My computer wouldn't turn on anymore and it turns out it just needed new batteries. They don't charge to just diagnose your computer issue unlike how some other places do. I am so thankful I live just 6 minutes away from them. If I could give them 10/10 stars, I would. Victor was really helpful right from the start. He advised me to take my macbook pro to the Apple store to get my GPU fixed and be persistent about it since it has been a recurring problem for 2011 MBPs. Apple eventually offered a service package to fix the problem. This proves that Computer Doctors are here to help - they could've taken my business by not telling me about their clients' past experience but they did. Kudos to that. I also had a fault hard drive which I needed to get the data out and they ran diagnostics for free and recommended me another place to get it fixed since they do not have the technology to do so. Bought my ram online and took it in. 20 minutes later I walk out with the ram installed for $25. Geek squad and the likes would have charged over 100. They actually have a nice waiting area where I chilled until I was called back. There I was given a personal consult which they seeM to do for everyone. They take you into a cubicle and sit you down. Got my MacBook fixed there for around $600 because they had to order a new screen for me from apple and replace the old one. Everything was fine until my screen started shutting down all the time while I was in the middle of working and crazy audio issues (other issues as well). I took it too a new shop and the owner showed me that they had used fake parts that I paid so much for because I thought they were from apple. The parts were cheap to begin with! So angry read more

Super grateful for this hidden little shop. Long story short, I accidently ran over my laptop with my car (didn't realize my backpack hadn't been put in the trunk when I pulled out in reverse). I needed to extract all of my data from a laptop that was no longer functional. They were able to do this same day and put everything onto an external harddrive for me. Seems to be family owned and the service was kind, helpful, patient. Pricing was fair and came with some helpful advice for future harddrove and computer purchases. I realized that I did not come back to give these guys a solid 5 star review for the actual service that they provided to me for my 5 year old HP computer. My computer was dying, so I remembered what a great experience I had when I took my Apple there for them to just check it out, giving me the diagnosis and not charging me a fee. I remembered how honest they were and the convenient location. I dropped my computer off, and I received a call from Victor maybe the day after letting me know that the motherboard was gone and I would need a replacement. I had researched other computers before taking it in, so I already made up my mind that I did not see any computers out there that could take the place of my baby. lol Victor quoted me the price and it was cheaper than getting a new one at the time. I told him to go ahead and fix it. I do not remember exactly how long it took them to repair it, but it was not long at all. I went to pick my computer up, we sat down and he showed me the old motherboard. Then he turned my computer and showed me where the files were that they backed up. I had a lot of music and other files on that I did not backup, so I was pleased that they were able to save them. I now backup my files just in case. My computer was like new and I was so happy. They were very nice and fixed my computer for a better deal than what I thought I'd have to pay. Constantly gave me time and pay quotes and didnt work on anything they didnt think they could fix just so they could charge me for nothing or anything scummy like that, and asked my confirmation that I still wanted the job done after giving me the price quote. Would definitely use their services again! The issue they fixed for me was my computer had some water damage that resulted in the screen becoming extremely dim (you could see a faint outline of what was on the screen but it wasn't backlit at all). They checked to make sure none of my computer was corroded from the damage first, then confirmed the problem would be best resolved by replacing the screen. The process took a little lesd than a week, which was super quick considering I brought it in on the weekend. read more

I'm fairly knowledgeable about computers, having built my own gaming/editing PC, but when my computer stopped booting up all of a sudden, I found these guys on yelp -- which turned out to be the best thing Yelp's ever done for me. I could talk for an hour on how great my experience was, but I'll try to sum it up in a few sentences: I would recommend this service to ANYONE with ANY type of computer issue. From the superb customer service to the price, there's nowhere in town that's better. From day one, I knew Victor, Joshua, Luis, and the rest were professionals who were passionate about their craft and the magic of technology. They were attentive in listening to my problem, and then instead of just taking my PC and sending me away, they spent a lot of time explaining what the different problems might be, teaching me about how computers worked in a way that made me feel like I was learning and a part of the repair process. After a day they were able to determine that it was my motherboard that needed replacing, and then helped me step by step in the process of how to request a replacement from the company. Then, when the company was being difficult in several different ways that resulted in them not sending me the correct parts for almost two months, Computer Doctors continued to provide exceptional service, despite the delay. I got a diagnosis - turns out both cables were dead, what are the chances - and they're even letting me borrow their charger until I can get a replacement, all for free!
