    Conch fritters

The conch fritters were so delicious. Crispy and lots of filling on the inside. Wish they just had more table with seating next to each other instead of just those high tops with one chair across the table.

I'm a gumbo fanatic. It's hard to find a perfectly made gumbo. Well Stinkin Crawfish on Duval St comes pretty darn close. It has crab meat and I think this brings it over the top! Go just for the gumbo. Nice casual atmosphere. Live music. Clean place. It's a nice addition to the plethora of Duval restaurants. Service is very friendly.

Crawfish and mussels seafood boil, garlic bread (or was that Texas toast) and ginger beer

My across the street neighbors up here in Michigan who used to live in Key West told me I had to go eat at the place Ernest Hemingway used to go or the other place that Ernest Hemingway used to go that claims they're more legit and the true original so... I went to a crawfish place instead. I had some pretty weak crawfish up in Ocala and had a hankering for the real deal, especially since Key West seemed like a mini-New Orleans only more Jimmy Buffettish. Stinkin Crawfish delivered some tasty mudbugs and I went for some mussels in my seafood boil as well. It really hit the spot though it might have tasted extra good just cause I was so famished from riding my rental bike around all the day. The garlic bread was a nice touch and I ordered a ginger beer to wash it down. Service was fine. I barely made it inside cause the patio on Duval street was the place to be. One of the fabled free range chickens of Key West was even hanging out, no doubt grateful for the plentiful seafood around. I can't give a ton of details like some of my other reviews as I'm writing this 9 months later but I remember liking this place.

Food was amazing service was excellent and the ambiance was laughter light and merry! Everything about Duval street is a big party! I love the little town feel! So many shops and eateries. I didn't have enough time. I must go back to see more when I get time.

Food was good. The cheese was very cheesy. Waiters were stupendous. Vibe was off but there was live music so that's cool.

Wasn't a huge fan of the live music. I'm more of a introvert, so usually a calm, quiet place is my favorite to eat at. The service was really nice, but they could've been a little more attentive. The food was alright, I enjoyed the hush puppies but the jambalaya lacked flavor. They have a good remoulade sauce! Nice people watching but overall, not my cup of tea

Stopped in for the $1 oyster specials. First time we came here they were out of the oysters so we knew we'd have to come back. Was pleasantly surprised to see that most of their waitresses and waiters are from Cordoba, Argentina. I picked up on their accent right away, being Argentine as well we had some good conversation. They have live music during the lunch hour as well as the evening. Food was decent as I ordered some appetizers and my wife had her dozen oysters that she craves.

Located right on the bustling Duval Street in Key West, this seafood place is a true treasure for anyone seeking cajun seafood! The restaurant has a lovely patio, complete with fans that provide a refreshing breeze. The drink selection is excellent, with a variety of refreshing options that perfectly complement the seafood dishes. The gumbo stood out as authentic with a rich, flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice to give it a nice kick. The conch fritters were another highlight they were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious. With its great drinks, and delectable seafood, this place on Duval Street is a must visit. We enjoyed every moment and look forward to our next visit!

From Maraylamd, Texas and to the Low Country of Charlestin SC, but I have never had as tasty of Broil as I just had at the Yummy Crab in Key West Florida. I mean this place was absolutely amazing! The flavor of every piece of crab, corn, crawfish, shrimp, sasauge and potatoes in the dripping wet cajun sauce served in a bag to retain all that juice, flavor and aroma was all nearly too much to contain. So glad of all the wonderful places on the island we had to eat we chose this place. Thank you Jackie for your outstanding hospitality and service. You are amazing!

The spice they had for the boil had a sweet taste might have been the premade seafood boil seasoning. Thats what it tasted like to me .Wasn't to my liking. Something was eh about it. The fried oysters had a but if a fishy taste no go. I know a lot of places weights the seafood but the portions when they came out it was more like they added more corn and potatoes. For the price definitely wasn't worth it.

This place does not mess around. Seatings are nightly at 6:00 and 8:00. No children, no kids menu, and no parties larger than six without the owner's consent. Cancel within 24 hours and it's a $25 fee per person. The local who tipped us off while we were at Kermit's for key lime truly did us a solid. Sebastian was our server and did a great job making sure we got what we ordered (in more ways than one). From the amuse-bouche of whipped farmer's cheese with scallion and parsley on toasted crostini (which I will absolutely be trying to replicate at home), to the beef stroganoff, grouper, deviled eggs topped with scallops, lobster stuffed shrimp, and the must-order shrimp mango toast, every single dish/appetizer/entree was impeccable. And yes, the key lime pie absolutely delivered. We even took another slice back to our room for later that night, alongside a to-go slice from Kermit's, so we could make a truly final call. To eliminate any bias, we blindfolded ourselves for a taste test. The boys declared Kermit's the winner, while the ladies, including my son, gave a slight edge to Red Shoe, citing the crust and lighter texture. We sampled several key lime pies from every place we ate at that offered key lime but Kermit's and Red Shoe offer hands down the best versions. A very close call, and a delicious way to end the debate.

Food Blackfin is a beer and wine restaurant, so no cocktails. I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy when a place offers creative house cocktails. Since I'm not much of a wine or beer person either, I was initially a bit disappointed. That changed quickly when I saw they served Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. That alone felt like a small vacation in a glass. The menu offers plenty of choices to satisfy almost any palate. We weren't especially hungry, so we opted for a lighter approach: * Grilled Octopus * Tempura Green Beans * Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad Everything we ordered was very good. The salad was fresh and thoughtfully balanced, with bacon, goat cheese, apple, and honey bringing layers of flavor. It was served with a crusty baguette. We don't normally eat bread, but this was a welcome addition. The grilled octopus was tender, flavorful, and served hot. Always a good sign. The tempura items were nicely executed, lightly battered and not greasy. The green beans were crisp with delicate seasoning, served alongside a balsamic glaze dipping sauce that complemented without overpowering. Service Service was attentive throughout the evening. We never felt forgotten, and we never felt rushed. The pacing was natural and relaxed. Thank you, Gabor. Atmosphere The indoor dining area feels quiet and intimate. The outdoor patio in the back leans more casual. Surrounded by a tall fence and shaded by trees that form natural canopies, it offers a sense of privacy that can be hard to find in many of the more open-air restaurants along Duval Street. Even though this was a lighter, abbreviated meal for us, my sense is that Blackfin would be an excellent choice for a full dinner. We would definitely plan to return on our next visit to Key West.
