Your past customer reviews are the only reason what made us drive the 200-mile round trip. Everything you read about (ConejoRV) is absolutely true and more. We were interested in this low mileage 2017 Fleetwood. When we did the initial walk through, we saw minor things would have been nice to get it fixed. When we said we like to buy this unit, this amazing company did their own extreme inspection. One week later sent us an email with a list of things they will fix that we didn't see during our first visit. Not only did they fix what we didn't notice, they actually replaced big ticket items such as awnings, TV Etc. We were anxious, while 90% of the RV was getting completed, we wanted to get the RV orientation done. We ended-up getting the most amazing orientation that lasted several hours. We are new to RV life, orientation was conducted in a manner people like us were able to comprehend. We trusted them so much before getting the rest of the items fixed, we wrote a check immediately for $125,000 and ask them to keep the unit knowing 150% certain they will fix the rest. We wanted to buy our own insurance and the extended warranty from outside. In the end, everything (ConejoRV) recommended (insurance and the extended warranty) ended-up costing us less and better than what we would have paid. When we were about to leave, (ConejoRV) gave us 1-year membership to Thousand Trails. We are going to use that membership to stay for free at Thousand Trails RV sites this year. We are so glad we didn't buy a RV from an individual owner or a BIG RV dealership. We would have never received this level of peace of mind or the service. ConejoRV is all about customer retention, on top of what they fixed, they give you a 45-day onsite warranty. We believe the reason why they are the way they are, owner believes in staff working for a salary, not commission. This small team is friendly, honest and care about ConejoRV reputation. I bought a coach last weekend. I can't say enough about the entire staff! I was in the mioddle of refinancing my house, put a deposit on the coach and they were more than helpful when it took longer than expected. My wife did not like the mattress in the bedroom, so Rick purchased a pillow top for us at no charge. Whe nI am in the market again for an upgrade, I wil ldefinitely be looking at their lot and I encourage anyone looking for a quality used RV to check them out. I wanted to share the wonderful experience we had when we bought our Class A Moterhome. We drove 7 hours to check out a moterhome we saw on line. We talked to Rick many times before making the trip. I was so disappointed when I went to Conejo RV. I read so many positive reviews I was sure this was where I was going to purchase my RV. Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that if they do not think you are a rich male they won't give you the time of day. It was the most insulting experience I have had at any type of dealership. I will be purchasing an RV but definitely not from this dealership. I truly do not understand why they has received so many positive reviews. We just came in to look. We're considering an RV but aren't sure what size we would want. The RV's on their lot are open, they will provide answers to any and all of your questions, but they let you browse without standing over you. I was in the auto sales business for over 25 years as a Dealer. One of the things we learned about the market we were in is to let people have the time to look and don't pounce on them. Pretty cold response on the call. I was literally standing out side the RV lot with not a single person on the lot and was told to check out website. The place is open so very confused why I couldn't see the two RV's I came to see. Drove 35 minutes to check out and was turned away by Rick. Very disappointing. I bought an RV (used 2016 Thor Outlaw) from them right when the pandemic started. I told them I was driving from 7hrs away and the sales person told me they would hold it until I arrived to look at it. When we got there our experience was typical from other CA RV Dealerships, ie: no one came to us, we had to seek out the sales person. He showed us where the RV was and he left. At no time did anyone come to check on whether we needed help or not so I didn't think they really cared if they sold it to us or not. The sales experience was confusing, as it seemed the sales person didn't know a thing about the outlaw and we were told very odd things like you can bring the slides out when the RV is not leveled (warning signs all over the RV saying never do this), and they told us we didn't need a surge protector, which is just crazy. The sales person did not explain the loan process at all, so at one point we were under the impression that our loan did not get approved and were ready to head back to our home, when he called us to tell us it was approved. The RV had all kinds of minor issues and several missing items. We went thru the RV ourselves and tried to test what we could and gave them a list. They fixed most of what we identified for a week, so we had to drive back home, and gave us their "word" they would replace the missing table, door handle screen sliders, and sink covers. At first they told me they were never included with the RV, so I provided them proof from another dealer that indeed they did come with the RV when it was new. The person who gave us a tour of the outlaw, obviously knew very little about it and seemed to only have basic RV knowledge as he struggled to show us a few things and left out a ton of information and missed a LOT of things. I had already read the owners manual before I even looked at the RV and already had taken 2 video orientations of this model. Due to the pandemic we just drove it back to storage as everything was locked down. While on the way home we came to realize that the "welcome kit" they gave us was next to worthless as far as hoses go. We had to purchase our own hoses before we could use it. Our first trip the water system would not work, so I called Conejo and they told me to turn it from City water Fixtures to "Normal" which was wrong information while connected to an RV park, although that managed to get the water to work. However the byproduct of this was it also filled the water tank while on Normal, so we could not use water directly connected to an RV park only from the tank. The problem was the water system was defective from the moment we left their dealership, and had they inspected it they would have known this. I pulled out the anderson water valve and was shocked at what I saw. Someone used a pliers (Not the method to pull the valve out) to pull this valve out which damaged the very end of it, and it was missing an O ring on the inside, so someone had to have taken this out lost the O ring and put i back in. I found a replacement valve on amazon and installed it myself and managed to fix the water system on my own and now it works correctly on City Water Fixtures as it is supposed to. They did NOT replace all the items they "promised" they would replace so I would not rely on any promises they make. They told me they could not get the small table between the drivers/passenger seats that was missing after months of looking for it, so I called another dealer and got a new one shipped to me in less than a week. They told me that I could buy on my own the door handle screen covers on amazon (even though they said they would provide these), but that was also false information, and I have yet to find a replacement for these. The drivers screen window is also missing, beside 3 blown speakers on the inside, one outside speaker broken and did not work at all, and the HDMI switcher box was only working on 1 input and it also needed to be replaced. I pulled out all the HDMI wires and found they didn't even hook up all the wires. I bought a new HDMI box and wired everything up myself and now all works great. I do appreciate that they didn't lie up front or trying to pressure me into purchasing a new RV like most CA dealers do, however I recommend that if your planning on buying anything from Conejo you hire an independent RV inspector to check things out FIRST before you purchase from them. We wanted to do this but due to the pandemic we could not get one scheduled. We had to pay around a grand of stuff in order to get this outlaw RV Park ready, buying hoses, speakers, HDMI box, valves, etc.. and fixing and replacing things they didn't do. I guess I should be thankful for them at least getting us the sink covers, which they did finally ship us. Had they actually came through with what they promised, and had I not found the bad speakers, and screwed up water system and HDMI system, I would have given them more stars, as they were pleasant to talk with. read more

