But we always try them before going to a big box store. This past weekend we needed to rent a carpet cleaner and just had the BEST experience with the lady working at the front. She was just super nice and made sure the unit was clean. When we returned it she asked how everything went and made sure we were happy. When we were walking out my husband turned to me and said "and that's why I'll always come here first."

I asked one of the 6 people heading to the break room if they could help me with my issue and they either ignored me or said they can't and shrugged and continued on their way.

I will often go to the Issaquah Lowe's if I need to do something that requires talking to a person. Their staff is ample and friendly and knowledgeable where here at the landing (which is way closer to me than Issaquah) it is hard to find someone and when you do you need to badger them to help you. Also they require you to BUY WOOD before they will cut it to size for you. What's the deal with that? I have to lug a bunch of plywood to the front of the store for you to then cut it to size for me after I lug it back to the cutting station at the opposite end of the store from where the checkout counter is. That's crazy. Don't do that, I don't do anything lumber related that isn't just buying 2x4's from Renton Lowe's anymore. Any Home Depot & Issaquah Lowe's are getting all of my business that requires more than just my own hands and the self checkout. People that I do interact with when I'm walking in or doing the self checkout are pleasant. And there's a guy there that works behind the paint desk, and he's very nice. Oh and they have good bathrooms. Very convenient because sizzle dog is right there and sometimes during lunch ya gotta run in to make a quick deposit mid hotdog ya know.

We had actually stopped at the Lowe's in Tukwila first, but I was surprised to find their shelves so empty--they were completely out of stock. Coming here was the right move! The store was clean, well-organized, and had exactly what we needed. I also felt that the prices here are generally more affordable compared to Lowe's. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, with staff members greeting us as we walked around. Even at the self-checkout, the attendant was very kind and helpful. Overall, a very satisfying shopping trip!

home depot order: 4054 313800…read more cancellation: 7/8/26 2:21p invoice 7972616 - Cust Svc Rep: Wendy reason below: We are originally ordered Harmony Outdoor Brands Harmony Ryegrass Sod (500 Sq Ft Direct Delivery Pallet) from Home Depot and was told it would arrive in 6 -9 days. I think it was the next day that we got a message that JB had the grass and would bring it the following day. We thought that was odd to get the call re grass delivery so fast. I received a message from JB that said they are bringing the product "Sod Type: Pacific NW Blend Instant Lawn" . that same day that i received the text, I returned Home Depot and cancelled the order. On Wednesday, July 9 JB delivered the canceled order anyway. I Liraine at JB and asked them to pick it up because we canceled the order and the product is still sitting in the same spot, 24 hours later as of Fri 7/10. After over 5 calls to various people on Home Depot's team, the problem (cancelled order of raw blend) is still waiting to be resolved (sitting on our curb). The team that I discussed the problem with include April, Colby, supervisor LJ, and finally Manager Wayne, 2x on 7/9/26.

Since moving to Cap Hill last month, I've visited this store various times for help with different…read morerepairs around my new apartment and every time the employees are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. When I was struggling to mount a shelf, I got advice from one of the employees who was super friendly and explained to me exactly how to screw in the L brackets I was struggling with. He walked me over to the aisle and showed me exactly which screws would and wouldn't work for my project and explained to me how the screws would interact with different wall materials. Most recently I dropped by just before they closed to pick up drywall paste and a pallette knife. Despite me walking in ten minutes before they were supposed to shut, they didn't make me feel rushed at all and helped me find what I was looking for. I always prefer supporting a local business and I love having a neighbourhood hardware supply store I can count on with employees who feel kinda like family.
