I stopped by The Gourmet Cone today, Sunday 9/6, around 1:45 PM. A gentleman and a dark haired girl were working. I waited to be helped but was never greeted or acknowledged, so I left. I returned around 3:40 PM with a friend who wanted ice cream, and the exact same thing happened. My friend and I were the only customers in the store, yet neither employee greeted us or offered assistance. She asked when the Dubai Chocolate flavor would be back, and they both just stood there without responding. The other reviews are true. The employees working today were rude and nasty, and the atmosphere felt negative and uncomfortable. We did not feel welcomed at all. I used to stop here every Sunday after church, but the customer service has gone downhill. I never had experiences like this when the Irish guys were working. After being treated this way twice in one day, this will be my last time patronizing this establishment. read more

The gentleman working was amazing and clearly doing his best, but I thought it was a bit surprising that there was only one employee on a weekend. One thing I'm not crazy about is the parking. This is a neighborhood ice shoppe. Most of their customers are walking as they live around the corner.