I did a lot of research online and decided to go to Conejo. I had reviewed their website 100 times. I come from a city that does not have a lot of inventory so I thought I could get the best deal here. I had many questions. I pulled onto their very small lot to find no parking. There were at least 5 employees/sales reps standing outside. I told them I was going to pull around and park on the street. When I walked back not even a minute later they all disappeared. So I walked around the lot by myself. Eventually a man named Kirk came out of the office with the look on his face like he drew the short straw. I felt like I was a nuisance from the get go. He did show me the coach I was interested in, subsequently 2 stars rather than one. When I talked about price, he said they don't negotiate. Which I believe to not be true. Thanks for helping me find my rig, but I will be shopping for a better price elsewhere! Furthermore, their website implies they have way more inventory than they actually do. read more

We started looking at Sprinters and we looked everywhere. We got to Conejo and it was the first time we felt like we were in the right place. They sold us a barely used 4wd Sprinter nicknamed The Beast. We have had it for months and every little problem we have they fix, they help us through learning all about it. They never "nickel and dime" you and they stand behind everything they sell. We just purchased a class A motorhome from ConejoRV and had an exceptional experience. This was our first motorhome buy so we did as much research on various dealers as we did on the motorhome itself.  We discovered that there are dealers to avoid while most are honest and reliable, however, we found through reputation and personal experience that ConejoRV is not only among the very best in California, but in all the West. We are from Oregon and it was well worth our while to buy from ConejoRV and hope to be a repeat buyer again one day. A few things we learned to look for in a dealer that sells pre-owned motorhomes; buy from a dealer that also sells new coaches from strong brands (this indicates they are reliable and financially well-established), buy from a dealer that has been in business a long time (ConejoRV has been around for over two decades), look for a dealer that has positive reviews from past customers (wherever we find dealer reviews, ConejoRV is always rated very highly), and ask other dealers their opinion (reputable dealers in our state had only positive things to say about ConejoRV).  We also found that practically all the inventory at ConejoRV is in terrific shape and they do a lot of work to make sure the coaches they sell are in great condition and ready to be enjoyed by the buyer.  The warranty they provide on pre-owned coaches also speaks volumes about how they operate and the confidence they have in their process.  We found that ConejoRV also has a strong team culture among its sales and service staff. Everyone we met was helpful and always attentive. And finally, when we bought our coach, we encountered an unexpected mishap and ConejoRV came through for us in spades and made sure we were well taken care of.  We feel very fortunate to have bought our coach  from ConejoRV, which proved itself to be an excellent dealer and overall exceptional business to buy from. WOW.... these guys are rock stars... sales and maintenance.... My wife and I had been looking for a small late model Class B motor home for the past 10 years. We went to many events and various RV shows and saw models that were too old, too beat up, had too many miles, wrong features, basically all turn offs.. Stopped in to look at their dealership.... considered buying a new Winnebago Navion until we found this 2012 Roadtrek RS Adventurous, recently turned in by the original owners to trade up to the Navion. I drove the Winnebago Navion, Winnebago Fuse and the Roadtrek... hands down the Roadtrek for the way it handled, price point and features... We felt like we got a great deal! Took delivery and discovered a few issues with the used coach, BUT, with the limited warranty they gave us, they FIXED all of our issues "under warranty" at no charge.... we're VERY HAPPY... I was in the market for a well maintained quality pre-owned diesel pusher. After dealing with the "run of the mill" high pressure cat and mouse games they like to play over at the larger RV chain stores, I fortunately stumbled upon Canejo RV in Thousand Oaks. What a difference! From the moment I stepped onto the dealership property, I felt completely relaxed, unpressured and welcomed. Sales associate Ray approached me, said feel free to look around and if I had any questions he would be happy to assist. After carefully perusing all the diesel pushers on the lot (all without being harassed) for about 