This Complete Collision CARSTAR Body Shop ripped me off. I don't recommend anyone to go this Body Shop my insurance company send me to this body shop to replace my front bumper, but their work was substandard. after down the front bumper replacement then I found the damage my Car roof above of the windshield . There was clearly big dent and hole on my Car roof above of the windshield . If you give a closer look it clearly shows that the damage is very new . when I try to complain the lady she was so rude on me. She was very unprofessional start arguing with me without checking or looking at the damage . I was really surprised that was insane. the rude lady was prepared for this complain. She didn't try to listen my complain at all. In fact, she already knew they did the damage, that's why when I complain about the damage she wasn't surprised and she didn't ask me anything just right the way she was mad on me . This is totally unprofessional behavior. I'm going to report better business bureau. I talked with her manager and he said he will investigate and then he will call me back . I'm quite unhappy unsatisfied with this Body Shop. read more

I was referred to this place by an insurance company after my accident, and let me say - they are exceptional. They were super friendly and understanding. Travis was the specialist I was assigned to and he was communicative and full of knowledge. He went above and beyond to explain what he saw and what he thought would be done to my car. It only took 3 days for the repair and when it was time to pick up - my car was not only fixed, but they washed it (it also looked like they POLISHED it!!) and vacuumed my floors. It's more trouble than I hoped for especially for a simple job. They told me 4 days and they ended up keeping the car for more than a week because they are backed up. On top of that, I had to call them to find out about when will it be done. The guy we dealt with made a poor excuse on why he couldn't call me. Shows so much professionalism right there. When I finally got the car, he didn'tinput the mileage when the car went in their shop. He used the mileage during the estimate which was two weeks prior to the job. There's more confusion and corporate finally got involved. Lastly, I noticed some of the electronics in my car aren't functioning well. My experience in this shop is less than stellar and I rather not go back. I wouldn't recommend anyone going in this shop despite being suggested by your insurance. What a joke. "Work is Guaranteed for life" ...unless of course you didn't realize a seemingly unrelated problem you have with a different system was actually a result of a failed part they installed a year and a half ago. And by the time you've realized it was something they did, you've already invested a few hundred bucks in labor and parts to a different auto shop. So when you call CarStar back, they say there's nothing they can do as far as reimbursement because the problem was already addressed by someone else. Won't be going back here. Ever. read more

Horrible customer service. They did not go over the bill or repairs with me. Had to call several times just to see where the status of my car was. Basically handed me the keys and told me not to wash my car with any additives. I walked around the car several times, and no one even came out to see what I was looking at. Bad body lines, did not fix the scratches in the front bumper, back rear had a dent next to the repair they did. They quoted me at approxamently $1200, ended up being around $3500. Told me it was going to take 3-5 days. Ended up being close to 3 weeks. They said it needed a frame stretch, and that was the reason for the delay. Never did I see that repair on the bill, but like I said no one went over it with me. I was so mad after seeing the repairs and how long it took I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I brought my car in for some insurance paid work after someone backed into my car in a parking lot. They had quick attentive service, good follow-up, and the estimate took no more than 15 minutes. They have coffee, candy, and magazines in the office (but you wont wait long enough to read a magazine or drink a cup of coffee). They had my car repaired in the stated time, and kept my up to date about progress (your car will be ready by... etc). They'll arrange your rental car pick-up/drop-off as well. I was very happy with the work and the warranty (lifetime on paint). A couple months later, I needed to return to have some body work done (cash instead of insurance). I got quotes from a couple of other places just to make sure I was paying the best price, they were the cheapest comparable body shop from Federal Way to Seattle. They do great work, definitely get a quote from them if you are getting work done. Don't hesitate to bring your car here if an insurance company sends you. read more

Stay away! Brought my car in after an accident. Took way longer then they told me but I was ok with that, kind of expected. When came back to pick up my car, there were pieces in the car that were not put back, minor things. However, makes me think what else they forgot to put back. The bumper was visibly misaligned. What really irritated me the most is that the trunk doesn't close properly, misaligned. Had to take the car back two more times. Again poor communication, took longer than expected but they didn't hesitate to call. Finally, when I came back to pick up my car, there was still the same problem with the trunk. I was told that it's the best they can do! There is also this rattling noise coming from the trunk, I'm sure they forgot to tighten something! Extremely disappointed! read more

Took our Yukon in to have repairs done. Quoted 8 days and under $2500 in damages. Turns out our car had more damage, they communicated 100% of the time, kept us updated as to the progress of our repairs, handled everything through our insurance company, washed the car, DETAILED it to the fullest (no charge), free car wash within 30-60 days, lifetime warranty on the work done! Ren (production manager) is stellar and explained everything from start to finish! Very professional, kind, and we highly recommend Carstar for all of your repairs! I had a diesel truck tear the front off of my Dodge Ram 2500. It barely drove into the shop. They were courteous, helpful and handled all the paperwork for my insurance and Julie was fantastic, she is the manager. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality repair. They were forthcoming with the time frame for the repair as well and kept me up to speed with any issues. I have had bad experiences with other shops but this shop in Federal Way is top notch! They did a horrible job. Their job was to replace the windshield and sunroof glass. In order for the windshield in my car to be replaced one has to remove the side trim piece. They didn't properly put the trim piece back and it was falling off. As for the sunroof it leaked, and I had to hire someone to fix that for which I had to pay more than $200. They had to do two things to my car and they failed at doing both. Avoid this place, their work quality is poor. read more
