You can enjoy delicious drinks and foods with plenty of seating inside (and even more seating in the shared patio space in front). The parking lot is large, so we found parking with ease. Upon entering, we were greeted by the staff. I immediately noticed the "instagram-able" hanging seat with a flower backdrop. The cafe had an abundance of colorful decor and wall art. The comfortable tufted velvet seating matches the playfully vibe of the place. Drink orders Refreshers: -Horchata Made in house, creamy with a very sweet cinnamon flavor. -Pepino Con Limon Made in house, a wonderfully refreshing drink that is on the sweeter side Specialty Lattes: -Dulce De Leche (+ extra caramel, no ice) The staff was very accommodating. Ordered "iced" w/out ice. Flavor is coffee forward, but the drink is also very sweet. (Reminds me of the strength of sweet Vietnamese coffee). -Spanish latte (iced +vanilla foam) Great coffee flavor with a nice balance of creamy sweetness (creamier and a more balanced when compared to a Dulce De Leche). A wonderful drink if you want a coffee dessert drink. -Matcha Cloud - seasonal drink Coconut water with Matcha Foam is a wonderful pairing. The sweet coconut water really is refreshing without being too "sugary", while the matcha foam adds subtle matcha flavor that elevates the drink. This drink is perfect if you don't want something overly sugary/sweet. Snack: Next to the register, they sell a small variety bag of their pastries. The pastries are small bite sized pieces of the Larger pastries they offer. A great way to taste the various flavors and types of pastries, at a very reasonable price. Restroom: The restroom is a single stall restroom "disguised" as a refrigerator door on the back wall of the cafe. The restroom is spacious and clean. It contains a single toilet and sink with a mirror. The restroom door is very thick, and has two sliding door latch locks. This used to be a Starbucks, and now it's a Con Azucar Cafe. I tried their coffee, pastry, and sandwiches. The drinks are pretty rich and sweet. The pastry was tasty. The sandwich was just okay for me...a bit too much meat and too salty. The interior though, is pinky/brownish and flowery. It looks like something that would photograph really well for Instagram. Prices are on the higher side. The staff are generally nice. It's nice to have a cafe in the neighborhood... but I still miss my Starbucks. read more

Wanted to try out a new cafe and this place popped up. Ordered some drinks from their Protein x Cafecito line up and food like their Torta and Avocado toast. Their protein drinks are alright. The strawberry one is my favorite just because it's a blended drink. Their Banana and other drinks are strong but if you like coffee you might like them. Their food on the other hand are great. Stumbled on this place while waiting for my partner to do their dental work. The employees here are kind and telling all their good food and drink choices. I got the bacon egg cheese croissant, and a Shaken Brown Sugar Expresso (iced). The drink was great. The sand was good, but was hard to eat in the middle. The place reminds me of eating in Mexico. I recently discovered this cafe because it's on the way to my current place of work, and the experiences both times have been nothing short of amazing. The baristas/people working were so kind and always greeted customers with a smile on their face. They were very patient with me while I was trying to figure out my order and were also very helpful in aiding me to pick out my order. The drinks are so delightful, the coffee is not too sweet which is the way I like it but it is also strong in the sense that it holds its own flavor profile. I think the drinks I've tried have been super refreshing and tasty! I also got to try a few of the pastries such as the avocado toast and one of the turtle pastries, my boyfriend also got a 3-cheese grilled cheese and I have to say, everything was extremely good. I'm usually quite scared when I get avocado toast at places because I fear it will literally just be avocado, on toasted bread. But the avocado toast was perfectly seasoned, it was riddled with lemon flavor which I love when avocado is mixed with lemon juice. That to me, is like the perfect flavor combo. So I thought it was really refreshing and it was super good! The toast was nicely buttered for both the avocado toast and the grilled cheese. I also really love the vibe/aesthetic of this cafe. It's very homely and whimsical, I love that they had pastries in the shape of little turtles and the bathroom door was shaped like a refrigerator. Everyone there, including the customers, were all super duper nice and friendly and it just felt so nice and calming to be here. I've visited this location numerous times over the past couple of years as it is in the silver creek evergreen area and my go to drink is their iced matcha horchata. It's delicious and makes me crave more. Its unique is taste and I love how they offer fusion drinks and desserts. They also have pan dulce and other authentic Mexican pastries. When they first opened, they would do cute art on the drinks and the designs change every so often. Really pretty Hispanic coffee shop. Love the decor. BF and I needed a pick me up and decided to try this place as it was on our way home. She got a regular Mexican black coffee already sweeten which she said was good. I got a mocha latte special Willis was still too sweet even though I cut some of the syrup down. This was the second Con Azúcar Café location we went to today. The first one downtown was honestly a waste of money. Not great service and kind of felt like false advertising After that experience, we drove here and decided to give it one more chance... and I'm so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was completely different, super welcoming and friendly. We asked if they could put the Bad Bunny photo on our coffees since the first location didn't do it (even though that's literally what we ordered). The girl helping us was so nice and explained they can add the photo to any drink with light colored foam. I ordered the cinnamon dulce latte with vanilla cold foam and OMG...So good! This location is truly night and day compared to the first one. Great service, amazing drinks, and they actually deliver what they advertise. Plus, our Benito photos came out perfect and the avocado toast was Save yourself the hassle with downtown parking and the disappointment and just come to this location instead. I'd never gotten a chance to visit the Downtown location but this spot is in my hood so I had to come support. I came in this past weekend and while it was busy inside, there was no line. I had no idea what to order and I noticed they had a "Mazapan" latte which I immediately said was for me. I love anything almond flavored hence why I chose it. I also requested for Oat Milk which they had. First off, I have to say how happy I am to have a coffee shop in the area. It's a welcome addition to the neighborhood ever since Starbucks left which feels like a lifetime ago. This spot brings some ethnic flavor I always appreciate from living here in SJ. From the moment you walk in, you immediately notice how colorful it is. It reminded me of watching the performances of girls wearing the Mexican traditional dancing dresses with skirts twirling as they spin around. Back to the latte: It was expensive. Right under $10 but given that they have prime location, I could understand. Everything is expensive these days. When they brought the drink out, the cute latte art featuring a cat holding a candy cane was a nice touch. The Mazapan latte was extra hot and perfect for a really cold morning (around 50 degrees). What I didn't anticipate was that the drink was pretty much the exact same drink as my "Honey Almond" latte that I order at the Nordstrom's cafe every time I go. So if any of you out there love the "Honey Almond" latte at Nordstrom's, then you'll love this because it's the same thing.
