresh and full of flavor. Adorable little coffee shop in Beverly Hills. The exterior awning is orange, so it's not hard to miss it. I had their latte yesterday and it was strong and delicious! It definitely got me going for the day. I also loved the ambiance, it has a very European feel to it. Zack, the barista there is funny and amicable. Comoncy is just a cute European little cafe in the heart of BH The food is fresh, delicious, and looks beautiful . If u are a coffee drinker u would appreciate their quality of their coffee . I love their coffee and drinks as well. It is a small place sitting is limited. Parking plenty. My favorite is kale and chopped salads. When I am in BH I'm @comoncy for food or I pick up to go. They have one location in Studio city if u are in the valley make sure u check them out. U won't be disappointed read more

Get this almost every week. Not too heavy and just enough to fill me. The avocado toast is delish! Comes with a poached egg on top. This place is full on the weekends so sometimes to avoid the crowd I will order on my uber eats app. Their lattes aren't so bad either. About $5 for a grande sized cup. I usually get the vanilla. Although when I want a iced latte I prefer to go in and get it. They never read my comments "iced" when I request on my app. read more

I stopped by for coffee everyday for two weeks in a row when I first came to Beverly Hills. I would order a non-fat vanilla latte, and thought it was just fine. Nothing crazy, just a good latte. I came in one morning around my normal time, 6:50 AM, and waited at the counter for about 3 minutes before a guy came out to tell me to leave as they're not open. I reminded him that he had been serving me at the same time for two weeks already, and he told me that he didn't care. So, I went to Ferrarini down the street where they actually have good breakfast food to go, and good coffee. Oh, and they actually appreciated the business. If I were the owner, I'd make it a point to tell employees to treat regular customers better. Especially when they work around the corner in one of he biggest offices on the block. Word travels. read more

With a family member at a surgical center down the street, I needed a place to get me a quick and relatively healthy lunch. I was pointed to Comoncy and was very impressed! First of all, the chopped salad was fresh and delicious, and was a surprisingly large serving for a good price ($11, I think). But I was especially pleased with the pastries and wish I'd been there closer to the morning before many items were sold out. The standout was the morning bun, which looked very much like Tartine Bakery's version. Not quite there, but a fairly impressive clone. The bacon cheddar chive scone was great, and the canele was well flavored. For me, it was a little too soft in the middle, but still great. I may need to swing by the Studio City location if that's where their pastries are made. Must try more! read more

Saw this cute little hole in the wall place and decided to try it for lunch. Not a lot of choices, few sandwiches and salads and stuff. Ordered the tuna salad. (I had hoped to make one of their amazing looking sandwiches into a lettuce wrap but that is not an option there.) The tuna salad was some lettuce with a few cut up cucumbers and tomatoes then a scoop of tuna. Like tuna salad minus the mayo. It was ok. Not super amazing. Over all it was just an ok place. Ordered a hot vanilla latte and it had a pretty good balanced taste - perfect for the colder (slightly) drop in temperature. It was 5.45 including tax which isn't bad for Beverly. Love that it's on the same block as the two hour free parking structure. Definitely would drop by here again if I'm in the area. Cafe has a nice ambiance, servers are friendly. Not crowded but there were a few solo diners - I didn't wait to order. read more

Ordered the egg-cellent sandwich because the pic looked so amazing on uber eats. The sandwich was smaller than I expected and the bread was quite soggy at the bottom. Maybe if I had eaten it there I wouldn't have had that problem. Overall their menu of items seemed pretty healthy. I think I'll stop in to try their avocado toast when I'm in the area. read more

Cool little place in lame ass BH. It's around the corner from my nail salon so I decided to check it out. Appealing modern decor and great staff. Very friendly and helpful I had a cappuccino and the kale salad. Both were A-OK. Coffee was a little one-note. Not as full or rich in flavor as I like. Kale salad was pretty good with lots of ingredients. Lemon vinaigrette dressing was kind of bland. This salad would be better if a little more protein were added. Overall a good spot, but not sure if I will return.... Well maybe to try a couple of the other salads. read more

I love this place. I work down the street and am able to come here for a quick bite - when WME employees don't swarm it. The food and coffee are both great and delicious. I did, however, recently get an iced latte and a turkey sandwich and it came out to be around $18. For BH, that's about on par but for the rest of the world, a little pricey. Regardless, this place is a hit and quick. You can also order in advance which helps! read more

