Really good food. This is the first place to get my eggs right. Of course you will have to add salt and pepper to your eggs and hash browns but they are really good and you can taste the real butter. Good breakfast place. The jalapeno sausage gravy is pretty good but you can't go to wrong with breakfast. They are really nice people and they have all kinds of homemade jams. Kid friendly family oriented place. Makes you feel like your at home.

Cute place...let's start there. Ambiance very quaint, inviting...not from this side of town but definitely looks like a favorite for many peeps on that side. Service seemed a little slow, it took awhile to get our food and we only had two dishes one of which was a kids meal. Waiter was friendly and staff seemed friendly. They charged $6 for chips and salsa so just fyi...salsa was very good though, but come on...not $6 good. Kids meal was basic, $8 seemed like alot for what they got but was okay. The chorizo plate was very good, chorizo was tasty, beans were good. Bacon was nice and crisp as requested. Pretty basic breakfast. Served with tortillas....guys they weren't homemade which was a bummer, but they did their job. Coffee was good, and rootbeer float was good. This restaurant definitely has potential with some minor tweaks, but for $48 after tip, we most likely won't be returning. Just too many other places that don't charge for chips and salsa, have homemade tortillas (just my preference don't come after me), and get better quality food for your money.

Let me tell y'all something. This here restaurant is absolutely amazing. The food was great. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The only downside was them being so far from where we stay in Houston, which still isn't too far. Maybe 30 minutes away

Dropped in for a quick break, and to try the sausage gravy and biscuit. Also I appreciate the typical Texan diner decor and atmosphere: CW music and lots of western cashe. Biscuits were Ho-hum. Not very fluffy. Gravy was plentiful and strangely, not cooked with sausage but separately? This is weird.

Large menú so many options including for kid's meals!!! I love thise

We got the Strawberry Caprese salad, blackened ahi crudo, bourbon brisket and fries, cornmeal crusted catfish with sweet chili glaze over mushrooms risotto, and pig candy. 5/5 Strawberry caprese salad. Very nice and light salad. The balsamic vignerette is not overpowering which I enjoyed. Would get again. 4.5/5 Blackened ahi crudo. A little bit on the saltier side but still very enjoyable and tasty. Wonton crisp is nice addition. Good presentation. 5/5 Bourbon brisket & fries. Delicious burger. The brisket was delicious and mouthwatering along with the caramelized onions, and bread was mildly sweet and tasty. 5/5 corneal crusted catfish. Definitely one of the best catfish I've tasted. The top is crunchy and the glaze has a fruity flavor which paired well with the fish and risotto. Highly recommend! 3.5/5 Pig candy. I read some good reviews about the candy and decide to try it. It was too salty for me and I felt needed another glaze or salad to pair with. Not bad but just not a favorite. Enjoy!

I got the blacked ahi crudo and the cornmeal catfish with sweet chili glaze over mushroom risotto and wow! The crudo came with wonton chips and absolute perfection. Great flavor of citrus, seared tuna, and the right ratio of crudo to wonton chips. My lunch guest got the crawfish hush puppies which weren't as great as the crudo- dry but came with an amazing gravy so definitely soak them up in that, but was lacking crawfish- had to search for them in each hush puppy- trust me, get the crudo. The catfish dish- wow- large serving I had to take home the leftovers. The crispy cornmeal was perfect, the sweet chili glaze wasn't spicy but more like a sweet and sour sauce which sounds odd with catfish but it works! So delicious. And that bed of mushroom risotto- creamy, and with plenty of mushroom pieces, no skimping there and we're not taking about teeny pieces and sparse mushroom in this risotto, good size pieces and plenty! Although it was lunch we also added dessert- the banana foster egg roll, crispy on the outside, great cinnamon flavor, a delicious buttery sauce, so you can pour on top as much to as you like and a soft, sweet, delicious banana filling. Perfect end to the meal on a sweet note. and then also had the black Aji tuna nachos so good lots of flavor some citrus to it. Mushroom risotto amazing. Service: impeccable. Everybody was super nice very helpful and the ambiance was like a sophisticated, relaxed atmosphere focused on comfort and unhurried conversation. I loved everything about the experience and would definitely go again.

There was live music playing outside, but we chose to sit indoors that day. The hostess opened the front door right away to show us inside. The chicken fried steak was outstanding and very tender. I liked that the delicious gravy came on the side so the steak stayed crispy. The sides were also outstanding. In 2026, that's an unnecessary inconvenience and shows a lack of investment in the customer experience. Between the overpriced, mediocre dessert and the outdated payment options, this was a thoroughly disappointing visit.
