Went to all the gigantic dealers in the IE and Orange County, looked for hours only to find that all sales personnel are the same, pressured sales. Found Conejo RV and what a difference. Jim is super knowledgeable, friendly, organized and competent. He sold us our Fleetwood but the service didn't stop with him. Any time we had a question and if Jim wasn't available Kirk and Rick took their time answering questions too. Throughout the whole process it felt like we had a whole team on our side. Then there's the service department, WOW! We took our RV on a trial trip to figure out the kinks and came up with a long list of repairs from cosmetic to water leaks. We were very concerned but then we met Nathan and Jose and they did a superb job of fixing everything in half the time they promised. That was followed by a phone call from Jim to make sure everything got taken care of. We love our RV and we are so happy with Conejo RV. We bought a $127k RV from Conejo RV. Unfortunately, the whole process was a disaster from start 2 finish. Bad sales, bad service, bad owner. We suffered over 54 problems, including safety and environmental issues. We were forced 2 contact Winnebago Industries, Sioux City. Iowa 4 resolution. They promptly referred us 2 a different service center & we were very understanding, cooperative, & accommodating. Nevertheless, it has taken one 1+ years 2 satisfactorily resolve all the problems. Winnebago is a good company. Beautiful, functional RVs. All is well that ends well. Conejo RV is not a good company. We Wld never do business with them again. Period. read more

We just purchased a new rv and found their friendly service rewarding. We found them through the Internet and they offered the best price and after a few phone calls and emails selected the rv we wanted. I told them we would be driving from Oceanside and if we liked it we would buy it and would like to drive it home. Since it requires them to service it, fill all the fluids including a full tank of diesel, wash it and do house cleaning they did it before we got there knowing we may not like it and not buy it. How many rv dealers would do that? Once we saw the rv we bought it and they spent three hours with us explaining how to operate everything on the rv. Two days ago I was looking at the Conejo RV website and had a few questions about a Winnebago RV, so I clicked on the Ask a Question and sent it with my questions. I live about 70 miles away and wanted to ask a few questions before I spent an hour driving each direction. I see that there are several five star reviews for this RV sales lot, so I expected to hear back from them in a timely manner. If this is typical of their customer service I am glad that I didn't drive out there to look at a RV. Why I drive 500 miles to do business with Conejo. We found Conejo RV three years ago, after visiting our son and family in Irvine, and bough our first coach. The reasons below are why I only do business with Conejo. We purchased our second coach from Conejo August 1, 2019 1. One need not worry about being attacked by sales people. After two weeks, we were past the mileage by 200 miles. They still honored the warranty. 6. They have years of experience together and are a very cohesive team from sales to mechanics. Not impressed at all to say the least. I stopped in today, financing approved, etc.. and ready to buy a coach. Jim and the other sales guy couldn't even take the time to break away from checking their phones to show me the coach's I had come to view. I took time to inspect them on my own.. took my notes, and will buy from another dealer. The rigs are dirty and lack the attention needed to make a sale. I get that it's hot out today, but hey... greet your customers when they stop in your office and make an effort to make a sale. Don't offer them water and send them on their own... As a long time sales professional, this was disappointing. I would rather buy from out of state than give this location my business. Don't waste your time here. read more

I've been searching for a used Class A RV for about 6 months now. My experience with dealerships has been a mixed bag from one star to two stars. I came to Conejo to see a couple of units they had. The first salesman I met was Jim who showed us to the first unit and left us alone to explore and discuss. We were already in secondary discussions on a unit being sold by a private party at the time. I had a couple of questions that Jim thought it best to be asked of Kirk. Meeting with Kirk was a sincere pleasure. Super knowledgeable and generous with that knowledge. We are still in limbo on a purchase but even though we are leaning towards the private party unit, Kirk was kind enough to spend another 45 minutes with me on the phone with more advice, knowing I was leaning the other way. We purchased a motor home from Conejo RV in May of 2011. Our salesperson Glen was very friendly and very knowledgeably about all the motor homes we looked at. We got a fair trade in price and a fair price for the one we purchased. My husband and I had the best buying