Comoncy is a great place for good caffeinated beverages (cold brew coffee/latte/tea). But, the cashier takes your order and makes all the drinks as well so the wait can be quite long when they're busy (early mornings and lunch times). They also serve breakfast, salads, soup, sandwiches (chicken panini!! but with a blaaand side salad), and sweet/savory pastries as well. Limited seating both inside and outside but the seats open up fairly quickly. It is quite pricey too but the quality of coffee makes up for the pricetag. read more

For a chain this is a quaint coffee shop. They have high quality food (don't worry, you'll be paying for it) coffee drinks and pastries. This location has a pastry "happy hour" if you purchase a drink in the late afternoon. Their avocado toast breakfast is hearty, on crunchy chewy french baguette, topped with two poached eggs and a side of greens. They offer salads and sandwiches, my favorite being The Bedford, for lunch as well as a daily soup. Since it is a small staff, but rather popular spot, there can be a bit of wait on your order so I recommend calling ahead for any lunch items. read more

Comoncy has a nice, cafe-like vibe and it is usually always busy during lunch time. They have a nice selection of salads and sandwiches, including some breakfast-for-lunch options as well. I've usually gotten the chicken panini, which comes with a side salad. For the price, which is consistent with other Beverly Hills options, it's a fair bargain. There isn't a whole lot of seating, so depending on when you arrive/day of the week, you may not be able to get a table and seats. Staff is friendly and move fairly quickly to help prepare your order. read more

Ate lunch but probably should have eaten breakfast instead. Super small sandwich and no refills on ice tea after an 11 dollar sandwich. Someone said it was all organic and they did offer gluten free bread, though when i ordered that, it looked like everyone else's bread so not sure that is what they gave me. I will try them for breakfast. read more

I always get the Turkey Panini but have tried their salads as well. The food is GREAT! you can always expect good food and great service from here. the wait can be long so i recommend you order your food ahead and just pick it up if you can! I would of gave this place 5 stars if it wasn't so darn expensive! but what else do you expect in Beverly Hills? read more

I spoke to some locals outside before they opened, and they weren't just lovely -- they also painted a pretty picture of what the overall vibe is here. It's clear a lot of people in the Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills area love coming here very frequently. Our server, who I assumed is named Nolan because that's what's shown on the receipt, was very accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. I think he did a fantastic job dealing with my difficult, picky gf. Haha. I can't say anything was less than stellar. The croquettes in that celery purée stuff were phenomenal. Garlic bread was seasoned and baked to perfection. The bone broth sipper was nourishing af. French fries were perhaps the best I've had in years. Wine service took roughly 20 minutes, dessert was noticeably delayed, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods throughout the evening. The most frustrating part came at the end of the meal when it took more than 25 minutes to receive the check. When it finally arrived, it was delivered by a manager in a manner that felt dismissive rather than hospitable. To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity had already been added to the bill. While I understand the practice in some situations, it felt particularly disappointing given the level of service we received throughout the evening. MATŪ serves outstanding food, and that is what earns this review more than a few stars. However, hospitality is about more than what comes out of the kitchen. For a restaurant operating at this price point, the service should match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, on this visit, it did not. I left impressed by the meal but disappointed by the overall dining experience, and I'm not sure I would return.

Egg sandwich is a must try. My go to for a weekend brunch! It comes with a healthy salad on the side with a light vinegarette dressing. Never too little bacon which I hate with some breakfast sandwiches. Sandwich is very filling. I can save half for a snack later. This place just opened close to my house, and it is by far the best espresso in LA! I've tried a lot of their sandwiches and salads, too, my favorite is the Quinoa and the Chopped - Both are super fresh! The decor is modern and also refreshing, I highly recommend. read more

Great little spot, love the salad and the sandwiches. I'll be back into this little gem. Every time I go to this place I'm extremely satisfied and happy.Parking is around the corner, two hours free parking right underneath the building. read more

My coworker asked me to stop in to get some coffee and baked yummys. We were really happy that we got coffee here. It's delicious. The staff is friendly and really know how to make a good coffee. read more

Always good until I found a little wormy in my salad...their response? "We're organic so of course these kinds of things happen" ....you're organic so you can't wash your lettuce? No thanks. read more
