I took my car in because my sunroof was stuck open. They gave me an estimate to fix it and I agreed to have the service done. Ultimately they were not able to fix it and I still had to take it to the dealer for repair who told me the damage that was done would result in an even more expensive repair. Overall, I had a horrible experience with poor communication throughout. They had my car for several weeks and I had to chase them for updates. After the first week with no updates, I finally reached the shop manager and the response I got was to "be patient". This was the state of my car when I picked it up, which was not the state I dropped it off in. Although my car was over 10 years old it was in nearly perfect condition when I dropped it off. The car was hit while parked on the street outside the shop. When I saw the damage I went back into the shop and they sent me to their body shop to have it buffed out. Much of the damage came out but not all of it. Nothing was offered to rectify the damage done to the interior of the car. I sent emails to the shop with the pictures below, but got no response.

I was afraid it would cost an arm and a leg to fix, but Mike gave me a very reasonable quote based on a few pictures I sent and was able to schedule me for later that week. I was unsure that he would be able to get out the dings on the roof of my hardtop convertible, but he was able to get those out and the ding on the passenger door. The two dings on the driver's side, Mike was able to get out 1 completely but the other one there was still a slight ding but he got out most of it. I think those 2 dings were difficult get out as the dings were close together. Regardless I was very happy overall with the service Mike provided, he is extremely professional and his experience with paintless dent removal is evident. I would recommend Mike for anyone needing ding or dent repair, he is fair and honest, and will call on him again if I need his services.

Whether he meant it as a joke or not, it was completely inappropriate and instantly destroyed any trust I might have had in the shop. To make matters worse, he also criticized a previous estimate I had received from the same shop, saying that the original estimator "didn't know what they were doing." That level of disrespect toward both customers and coworkers was unacceptable. In the end, I decided to take my vehicle elsewhere for repairs--and I'm glad I did. I recommend others do the same if they expect professionalism and integrity.

Garcia's Auto recommended M&R auto body which turned out to be a block from where I had the accident. Robert literally walked over to help me get my car to his shop. When State Farm told me my car was a total loss I was shocked. Robert said, no and told me I could request and in person assessment. Because of that State Farm reversed their decision, Robert was right about the cost of the repairs and value of my car. His shop is family owned and run and trustworthy. And they have a dog, Leo so that tells you everything you need to know!

I had already reviewed the estimate beforehand and knew they were charging 6.2 hours of labor at $175/hour which felt extremely inflated for the work being done. For context, I called around to several shops and ended up receiving a quote for $745. When I went in to question the pricing with Nick, the quote suddenly dropped to $1,247. That's a huge difference for the exact same job - 32% to be exact. If there's that much "flex" in the price, it really makes you question how the original number was justified in the first place. At the same time, I was told they don't inflate estimates which didn't line up with what I experienced. The whole interaction felt uncomfortable and undermined my trust in their pricing transparency.
