Vanilla bean lattes (one with pistachio milk & one with dairy milk); the most unique milk substitute we've seen in WeHo so far
    Jodie F.

Saw that they have pistachio milk, had to visit! It was about $13 for two 16-oz lattes with syrup (+ $1) & milk substitution (+ $.50). Most cafes charge like $1 for milk subs so this was very reasonable. It's definitely the most affordable coffee place we tried in WeHo so far. My latte with pistachio milk was pretty good! Hope they expand the menu, would love to try different flavors. My boyfriend's latte with dairy milk was underwhelming. We barely tasted the espresso. Will give it another try & ask for less milk next time haha. Small store with indoor & outdoor seating available. Street parking only.

Not sure if the name came from what I'm about to say, but this cute spot has a compellingly good iced coffee. Sometimes you find a good cold ice coffee and after a few sips it hits you "Wow, this is fantastically good coffee!" I had one of those moments today after ordering. From what I saw it's street parking only. However, I was able to park on the street for free before 11am on Sunday! Score!

Though this place is located in one of the newest buildings in the block (the line lofts) there is sketchy activity going on in the street so please don't seat on the tables outside if you're just a girl by yourself. Now the coffee and pastries is what drawn my friend and I into this place. We ordered the breakfast sandwhich (egg, bacon, avocado and chipotle on ciabatta... very compelling for sure!), the blueberry mufin and the orange pastry to share. All three were delicious and pretty filling for a shared breakkie. The coffee was solid and yummy as well. I love the inside plants and the attention. We got here pretty early one weekday morning and the guy in there was super attentive. I will be back accompanied again soon. Street parking.

Great service .fast to service. They have the cleanest oat milk with no fillers . Love the mocha and it right next to the pretty woman hotel with the balcony.

What a great spot! Super friendly staff (Tatiana is really nice), cute interior, great coffee and really fulfilling food. I've a breakfast sandwich and a cold brew. 10/10!

Good overall coffee! Super convenient for the folks that live in the neighborhood! I was basic and ordered the vanilla latte with almond milk. It was good and much needed for my commute to work.

Came here three days in a row because it was walkable from my hotel in WeHo - and because the coffee and food is awesome. I tried: + cold brew + breakfast sandwich + ham and cheese croissant + turkey sandwich (the best food offering, definitely get this) + yogurt with jam and granola Super friendly baristas, too!

I'm compelled to tell others about this coffee shop. Truly tiny yet mighty. A few blocks off the busy drag of Hollywood Blvd is Compelling Coffee. While it is simply a pick up window and a one seat coffeeshop, they focus on their pride and joy: Coffee. They honestly make a mean latte, cappuccino, and drip coffee. The Good Food Award medals only go to prove my point. I appreciate the fact that their coffee is ethically sourced and roasted locally in LA. I also love the option of oat and pistachio milk as an alternative milk offering (+.75 cents). While I have already been here twice, I foresee myself returning in the near future. The friendly staff, delicious lattes and chocolate banana bread (which also happens to be gluten free) are all stellar.

A few other people arrived just after me, but they seemed to know it was closing. Oops! Once it dawned on me, I grabbed a couple of too tempting items and made my way forward. I was pleasantly asked how I would like to pay and I said whichever is convenient. Of course the register had been closed out, so Apple Pay was handy. I apologized for not being aware and was waved off with a smile and heartfelt 'No worries.' Later at home, the brightly colored tapioca and coconut treats were an absolute delight, but the sticky rice mango for just $10 was an absolute MUST! Now I know, when I'm craving this dessert, I can head to CoCo's - in the MIDDLE of business hours! - to repeat this lovely treat. Parking is easy and free and it's in the heart of Thai Town, so it's legit! I also am curious to see how many more tempting baked goods, hot grab-to-go snacks and desserts are offered during peak hours. Many shelves of unique(to me) eats are well displayed and prices are well marked. It feels like a neighborhood bakery and snack shop, which is exactly what it is. Very comfortable, welcoming, clean and nice. Items are made fresh to be consumed fresh. Don't purchase more than you can eat on the day. I can see where that would be a challenge in the future, but it's a challenge I'm willing to accept. Cheers! "CC"

I understand that condensed milk is a defining ingredient in Vietnamese coffee, and it's something I usually enjoy. However, I found both drinks noticeably sweeter than I prefer. I don't mind sweetness, but these leaned a bit too heavily in that direction for me, which ended up masking some of the coffee's flavor. That said, the café is located in a pleasant neighborhood and has a welcoming atmosphere. It's a comfortable spot to relax, meet friends, or work. Got Get Em has become my go-to spot for getting work done, taking coffee meetings, and honestly just starting the day at this point many morning out of the week. I'm over a year into being a regular here and I still haven't found a place near me thats better for what I need for the early morning work sessions. The coffee is great!. I rotate between their drip coffee (which changes regularly) and their house-made almond and macadamia milk latte, which is one of my favorite lattes Ive had in LA. That house milk blend is the move. I also love their food and their chef and kitchen staff is exceptional at that they do.