experience at Conejo RV! We live about two hours away from this dealership, but we felt the drive was well worth it. We have been to other 'big', 'giant' places and came away knowing that we had been lied to, either through ignorance or deliberately we don't know. We have never owned an RV before, but I've been researching them online for many years. We've been to this place before about a year ago to test drive a different rig, but this March, we decided to buy. Ray, our salesman at Conejo was great to deal with, he was honest and patient with us. Our chosen RV had two different prices on the internet and the owner of Conejo RV honored the lower price when we pointed it out to him. We bought a 2010 Itasca Navion. After our first shake down trip we found a few minor problems that they fixed for no charge. Our odometer just showed 30,000 miles and we are as happy now with our Itasca Navion as we were the day we bought it! One of the best things is not only how much we LOVE our traveling life but we know that Kirk and all the guys at Conejo RV are there if we need the slightest thing. Just bought a used 37 foot class A Georgetown. The salesman Jim was awesome. Jim tried to make our transaction as smooth as possible and went above our expectations. The owner of the dealer is Rick and he as well is mostly concerned about customer service as seems willing to do all to make that happen. When you take possession of your motorhome expect Sergio to take a couple of hours to go over every detail of the RV to make sure everything is working. If it is broken they will fix it. I found that all of the people at Conejo RV were very nice and accommodating. I had been looking for an RV for over a year and just couldn't pull the trigger. We drove to Conejo RV from Bullhead City AZ to look at a 2008 Super C diesel motorhome they had on their lot. Right from the start it was a pleasant atmosphere. No high pressure tactics, Rick just answered our questions & told us all about the rig. Pricing here starts at a fair price. He seems to mark them low and sticks with that. Not much room for haggling. Once we made the decision to buy, the paperwork etc. went fast & easy. We needed a few days to get our money together and they needed a few days to detail our rig. So we drove back home to AZ in our car. Within a few days our motorhome was delivered to our home! How sweet is that??! Once we received the motorhome, we took off for our first outing. We ran into a few problems, mostly due to operator error, not understanding things. When problems came up we would call Conejo RV, and they would walk us through it. They were very nice & had a good attitude about it all. We've had the new motorhome about 2 months now. We are very happy with it and the experience we had with Conejo RV. The first day that I came onto the lot, Ray stepped out of his office and came over to me and asked if he could help me. I replied, "Well, let me say that I'm not buying anything today, I'm just starting to research RVs, and I am a complete Newbie." He replied that "Newbies are great" and he would be delighted to help. He proceeded to show me all of the RVs that were the size I was interested in. Then he recommended some websites to add to my learning curve, and suggested I rent one for a few days. I did all of the above, continued to research, and returned 3 months later. Ray wasn't there that day, but Jim was. He too proceeded to show me the inventory that was the size I was looking for. I kept waiting for the high pressure - but he kept saying, "Ok. Well, think about it. Let me know if you have any questions"... and I continued asking them, and he continued to answer them without the high pressure. I found the Class C I was looking for and proceeded to lead HIM into the sale! He was very helpful and made the whole experience relaxing and wonderful. When I returned a few days later with some paperwork, BOTH Ray and Jim were there and I told both of them how much I appreciated how helpful they both had been. This business is like the old fashioned businesses we used to have years ago when the owners cared about their customers, cared about their standing in their town, neighborhood, and community. We just purchased our class a motor home from Conejo Rv. The vibe there is extremely low pressure. In fact, it was no pressure. They work as a team and they are there to simply help answer any questions. The experience was so much different than the other 5 places we shopped. Their prices are no haggle. The price on the sticker is pretty much the price you pay. But their sticker is several thousand dollars below their competitors up front. Kirk was very patient with us and Sergio went through every single item in the coach upon delivery assuring that EVERYTHING was in working order. We have a 45 day warranty as well and their reputation is that they will stand behind their coach if anything comes up within that period of time. When we camp, we get compliments on how beautiful and new our coach looks. And it's 7 years old. I have already recommended Conejo Rv to several people.