4 hours, I chose a Monaco Cayman. Ray gave me the detailed; "what's what", then it was time to meet Sergio who very patiently took me on a test drive and the rest is history. Canejo RV even took care of a Safety Recall that Monaco had issued several years prior. We found our motor home while searching on RVT.com. We live 6 hours from Conejo RV and I was pretty nervous about making the drive not knowing if the information I was being told by Jim was truthful or if he was just trying to get us into his office to make a sale. When we pulled into the driveway we saw the unit sitting in front of the office, it looked amazing, super clean, and ready to roll off. I went inside for a quick inspection. All I can say is that Jim described this unit very well and left out no detail. My worries quickly went away. This thing was spotless and smelled brand new. Noel gave me the walk through and demonstrated all the features this unit had. Signing the papers took less than 5 minutes and I was off the lot in less than an hour. We decided to stay in So. Cal. (Disneyland) for a few days just to make sure everything was in working order. On the way to Anaheim the backup monitor quit. After pulling in to our site in Anaheim the jacks did not work appropriately. There were a few other issues as well. The next morning I called Conejo and told them about the problems. They told me they would call me right back. Within a minute the owner Rick called me and asked If I could bring it back so he can take care of the issues. I told him that I could have it there on Wednesday. I was a little nervous about driving a motor home I wasn't yet use to through LA City traffic and asked Rick if I could stay on his lot the night before. He didn't hesitate and said he would have a spot for us when we got there. We arrived at midnight and sure enough there was a big open area. The next morning I met Rick and we went over all the issues. He said, "no problem, we will take care of it". A few hours later he called and said your coach is ready to be picked up. He fixed every issue including the jacks, replaced the monitor, some interior lights, and a new spray nozzle for the outdoor shower. He also through in a DVD player for the rear bedroom TV. He said he couldn't believe there wasn't one there already. The staff at Conejo were very professional, courteous, and friendly. Down the road when it's time to replace our coach I will definitely be giving them my first look. read more

After finding an RV online, I contact Conejo and indicated I would be driving from Nevada (a 4-5 hour drive) to check it out. Conejo agreed to put a hold on it and I drove down the next day. The RV was not in any semblance of repair to be sold. It would not start (dead battery), numerous items were broken or missing, and it was not even on their lot -- it was on an overflow lot about a mile away. I was told by the salesman that once I bought it, they would fix all the problems and it would be delivered in perfect working order. Not how I would spend $44,000. read more

Great dealership experience. Home town feel. I needed a lot of time and patience to make a decision when buying my first rv. Rick, Ray, John, Kirk, Sergio never failed to listen and answer ever question no matter how ridiculous. I probably stopped by the dealership at least 10-20 times before taking home my new van. Every single time I was welcomed. One evening they were closed and my son and I were walking the lot. Trash. Expect trash. I bought a Motorhome from these folks 8 years ago. Since then I've had nothing but spending money upgrading this Motorhome. Conejo RV will restore these RVs to the very minimum so you will buy them. Since buying mine (I got suckered), ive had to have the roof redone including all the shrouds, anti-sway bars installed, new tires, the front brakes turned, interior completely revamped (flooring and upholstery). They sell crap. Don't go here unless you are desperate. And even then think twice. Just crooks. Period read more

We can't say enough good things about CONEJO RV. We bought our first RV from them in June last year. They were very patient teaching us about our coach. Being first time campers we had so much to learn. We love this life so much that we decided to expand our travels. We just bought a second coach which is more adaptable to long trips. I would rather give negative stars. Drove thru traffic for 2.5 hours to this place to see RVs listed on the internet only to arrive and get ZERO customer service. Walked into the office and told by a woman that never got out of her chair, to look around and come back with any questions. After looking around, went back into the office with questions. Not a single person ever got up out of their chairs to even greet us or introduce themselves. Really???
