For something so heartbreaking, we knew when they left that we had made the right decision for Tank. He was our sweet French Bulldog, diagnosed with aggressive stomach cancer at just four years old . One of our close friends recommended Compassionate Hands, and we've never been more grateful. We had originally planned to take him to the vet -- the place he feared most -- but learning about Compassionate Hands changed everything. You helped Tank pass peacefully and brought him back to us so beautifully. Thank you, truly, for the kindness, care, and compassion you give to families like ours. It means more than words can say.

Mr Henry, always and forever in my heart.

Dr Katrina & Rebecca are true Angels. They came to my home which is way out of the way to help us say goodbye to our kitty. They are kind, compassionate, present, loving, sacred, respectful, and professional. We were honored and blessed to have them help us say goodbye to our baby.

    Our sweet girl Scout!

It has been 6 months since Compassionate Hands came to our home and gave us the most peaceful farewell for our sweet old gal, Scout. I can't believe it took me so long to write the review because I have thought regularly of how grateful I am for the service they provided. Scout was treated with such dignity and care, as were her mourning humans. Everything was done at our speed and they were so good at matching our energy, as we vacillated between sobbing and cracking mildly inappropriate jokes. There is no easy way to say goodbye to a beloved pet, but Compassionate Hands offered the best experience we could have hoped for.

My husband and I couldn't recommend this service more. They made the worst day of my life so much easier and we're very gently explaining to me the process. We were not rushed at all during this process. They even took time with our other animal so he was comfortable as well. We definitely owe them a can of cheese wiz! They also saw us and how much we loved and cared for our pet. Told us how great we did with keeping the dog clean given his circumstances. They didn't judge that our home was a bit out of order either. I will definitely be using these services again. It is worth every cent they charge. It took about 2 weeks to get back the cremation and other effects. I'll be seeking a shipping address for them around the holidays so I can send over some home baked treats. What you ladies do is so important and special.

Just had to have our 15 1/2 old Aussie Banjo put down. They were so caring and loving to our family pet. Gave us all the time we needed. They really did make us feel like they were taking care of him like he was their own!

I recommend them to everybody who has to put their fur baby down. Very sweet and kind and gentle I couldn't have asked for anything better.

She explained the whole process that the medication would have on his body and gave us plenty of time with him. She also provided a paw print and offered a keychain with his hair in it, no extra charge. I will use her again when the time comes for my next dog if we are still in town. I have recommended her to other people and they appreciated her as well.

Definitely a sad day when you have to fathom putting your family pet down. If you have a family pet…read morelike we did, this is the most calming and peaceful way to put your family pet down. I would say it takes roughly half an hour, talking over your family pet, as they calmly give your family pet a three step process. Dr Martin was very gentle with our family dog Miles and as we spent our last moments with him, she peacefully sedated him, as well as talked us through their process. Instead of putting your dog and your family through the stresses of a veterinary office definitely give A Peaceful Process a call. You can schedule your appointment online and the will work with your schedule. This isn't the easiest review to make but when it comes to your family pets calm and restful passing, as well as your mindset going through losing wha most would say is a member of your family, this is the way to go about that.

Well, Michelle, you got a one-star review from me this morning, because I really needed you today…read moreand I called and you didn't answer. I got sent to a robot voice who told me your voice mail box had not been set up. How do you expect to be in business for yourself when this is what happens when we try to call you? REVISION: Michelle responded quickly to my one-star review and I want to change that to a four-star review, because everything I've read sounds like she's amazing and wonderful, and she responded to my complaint very quickly. I'm sure I'll give her that fifth star as soon as I get a chance to ride with her. Michelle, I apologize for being cranky. I was in a car accident a few months ago and have a herniated disc in my neck, and two pinched nerves with bulging discs in my back, plus I twisted my knee a couple of days ago on top of that. So I've been in a lot of pain and was really hurting and stressed out. This is going to be a long story, but I want you to understand there were some serious extenuating circumstances to my rude review. I was meeting some prior very special students of mine from Bakersfield, who I rarely get to see, and who had taken the train to visit me at the Renaissance Faire. They were only going to be here for a little while, as they were taking the train back home at 2:30 pm, so I was REALLY struggling to get ready to meet them (it's really hard to get dressed quickly when you're in all of this pain ). Then I tried to get in my car and I realized my knee had gotten so swollen I couldn't get it to bend enough to do that. So then I was really freaked out. I have a wonderful private driver I use now and then when my car is in the shop or I have to go to the train station, and I called him but he was on an out-of-town pick-up and couldn't get to me quickly. So I tried three more people and was really frustrated that no one answered their phone. So that's the state of mind I was in Michelle, when I wrote that review, and I apologize and thank you for your quick response. I'm looking forward to doing business with you, and I promise you I'm not a cranky old lady. Cianne ~
