Unfortunately, the installers showed poor workmanship and lacked attention to detail. They called to tell me that they finished my floors and in the seconds it took for me to walk over from my neighbors' place, they were already at the elevator leaving for another job, not giving me a chance to do a walk thru and discuss the results with them. My new LVP floors had obvious and unsightly holes at multiple edges in my living room and kitchen. Upon seeing photos, Liliana/Luis agreed they should return to fix them. This happened after two additional weeks with multiple days of no-shows, last second cancellations and delayed communications. While it may have been unintentional, it was unprofessional and frustrating. I gave them many chances to make things right, when the job should have been done with more integrity in the first place. I worry how long my new flooring will last, based on the quality of the installation.

My wife had to call and ask where they went. They didn't even glue down several of the stairs and they installed. I had to remove and reinstall all of their work and as an amateur, i did better on my first try than these "experts" did. This is a disgraceful company with poor ethic and I sincerely hope you avoid them. If you value your home, you will run the other way.

Great experience working with Victor and his installation team…read more My house is 23 years old and well built. I wanted to replace the cartridge in the kitchen faucet and by the time I got damn thing out, I had torn out the sink and some of the laminate! My girlfriend saw my handiwork and said, "Oh good! Now you can buy granite! This is great!" At first I was shocked. Only rich people buy granite. Well, not anymore. I think granite is fantastic. I was referred to Victor by an appraiser. Victor did exactly as the appraiser said he would. We agreed in advance on the following: I would break and make the plumbing and the cooktop and install new backspashes. Victor would tear out the old countertops and backsplashes and seal the granite. Victor measured precisely and provided excellent recommendations. The installation team handled the little "surprises" easily- added epoxy to fill a hole in cabinet where the old cooktop was and chiseled out the drywall where it was a little high in corner joint and chiseled the cabinet where needed for sinks. They've got a great electrical chisel/cutter tool that works on vibration. I got one for myself so I can rebuild the cabinet "floor" under the sinks and cooktop. 3 granite seams are nearly invisible. I paid $7600 for 84 sq ft of countertops (3 in the kitchen, 1 hall bath, 1 master bath). He used 2 big sheets of granite (I am responsible for cost of an entire sheet of granite including leftovers so let him help you plan how you will use your slab. They come in different sizes). So that's $91 per square foot. Seems expensive, but it was worth it to me. I love beautiful high quality stone and workmanship and I got all of that! We visited a lot of small granite outfits and box stores before we met Victor. These outfits sell their own granite but the selection is limited and they are displayed in a way that is hard to see- little samples or whole sheets stacked up like doors in a hardware store. Victor referred me to a granite showroom in Seattle called Pental. They've got a HUGE selection of granite displayed so you can see the whole slab in good lighting. Absolutely gorgeous stuff. I picked a mid-price granite called Astoria. It has the elements that make me happy just to look at it- natural like a sandstone cliff or a dry stream bed, flowing lines in mostly tan with highlights of salmon and black. Plus little sparkles like the inside of an oyster that flash at you as you move around the kitchen. You can almost hear the sound of tumbling water and see the trout in there! Absolutely beautiful! All of the sinks are under-rmount- the only way to go for me. So easy to wipe the counters. Victor's team installs 2x4 side supports for the kitchen sink because of the additional weight a large sink could hold. I was lucky in that my fake oak cabinets with real oak doors and frames were good enough quality that the instl was strong and level. Turns out the color of the stone complimented the honey oak color of the cabinets. I hadn't planned on that nice surprise! Victor and his team are on time for estimate and installation. Very pleasant guys to work with. I haven't installed the faucets and wall tile yet. Still washing up in the laundry tub!

We also had an additional cut that he did no-cost (we picked up the extra piece at their warehouse). But our very last interaction leaves an awful taste in our mouth. We asked him to come back briefly to drill a hole (5 minutes + driving). We told him it was not urgent, and to come out anytime in January. He texts at 7AM suddenly saying "OMW there by 8am" - no advance scheduling or notice, just "I'm almost there". Then a 'He said/she said': we were told by our general contractor drilling a hole would be free, Victor shows up, prepared to drill, and says "I would never come out for free - $150 visit fee". I've got 2 kids (1 sick) in the other room, and he springs a negotiation on me very-last-minute like that? We've been texting, asking "anytime this month". He said "well, I'll take $100 cash". Clearly was a money grab. (Later in the day realizing I should have just drilled the hole myself...) So install went well, but awful experience at the end. My fault for not asking about a visit fee before, but his fault for not communicating at all and for an obnoxious cash-grab.

The store had a good selection of flooring to choose from and Francisco and his son Frank were knowledgeable about what flooring would be best. The estimate to take out the flooring and install the new one was fair and honest. (I got another estimate that was thousands of dollars more.) The floor is in and it's absolutely beautiful. I think it will probably last longer than I will, but that's good! Thank you Francisco and Frank for making this an easy process. Trust is so important in these kinds of transactions and I appreciate all you did for me.

We have had such a horrible experience with the floor store and are still suffering 8 months later…read more We hired the floor store based on good reviews on the island, only to find out later the store was purchased by Frank J's Carpet Installation (based in Renton) and all the good reviews were for the previous ownership. We contacted Frank to see if they could install bamboo hardwoods we had purchased elsewhere, and Frank came over to give a quote. He said they had a lot of experience with this type of flooring (click & lock) and even declined when I offered the installation guide that came with the materials. Flash forward to a few days later, we come home after a day of work to find they did a truly horrific job. We had to walk around the house marking things with blue tape where they needed to re-do pieces that looked awful, cuts that didn't fit, etc. We ended up firing them before they could do the stairs because I was confident they would not be able to handle the precision cuts. Their price was the most expensive of any quote we got, but Frank reassured me they are island-based and take care of islanders. What a joke! When they finished, you could walk around and feel that the floor was completely uneven and there was give in certain spots. During out initial consultation Frank had assured me they would level the floor where needed, including using leveling compound, and told me we didn't have to remove the subfloor. He clearly had no idea what he was talking about, because 8 months later I have floor buckling, sticking out, and cracking. It is like walking through land-mines in our house, and every day I am scared a new piece will buckle, stick up, and trip me while I am carrying my baby. Twice now Frank has sent one of his sub-contractors to fix the floor, and within a few days the problem has returned. The only real solution would be for someone to pull up the entire floor and start over again. Frank demanded we pay full price, even when it was clearly a hack job, and showed up at my house demanding payment. Eventually my husband had to contact him to get some of the money refunded because it was clear we are going to have to get a real professional in here to fix things, and he refunded a few hundred dollars. He even told my husband "it's not my guys' fault, he doesn't know how to work with hardwoods." after he had reassured me his employee had experience working with our product. I am disgusted at the way this business is run, and the true hazard they have left us to deal with. I would strongly advise anyone looking at using their services to look elsewhere.
