I've had good and bad experiences here. I booked my appointment for 1:30..And dropped off around 1:15.. walked around the plaza near by and came back around 2:30 and waited for another hour saying it'll Take that long and at 3:30 I checked and my car barely got started... what's the point of an appointment when it still takes this long. First time when this happened, they offered me a rental car right away so I can go and get on with my day and come back but this time, they didn't and I HAD TO ASK about it and to only tell me nothing is available.. I had a Lyft car pending to pick me up and take me home all the way to Hercules and having to come back later when it's ready. Still not feeling comfortable taking lyft yet. Being pregnant and waiting and starving does not work with this type of service. End up canceling lyft because they said should be done within 20 minutes or so and by the time very thing is done and in my car is 4:10. By far the longest I've ever had to wait for a simple oil change. read more

Concord Mazda Saga Part Two: Well, Concord Mazda did it AGAIN! Breaking down, I FINALLY took my 06 Miata into Concord Mazda to get the job done once and for all. But months prior, to save money, l went to a hardware store and purchased a $175 after market this key fob for it. It started my car but it's remote never did open or close its doors and trunk. So l went to this key place, then that key place, then another key place AND a reputable car repair place hoping they could get my doors and trunk to open and close. Alllllllllll attempts were unsuccessful. PERIOD. FINALLY, l took my Miata in to Concord Mazda where it belonged in the first place. They straight up immediately told me what to order. I did. Part came in, took car back and got the job done RIGHT in the first attempt. Wow, what a waste of time and money l spent for nothing at those other businesses. We came in at 4 pm on a busy Sunday, hoping to take a car home the same day but not very positive at all since the site closes at 7 pm. ******+Buyer Beware********** I brought a car in for an inspection that I was interested in buying from a 3rd party. The service department issued me an inspection report indicating there was almost $3,000 worth of repairs on the vehicle. I took that report with a grain of salt, but used the report to haggle a lower purchase price with the 3rd party car owner. Let's just say I got a great deal on the car! Afterwards I took the car to a mechanic in San Francisco that has a reputation for honesty. He said all I needed was a transmission flush for $200. I even showed him the inspection report when I dropped the car off to get serviced. He said that the report is BS and saved me almost $2,800. I also learned that the service reps at Mazda get paid a commission. They are actually sales reps trying to up sell people to fix repairs that don't even need to be repaired. These greedy guys tried taking me for $3k. It feels pretty good that I didn't get taken. *******Buyer Beware********** FYI, I've been driving my car for 3 months now and it drives great!!!! read more
