If you like conch and island/Caribbean food, you have to come here. It's more of a takeout place, but they do have a few tables -- and one two-top right outside. The restaurant sits on the east side of US 1/Federal Highway. It's located on the end of a small strip of stores -- next to a bait and tackle shop. The couple that own it and run it were so friendly. It's immaculate inside. The menu is written on a board on the counter. A couple daily specials are featured in the top corners of that board. This is not a fast food place. Your food is cooked to order... and a sign says that by the register. Even so, we didn't have to wait very long. We chose to eat inside. We started by sharing a small order (6) of conch fritters. You can also get 10 for a large order. The fritters are not the usual ball shaped hush puppy type. They are flat medallions and are absolutely delicious. We also shared an order of cracked conch and fries. The conch was tender inside it's light batter. The fries are the thin ones and perfectly cooked. We liked this very much as well. My husband also really liked the house made coleslaw that came with it. We got to taste a bit of conch salad. I was worried it would be too spicy for me. It wasn't, but it does have "personality". I'm getting the conch salad next time. And since there are quite a few other items on their menu (lobster corn dog? Crabs? Etc.), I'm sure we will be back more and more.

Yum yum yummity yum!!! We have been meaning to get here for months and finally made it. I am so glad we finally made it. The place is small (only a couple tables), clean, and well-lit. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food took a minute to come out because nothing was pre-made. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious!!! Gloria insisted she get a picture of us after she heard it was our first visit (first of many). Pretty sure she is the owner and chef. We ordered the conch fritters (which are more like tiny pancakes than the round ball fritters most people are used to seeing). They were well cooked and so tasty. The catfish nuggets are traditional Caribbean style fried catfish. It tasted fishy because it was fresh fried fish and very good. The mac-n-cheese was creamy and wonderful. My daughter said she would be going back for more of the rice. It was so delish! This is Bahamian style food and it was great!

Conch Cravings, 1191 N Federal Hwy Delray Beach, FL 33483 Drove to Delray to try the new Conch Cravings, a small Bahamian takeout and a black-owned business started with CRA funding. It opened in late June of 2022. They have a couple of tables (one wobbly high top and a few seats for single diners) inside and one outside -- and they are already busy. All food is made to order, so it does take a while for this stuff to come out, and if you are going to eat there and are very hungry, you might want to specify for them to send things out as they are ready. They didn't have anything ready-made like conch chowder (much to my wife's disappointment.), but they are working on having it in the future. We got conch fritters, crab salad, cracked conch, and fried snapper. The flavor of everything was on point; it's just like vacationing in Nassau or Freeport; the island spice is definitely there, especially in the conch rice, which is not a typical rice and peas; it's got conch in it. Nice people too. Conch Fritters are the less encountered pancake style, and they get thoroughly cooked, leaving no undercooked batter. I could quickly scarf down a large order of those. Crab salad is a nice-sized portion, with lots of crab meat in it. They will likely be changing the snapper to a whole fried fish as the portion of the bone-in filet was skimpy. When we talked to them about it, they gave us a second portion of fish, so they are definitely responsive to feedback and receptive to improving their food based on customer input. I told them it was OK for them to charge more for a whole fish, as that is the customer expectation when the description just says Snapper & Rice.

Surprisingly, when I walked in the restaurant was clean and up-to-date, the staff was super nice and greeted me initially when I came in the door with a friendly Hello! I checked out the scenery, of course, and noticed that in the new location the kitchen was open and you can see the staff preparing the food. Once I got to the register, I explained it was my first time there at this new location. The staff quickly gave me a rundown of the menu and dinner options available to me. One of the staff members also explained the difference between the two meat choices I was interested in. impatiently waited for me to make the final decision on which dinner plate I was interested in ordering. After paying , my food came out and about 10my food came out in about 10 minutes tops. The cashier opened the plate containing my food to show me how hot, fresh, and tasty looking my food was. Lastly, He secured my food with a plastic bag and handed me all of the items I purchased. I thought to myself what took me so long to actually come to this restaurant. It was such a great experience. I love the grow of the restaurant Customer Service different from the past experiences. I have had with this restaurant when it was in the location overall the experience was great and the price for one large plate of Griot was only $15. You cant beat that with a fat stick lol! Cheers to growth!

Umm if there was a 3.5 that would be more accurate…read more I ordered online for pickup, and when I went in the meals still weren't ready despite what the pickup time stated online. I ordered the Jerk Pork with Rice & Peas and Veggies (cabbage). The food itself was decent, but lacked a little bit of the real jerk flavour, and some of the pork was a little bit dry... almost as though new tender meat was mixed with older meat... this removed a half star for sure. The rice & peas and cabbage were good though. Also they did get the order right and the portions were pretty generous. They got the request for extra condiments and cutlery correct as well, something I find that is often missed with online ordering. PROS: - Easy to find (inside the mall food court) - Order accuracy - Generous portions - Pricing... value is pretty fair CONS: - Moisture of the meat (inconsistent) - Longer than stated wait time for pickup - Taste was "okay", could have used more "jerk" in the pork While I'm not waiting on bated breath for the next visit, I think I will try them again one day to see if (an)other food item(s) would be better. With slight improvements this could be a real go-to spot. And yes, as always, I'll keep you posted when that happens!
